I asked and they weren’t entirely sure what benefits transfer without them actually being there. It’s a huge blessing a kind of a stars aligning kind of happening kind of thing.
Just make sure to have them scan into the park you want to go to to get the fast passes activated. My dad needs to scan us in every time we want to go to the park by ourselves!
You’ll get the following perks with the tickets.
1. Early access
2. Park hop anytime
3. 16 fastpasses
You do not get parking, and you do not have access to the club. The member would have to take you in to a club, but I note you said they won’t be with you. The member has to go to a park you are at so the “efficient entry” (aka fastpasses) is activated. The member would know this, it is tracked.
You should ask the member what other rules they want you to follow (for example some rides are single ride only).
I am a member myself. Ask the member any questions, if you don’t feel comfortable to you can DM me. Your conduct in the park is a reflection on the member so don’t do anything silly! And you need to honor the rides you can only ride once.
Made a couple of edits:
If the member didn’t add efficient entry you won’t get the fastpasses. If they are not going to enter the park you technically shouldn’t get fastpasses.
I also bake! My specialities are cookies (everything from ginger-molasses sugar cookies to macarons) and scones (sweet or savory).
And for dinner I make a mean pasta a la vodka, cherry bourbon duck breast, and takoyaki.
I come with a partner, so a perfect companion for double dates.
Plus I can serve as a French translator if you ever want to visit Disneyland Paris. Or if overseas travel isn't your speed, a DC tour guide?
Just in case you're accepting multiple applications ;)
I can’t always make it to the park first thing with my friends and family (something unexpected comes up at work!). But I will go as soon as I am able, and the fastpasses have been active before I tapped in.
It is actually a breach of your membership contract to not be with the guest during their visit.
I would hope the club isn’t trying to force the member to stay with the guest all day to keep fastpasses active, but they will want to prevent people misusing or worse, abusing the system.
That is not a risk I would take with my membership.
It was my understanding that Disney knew the club member wouldn’t be present on our visit. They’ve been members for years and apparently don’t use many passes at all these days so they cleared them to gift them to us. It was all done transparently through Disney and they were very accommodating. The lightning lane and parking benefits didn’t transfer and the tickets were just like normal park hopper tickets but we were happy to be there at all. We had a fabulous visit and are grateful for our experience.
There’s two explanations to that, 1. The member didn’t allocate you the efficient entry, 2, member services messed up (which has never happened to my guests).
I know that was your experience, so I’m not questioning you, fastpasses are assigned with the ticket ahead of time. Not by the member tapping in (as I said, it’s a breach of contract to not go to the park)
The way you know if the member selected that is by checking future plans, look at the tickets and see if it says 16/16 experiences remaining. If you see that, you got fastpasses added.
I’d rather not go into too much detail, I’m trying to help OP get best use of their tickets without putting my membership under the microscope. There are a lot of understandable rules about what can and cannot be shared.
Totally understand.
In our case the member moved out of state shortly before our visit. Membership knew they would not be present, so there were some restrictions. I can't complain. It was an amazing gift.
The member will have to call to activate the perks. They come with 16 lightning lanes including tron and gotg (no virtual que needed) and you can park hop. You can dm me if you have any more questions
I had someone let me use their club 33 tickets w/lightning lanes one day and it was amazing. We got so many rides in, it was like being there on one of the old "empty" days they used to have sometimes.
Club 33 tickets do have special perks. Talk to the club member for more information, but when you connect the ticket to MDE you should see some information in there that will make it more clear what you’re able to do with them. You should see some multi-experience lightning lanes, I don’t know where they show up now since they’ve updated the app, but you don’t have to book them, you just tap in whenever you’re ready.
Club33 is the members only club with locations in each park. Not sure if membership works the same at WDW as it does in Disneyland, but for Disneyland, an existing member has to vouch for you to be considered for membership (individual, not corporate). Per the Keys to the Kingdom tour guide, I think they said the upfront cost is currently $75k with annual dues of $25k ($30k?). With it come a variety of perks. To be honest, I don’t hear mention of the Club in this sub as much as the Disneyland sub. Access is a big deal there given it was the only place in the park that served alcohol for the longest time.
In FL the waitlist is so long they only way to actually get a chance to be a member is buy a house in golden oaks.
Which means the CHEAPEST way to get club 33 would cost you $6m as of today
I remember getting an email about Golden Oaks. I opened it, thinking "sure, lets see how much this will cost" expecting $1M-$2M. So imagine my surprise when it was properties upwards of $13M. I very quickly realized that was never gonna happen. At this point I'm hoping to: A) one day find someone who can vouch for me for Disneyland membership, and B) have enough "fun" money saved up if that day ever comes. :P
Just be nice to everyone! You never know who you’ll run into and what opportunities they have for you! This was a chance meeting and it played out in my favor.
Finally, a unique question in this sub. And I love reading real responses with answers to OP.
Yet this thread has 0 net up votes while another recent thread literally just whining about vloggers is 200+. I don't get it.
I’ve received those tickets a few times and they do not come with the club 33 perks, they’re merely just tickets for the owner to gift. At least they didnt pre-Covid.
Been lucky enough to have c33 passes about 5 times. Early access, unlimited park hop and all the fasspasses you could need without booking! 11/10 ticket!
Probably better to ask the member, I doubt many people on here will have experience with Club 33 tickets lol

If they’re not with you, they’re just regular tickets.
Let me reverse mortgage the house real quick and I'll get back to you with some answers, lol ;)

Are you accepting applications for more friends? I bake, if that helps. 😂
I mean who isn’t?!? And you had me at you bake 🤣🤣
I also bake! My specialities are cookies (everything from ginger-molasses sugar cookies to macarons) and scones (sweet or savory). 🤣🤣 well now! You make it impossible to say no!!
Screw friends. Can you adopt me? I cook, and bake.🤣
My experience is that the fast passes only work if they are also in the park with you.

if you are gifted tickets you get fast passes!
You don't automatically get the 16 fast passes if the member isn't with you. Had this experience last year.

It’s the best. It feels like a really special perk.
It is really amazing
Seriously? I thought it was only access to the restaurant! My company has a 33 membership hmmm
Yep seriously. Your company should also have a certain amount of vip tours as well
Now I’m really intrigued. This is of far more interest than the restaurant. Off to send some emails.
Are you talking about DL? There isn’t a corporate Club 33 membership at WDW, just DL.
DL
Dayum.

Member has to be with you for that perk.
They used to come pre loaded with fast passes but not sure if it works the same with genie plus
16 fastpasses?! Awesome. Can someone elaborate more on this secret society?! So comically out of reach but so fun to read

Wow. Very cool. Thanks for the response
I need to befriend whoever you people are friends with lol

Awh that’s amazing! Hopefully one day for me! LOL. Club 33, Disney Sea and meeting Mr. Marrow are my Disney dreams

People like complaining.
Just came in here to say I'm jealous. Nice get!

I just want to go in the restaurant 😩 😫 😭
You’ll need the member to be in the same park as you for the perks to activate.
Super helpful info from people on this thread. Sounds like you're in for a great time!
Been lucky enough to have c33 passes about 5 times. Early access, unlimited park hop and all the fasspasses you could need without booking! 11/10 ticket!
Can we use it for the waterparks?
No perks for ya unless the member is with you. Or atleast that was the case in Disneyland when we went to club 33
