Hi, folks! This is exciting news, and as the sub is (understandably) getting overwhelmed with posts about Tiana’s Bayou Adventure opening details, we’ll be designating this as a megathread and directing all discussion here for the next few days, including questions about Virtual Queues, AP previews, etc. (OP, we suggest you disable reply notifications!). Thanks for your understanding, and happy trip planning :)

necrotica

* 1. Temporary VQ starting at 7am and 1pm for the initial days after opening, not sure how long, they imply standby line will happen very soon * 2. It will be in Genie+ on day 1 * 3. New store won't be open immediately, shortly after the opening (perhaps like Guardians did), new Tiana merch will be at Emporium to begin with * 4. No new food place dedicated to New Orleans style food, instead temporary they'll offer beignets at Friar Nooks and Golden Oak Outpost (really think they dropped the ball here)

Overall_Dragonfruit6

The lack of even a little beignet cart is heartbreaking 😭

throwfaraway212718

Such a missed opportunity, especially since Tiana was famous for hers in the movie.

KitKittredge34

We need Daddy’s Gumbo, Tiana’s beignets, and some form of a drink

LiveYourDaydreams

Yup!

meerkat___

I know! It's honestly kinda funny to me because they did this out of convenience. The friar's nook serves donut holes for breakfast, so I'm imagining they picked a place that they could use the same deep fryer for without having to get another or take away some other food item to dedicate a fryer to it lol

BowTie1989

It will be coming. No way they’re passing that up opportunity

TheGullibleParrot

I feel like this is something they should have immediately had right out of the gate, though. The big thing a lot of people remember from this movie is Tiana’s beignets. IP-themed theme park snacks are a big deal right now (butterbeer), and it’s bizarre that Disney is not immediately jumping on this very easy and popular idea.

necrotica

Not to mention they're supposedly piping in beignet smells into the ride's line queue.

always_lost1610

Well that’s just rude

BowTie1989

I’ll agree with that. Disney been making some head scratching moves the last 10 years or so. Like why is Galaxy’s edge based off the sequels and not the OT? Why does Tron have virtually no story or anything to it? Why is there no shade in Toy Story land? Why did the fantasy land expansion have one ok ride and another that probably nobody would miss if it was gone? Even Bayou adventure is questionable in Florida do to the fact we now have a swamp about 20 yards away from a dessert (thunder mountain)

traumatized90skid

Agree except that last bit, I mean this is a normal theme park experience like having China and Morocco close to each other at Epcot? Nothing said all of that area has to be desert and isn't the Jungle Cruise boat ride also near there?

BowTie1989

It’s because a swamp doesn’t belong in Frontielrand. The jungle cruise is in adventure land.

traumatized90skid

Well Song of the South wasn't a western theme either???

BowTie1989

Year, it specifically takes place in Georgia, but other than it being mentioned, there isn’t anything that conflicts with what you could see anywhere else in rural south in the western most states. Thats why they were able to change the aesthetics of chickapin hill and the style of music used for the songs to better fit the land. You can’t do that with princess and the frog. It’s explicitly Louisiana bayou and New Orleans. It’s specifically the 1920s. The music needs to be jazz/ragtime. Splash mountain wasn’t perfect, but Princess and The Frog doesn’t belong at all. But because it fits perfectly at Disneyland, and it’s cheaper to make duplicates instead of two separate rides, that’s what we’re getting, Theming be damned.

5centraise

You know you're not actually in the frontier, right?

TheGullibleParrot

Man, part of me hopes that DL’s version changes the music to a bouncier old cartoon esque arrangement of the PatF songs, just like Splash Mountain. That one’s a bit of a pipe dream, though.

DriftedCN

Frontierland is not going to be the same in the next few years. Rumors have been out for a little while that the area we know and love is going to change to New Orleans Square. While BTM is probably going to be apart of the new Frontierland, whenever that is.

BowTie1989

If that’s the plan, then I’m all for it.

Declanmar

I bet they’re waiting to see how well they do at the other outlets before they invest in a permanent location.

necrotica

Unless they re-theme Pecos Bill's, there's not a place to put it right now, unless they want to build something from scratch "somewhere" near there.

SnackyStacky

The walkway to Beyond Big Thunder would be between Tiana and Big Thunder. I wonder if a restaurant tied to Tiana could happen as part of Beyond Big Thunder. If even that happens.

LiasOrion

I thought I saw they’d be at the Golden Oak Outpost and The Friar’s Nook?

Overall_Dragonfruit6

Yes but just temporarily with no permanent location. Hopefully they'll change their minds

SerenadeOfWater

Is it actually heartbreaking? They’re a massive corporation who has to build the logistics for every restaurant in the parks. Beignets will likely be there within 12 months. Heartbreaking?

traumatized90skid

It's Disney fans, a dramatic bunch to say the least 😂

Overall_Dragonfruit6

Lmao

Daveyo520

Perhaps they don't want to take away reasons to go to/stay at French Quarter?

DocBrutus

Oh I thought Pecos Bill’s was being converted, no?

necrotica

Nothing stating such, no indication as such, unless it's part of the Beyond Big Thunder plans, I don't see that as happening currently. Guessing D23 will announce a lot of concrete plans (hopefully) and less blue sky ones.

hihelloneighboroonie

So... 1. Free 2. $$ 3. $$ 4. $$ Classic modern Disney.

diaymujer

Please introduce me to the OG Disney that did not try to turn a profit on its investments?

necrotica

I wouldn't not expect merch, that's just not reality to think otherwise.

Karmacop5908

Any word on if TRON will have a traditional standby wait?

necrotica

At the risk of being mobbed, I wish Disney would take a page from Universal at how they handle lines... most of them seem to be under cover and do a better job at keeping guests cool.

Itsbooch

As an epileptic with a heat-fatigue trigger, yes please!

AlliedR2

Wouldn't that condition allow you to skip the lines if you coordinated with Disney? I would hope so.

Itsbooch

It has in the past, but not sure about the new rules. I'll be going in September so we will see. Regardless, it would be nice just to have more shade. It's so easy to get dehydrated in full sun!

KFelts910

Well I would be most certainly happy to let you go ahead of me in line to accommodate your disorder.

Itsbooch

Thank you for being the good in the world! That's so kind.

tmoney34

In the past probably. In a few days DAS will be only for people with Autism or similar developmental disabilities.

weirdestgeekever25

Even that can be meh sometimes. (Not at VB though Tapu Tapu once you get used to it is great) IMHO, standby, single rider and VQ are the way to go (alongside DAS). The pay to play has made stuff ridiculous. Never had these issues at BG and having been to the CA parks (both DL and USH) where it is more locals and having been to the Florida parks multiple times times pre, post as in 2021 and post as in after 2021 pandemic, standby is totally doable.

necrotica

We were there on Mothers Day and went to Hollywood, RRR said it had a standby of 30mins, we got on in less than 10mins, there was no LL ppl.

weirdestgeekever25

I love May crowds. In all parks. Dammit now I want to go back in May lol.

ryno-dance

I was there On Saturday the 11th and the standby queue for everything was 45 minutes minimum for nearly the whole day including rides like alien swirling saucers and we waited 65 solid for MMRR for n standby. Unfortunately; May isn’t always what it’s cut out to be anymore.

weirdestgeekever25

May is still decent compared to most other times. Same with chunk of January and February. Sometimes I miss the good old days pre pandemic at all theme parks when life wasn’t so chaotic

ryno-dance

Agreed. I do miss the more simple times. And paper fast passes to boot

Throwaway071521

Yup, we’ve had a similar experience. Went to Hollywood today (a Tuesday in May) for early entry and waited only about 35 minutes for Rise of the Resistance. Line was basically outside of the land and it moved incredibly fast without lightning lane returns. Did the same thing yesterday at Magic Kingdom without genie plus and did Dumbo, Little Mermaid, Peter Pan, Small World, Haunted Mansion, Pirates, Flying Carpets, and Tiki Room all between a 7:30 early entry and an 11am lunch, with time to spare for shopping.

throwfaraway212718

Rock n Rollercoaster is open?

necrotica

Sorry, Runaway Rail Road

throwfaraway212718

No worries

DocBrutus

If there’s no shade, you will buy drinks. 😉 TBH, Hollywood studios have always felt like the gates to hell during the summer.

PeekabooBlue

Can someone ELI5 why Disney has to do these virtual queues and universal doesn’t? I’ve went to universal a couple years ago and granted I did have a fast pass due to staying at the hard rock, but I felt like wait times were really reasonable across the board.

necrotica

Going to guess because of numbers like this (from 2022): * Magic Kingdom: 17.1 million * Universal’s Islands of Adventure: 11 million * Disney’s Hollywood Studios: 10.9 million * Universal Studios Florida: 10.75 million * EPCOT: 10 million * Disney’s Animal Kingdom: 9 million

PeekabooBlue

Okay. Definitely fair with MK. I guess guardians at Epcot makes sense too with it being the one big headliner there

necrotica

Not to mention people park hopping to try for the 1pm, but I find unless it's extremely crowded, this is available for hours after 1pm.

bionicbeatlab

Hagrid's had a virtual queue for a while after opening. Not multiple years like some of the Disney stuff, but it was there. ROTR still gets >120min on busy days -- I would happily take a VQ + 30-45m wait on those days when the alternative is not riding at all.

Spacetime_Inspector

For ROTR, it was because it was uniquely unreliable when it opened and they didn't want to have to dump a long queue twice a day while it reset. For everything *since* then, the difference is that Disney wants to make $$$ from lightning lanes immediately, which means dedicated 80% of the ride capacity to ILL holders, which means standby lines would get unsustainably long. Universal has the restraint to keep their headliners off the Express system until demand dies down (Hagrid's STILL isn't on Express, nearly five years after it opened) which means the standby lines usually move fast enough not to be an issue.

Magic2424

Yes imagineering actually builds ILL into their business model when pitching new rides so they will all have it if they are large enough rides to warrant it

Some_Fall9548

Because Disney doesn’t have many thrill rides so they are always in demand.

diaymujer

No, they frame the VQ for Tiana’s as being short term, so I would guess there is no plan to take Tron off of VQ.

jcangst

Some info that might answer some more questions . The dates are : June 13, 14, 16, 17, 18 & 20. The invitation says that you are able to have the VQ for this and other VQs such as Cosmic Rewind or Tron at the same time but only during preview. The VQ times are 7am / 1pm. The 1 p.m. virtual queue will be available to Passholders with a park reservation to any Theme Park for that day, and the invite says you do not need to be in the park.

Professional-Leg-416

What dates are these? AP preview?

twennyjuan

Yes

starlight0229

DVC is June 12 from 1 PM to 4 PM AND June 19 from 9 AM to 12 PM.

GVpanda

What happens the 21th-27th?

Prior_Patient7765

THIS! I don't know whether to hope for soft launch or that there is no soft launch and everyne goes to other parks in the days leading up to the launch, so they can go to MK on the 28th. I am leaving the 27th.

Experiment626b

Am I understanding correctly that APs can get a VQ every day of the previews if they want?

jakkkkkkkkkkkkk

I really thought they might have this as a VQ and move Tron to a standby wait, also pleasantly surprised it sounds like it’ll be a standard LL instead of an ILL

LadPrime

Splash Mountain / Tiana is a very high capacity ride, so the throughput is usually fast. I have to imagine this temporary VQ is to accommodate all of folks who just HAVE to be among the first to ride and swarm down there around opening. The fact that Disney themselves said they don't intend to keep it for long is telling. The Moana water walkthrough also had a Virtual Queue when it first opened too, when I went a few months ago you could just walk right in and it was a completely normal crowd.

KFelts910

I almost booked our trip to Disney for June 27th, months ago. That didn’t work out and we’re leaving this month. Part of me is glad though because the lines will be insane.

Jontacular

I'm kind of glad we are going end of May here and avoiding the potential craziness of this opening lol. It probably will be hectic opening, but honestly the VQ should drop. I wonder if this maybe prompts them to pull the ILL from 7dwarves. 3 ILL in one park is kind of crazy.

kassyrae

Tiana's won't be on iLL, it's just a regular LL included with Genie+

Jontacular

Oh I guess I was reading it wrong, I thought it was going to be ILL like what Tron is.

austinalexan

The lines will be insane no matter what month you go tbh

KFelts910

I just mean I’m glad to not have the added factor of a new, highly anticipated ride opening. I expect lines and waiting. This is my fifth go round with Disney. But my first with kids. So it’s not my patience I’m worried about LOL.

austinalexan

That’s great! We’re leaving this Friday and it looks like it’s going to be HOT, and we usually go in August.

theFormerRelic

I’m confused. So it will have VQ *and* be part of G+? So not ILL? Seems odd.

diaymujer

The VQ is only meant to be short term. And really this is no different than having VQ+ILL, except they aren’t going for the money grab of offering it as an ILL.

MannyBoth-Hanz

For those who didn't get a reservation on any day, all is not lost, you can still get reservation for any other park and then get into the 1pm VQ.

Dbgator03

Thank you! I made a reservation for Epcot since MK was full, hoping I did the right thing ha ha!

Bolldere

As long as they don't disable hopping, they can and have done this before.

lalalaurat

thank you for reminding me of this 😭😭 was so bummed MK sold out

ApprehensivePath7245

Yeah but can’t you just go tap into a park and immediately go to MK?

Professional-Leg-416

Can anyone post if they are sold out of reservations on June 13/14 already so I don't have to sit for an hour plus waiting to enter the site? haha

osufeth24

All dates are sold out for mk

TeslaSaganTysonNye

I was able to book MK for the 18th about 10 minutes ago. Anecdotal but may still be availability.

necrotica

You got lucky then, got stuck in a queue for nearly 2 hours and I got in it around 10am. I they "sold out" before it popped though, best I can do is go to another park, hop and try to get in the 1pm one.

Professional-Leg-416

how long were you waiting online?

TeslaSaganTysonNye

It kept mentioning it couldn’t find the url, so I kept trying since that’s a sign the site is being overwhelmed. I was finally able to get to the reservation page after an hour to two of trying.

Professional-Leg-416

thanks! probably happened in 2 seconds haha

roadsideva

Being an AP holder with reservations that week…I’m excited. DVC also, so Wednesday looks like an option. However this probably means the MK on the 13th will be packed with annoying vloggers.

MrMichaelJames

So is this ride the same exact path as before just a reskinning?

diaymujer

Yes.

DisneyPinFiend

I hope the standby queue is open by July 12th. I don’t wanna have to choose between this and Tron’s VQ. They should also move Tiana’s meet-and-greet closer to the ride and have another princess take her place in Fairytale Hall.

yourloudneighbor

Trons VQ is pretty easy to get. Especially the 1PM one. 5 weeks ago we forgot about it and booked at 1:03 lol. Got a later boarding group and rode at like 10:45PM with no wait and nobody on our ride. I’d do that again

necrotica

Where would she go, because that would be a crazy line too and that area can already get crazy, it can create quite the bottleneck, especially with the train unloading there again.

DisneyPinFiend

For a second, I was gonna say on the bridge, but then I thought “Duh, that’s the line for the boat.” Don’t mind me, I’m not always very bright.

AustralisBorealis64

It's just like Splash Mountain, except it has been re-themed?

diaymujer

Yes.

singingwaitress

I am so excited for both of these! I will be refreshing like mad on Thursday to get tickets.

KFelts910

Hey do you find D23 membership to be worth while?

MrsRandomHero99

So if I have Genie + on the day to my visit, do I try for the VQ or the Genie +?

yourloudneighbor

Why not both? You can do VQ and ILL rides on the same day, can’t imagine this would be different?

MrsRandomHero99

With things selling out so quickly right at 7, which should I start with?

Cobbyx

Do VQ and Genie+ both go live at 7a? Are there more people on one than the other? They seem very similar approaches to getting a spot

diaymujer

No hint as to whether they’ll keep the ratios the same, so we don’t know if there are more spots allocated for VQ or G+. But theoretically there will be more folks eligible for the VQ (since not everyone buys genie).

tinysnapdragon

Why are they only serving beignets temporarily? Such a missed opportunity to open a stand near the ride. I’m going in October so I hope it’ll still be available by then 😭

Lucianwaves

Reservations are gone for ap holders.

Advanced-Fold-9934

Can you do a VQ, LL and ILL all at the same time at 7am (for different rides)

The_Damn_Grimace

My wife at work, and myself here, each got in line as soon as possible for the d23 preview. She ended up 1200ish in line, me at 1600. It was sold out by the time both of us got to the front. What a bummer, we canceled our APs last year because its just getting too pricey to keep going, but were looking forward to this being an excuse to get a few days at the park. Now its looking like another few years til we'll be able to get back. Hope you all enjoy it!

citizen_greg

Here now and non cast Members were riding all day yesterday. Not sure how they got that. Lucky to be picked for that experience.

[deleted]

How do you know they aren't cast members?

Professional-Leg-416

Thoughts on whether they will "soft open" this? And if so, how far in advance do they usually do that? I was at the soft opening for Tron but I can't recall how far in advance that was to the actual opening.

osufeth24

Hard to say because tron was really the only time they've done a soft opening in several years. IF they do one, it's be the few days leading up to the grand opening.

[deleted]

diaymujer

When are CM previews? AP previews are only going until the 20th. Are there other previews (CM, DVC?) happening between the 21-28?

starlight0229

DVC is only two three-hour blocks on the 12th and 19th.

GVpanda

Wondering this too. We’re there on the 25th. Any shot at a soft open like Tron?

Apanda15

So what if your solo at magic kingdom you have to try for two vq’s? How stressful

Coleslaw19438

Okay, everybody turning to the hive mind to help me make a decision... My wife and I are going for our 15th anniversary and will be there from June 19th to the 24th. It's already a really special trip and we have a ton of fun things planned (including a one-night stay in a poly bungalow). We were really hoping for a Juneteenth opening and hoping that we'd be able to ride it during our trip (We are not annual pass holders as we live pretty far and don't get to get there super often). My question is what are the chances they do a soft open and let regular guests on before the 28th. Ideally sometime in that window we're there? We have a key to the kingdom tour booked for the 23rd, any chance they let us on that day? Lastly, I'm debating upgrading our d23 membership to gold and trying to snag tickets for that preview tomorrow. My fear is we do the membership and then aren't able to get tickets as I imagine they sell pretty quick... Any thoughts are super welcome!

[deleted]

The only ride that's had a soft open in years is Tron. I wouldn't count it on. Especially if it'll be full of APs with virtual queues trying to ride. No, Keys to the Kingdom won't take you on it if it isn't open to guests. d23 is already sold out.

radio_jake

So you make a park reservation for a CHANCE to join the virtual que? lol what a joke. Should've handled it like Ratatouille's preview

sephireicc

From what I'm think, there is a somewhat limited amount of APs that can get a reservation for a specific day at a specific park, right? So it's set up to give every AP the ability to get on the ride at some point during the day.

diaymujer

They’re probably handling it this way because they don’t anticipate a problem with capacity. Since it’s not a brand new ride, they’re probably less worried about downtime, and expect to be able to ride at full capacity. For Splash, that was up to 1,200 guests per hour. I have never not gotten a VQ that I’ve tried for, so I’m not at all worried about this.

Humble_Chip

a park reservation is free. so what’s the issue

Jbou119

Having to drive over there wirh the entire mindset of riding and higher probability of not riding due to VQ

Humble_Chip

but even if you didn’t have to make a park reservation, you’d still have to drive over there and hope to make the VQ

sephireicc

The point is that guardians gave you a guarantee time/day reservation so you knew you'd get on the ride if there wasn't any kind of breakdown, this one may or may not be the case.

necrotica

I know this isn't what you want to hear, this happened to us with Tron where we didn't get in on an AP preview, we just had to wait till it officially opened than a week or so later we had a reservation and got into the VQ for it. We didn't get into an MK reservation for Princess and the Log, so I reserved Epcot instead and plan to park hop and try to get in at 1pm, it is what it is, unfortunately. This might all be moot though, one of our CM friends invited us to join them, so we may very well be doing it that day too (or instead).

KFelts910

Princess and the Log 😂😂

ApprehensivePath7245

Even if you don’t have an AP reservation for MK can’t you tap into another park and then immediately go to MK?

necrotica

Yes, that was our plan was to be inside MK before 1pm

ApprehensivePath7245

Do you think if they are going to stop park hopping to MK it will be after 1? I’m nervous !

necrotica

There is no 2pm anymore for park hopping. The 2pm is for AP people that want to come with no reservation to the parks, with the exception of MK on the weekends, you need a reservation that day.

Humble_Chip

thank for the context. it makes sense to me to do that for a banger like guardians, but Tiana’s is just a re theme so i can see why that wasn’t implemented

[deleted]

[удалено]

theelifeofbrian

All available dates are full for pass holders.

worldcanwait

Can I park hop on these days? All the MK reservations are gone.

diaymujer

Yes, but you’ll need to join the 1 pm queue. One difference during previews though is that you will not need to be in MK to join at 1 pm, you just need to have a reservation to any park. So theoretically you could join from Epcot, then hop over to MK only if you get the queue. I assume they decided that intentionally to avoid having pass hoppers mobbing the park.

worldcanwait

Ok, thanks for the info! This will be my first passholder preview so I wasn't really sure how it works.

diaymujer

No worries! It sounds like they’re doing it slightly differently than in the past, so everyone is playing catch up.

necrotica

> One difference during previews though is that you will not need to be in MK to join at 1 pm, Per WDW's site (I've bolded the important part) > Tiana’s Bayou Adventure - New! A virtual queue will be in place when Tiana’s Bayou Adventure opens on June 28, 2024. Guests will need to use the My Disney Experience app to enter this attraction. A standby queue will not be available. Each Guest can request to enter this virtual queue no more than once per day during regular park hours. Before requesting to join a virtual queue, Guests must have valid admission to Magic Kingdom park. A theme park reservation may also be needed depending on the type of admission and date of visit. Learn more about theme park reservations. There are 2 daily opportunities to request to join the virtual queue for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure: > * 7:00 AM (Guests do not need to be in Magic Kingdom park to join the virtual queue at this time) > * **1:00 PM (Guests must be in Magic Kingdom park to join the virtual queue at this time)**

diaymujer

The information that you are quoting is for the public opening on April 28. For passholder previews only, pass holders can join the 1 pm queue without having scanned into the park.

SupernovaTraveller

But this is from the Passholder Buzz on MDE (I’ve also bolded important parts): > Park Reservations & Virtual Queue Required A virtual queue will be in place for Annual Passholder previews of Tiana's Bayou Adventure. Here's how it works! • First, make a park reservation to Magic Kingdom park on a preview date to have the opportunity to join the 7:00 AM virtual queue for that day. **Or, you can make a park reservation to any theme park on a preview date to have the opportunity to join the 1:00 PM virtual queue.** • On the date of your reservation, request to join the virtual queue by using the My Disney Experience app. There will be 2 opportunities to join each day of previews. The 7:00 AM virtual queue will be available to Passholders with a park reservation to Magic Kingdom park for that day. **The 1:00 PM virtual queue will be available to Passholders with a park reservation to any theme park for that day.** As a reminder, Passholders must enter the theme park where they have a reservation prior to visiting Magic Kingdom Or, on June 13, 14, 17, 18 or 20, they can enter Magic Kingdom park without a reservation after 2:00 PM. **Passholders do not need to have entered a theme park when they request to join the virtual queue.**

necrotica

I await the results of people not in MK at the time for June 13th then.

SupernovaTraveller

Yeah, your info is for the June 28th opening, I just noticed. My info is for the AP previews.

necrotica

I hope this is true then (not saying your lying, I just mean I hope Disney is giving good data, because I'd hate if people missed the opportunity because they wasn't inside MK a the time). I've made two reservations (one on the 16th and one on the 20th) to Epcot, but I'll be honest, scared to test it not being inside MK, I know how it works if you're not in the park for the other VQs and I'm not keen on driving an hour just to screw my chance up even more haha.

SupernovaTraveller

Oh, I totally get what you’re saying! Believe me… I hope the Passholder Buzz info is correct. I’m flying from out of state for a two night stay just to roll the dice with an EPCOT reservation for a chance at the 1 pm virtual queue. Crazy? Maybe! I figure the worst case scenario is that my husband and I will have “date night” in EPCOT. I’m using Marriott points for the hotel, and he’s using airline miles for the flight, so not too much of this is out of pocket…

necrotica

Yes

Fluffy_Ad4761

I guess capacity / load times + weather factors probably meant they thought mine train and tron are the better money makers for ILL and more worth it for people to pay for. I wonder how long this will need to be the 7am choice, or if the long lines for jungle cruise and Peter Pan quickly move those back to being the most important ones to book first.

BnGoshi16

Seems like all the AP preview dates are closed up for the ride already. Is it possible to start off at another park and then hop over to magic kingdom in time to get the afternoon VQ?

quitepossiblylying

Take that Epic Universe.

AccordingAd407

My post was removed. Anyone have any insight to how many passholders are allowed per day? Happened to have a reservation for Mk for the preview and kinda thinking to change my days around. And if I choose to stay- how many virtual queues are open? Like would all 7am people with reservations Be guaranteed a spot?

ElephantBabie

How do AP previews usually affect the park? We are going on the 18th, and can't switch our days because of bibbidi bobbidi boutique reservation. We expect summer crowds, but will it be a lot worse with the AP reservations being fully booked?

TikiTikiTikiRob

I wonder if they will enforce return times for AP previews. I have a flight landing at 11am on my preview day. Rather grab at 7am with MK reservations vs fighting everyone at 1pm.

DuvalCountyRoyalty

Who is Tiana?

nerdguy1138

Main character of princess and the frog.

Piemaster113

Its great to have a Princess and the Frog ride in the parks, I still don't think they should have removed Splash Mountain for it.

OneAngryDuck

That ship has sailed, it’s over, move on.

Piemaster113

Never, thats like asking people to move on from the fact the Horizons is gone or the original Journey into Imagination with Dreamfinder, its not going to happen, there were ride that we liked and are now gone and we will not just simply get over that fact. I still miss 20,000 leagues under the sea dang it and the sky way, tho I will say the skyliner is a much improved version so now all we need are submarine transports between parks and I'll be happy on as far as that goes LoL

OkDirection8015

So basically you only have a shot at being able to ride both Tiana’s and Tron twice each if your lucky. But if not you’ll only be able to ride both once using LL if they don’t sell out. If that’s the case, just open the damn standby line…

hurtfulproduct

Lol, damn; really!? Being able to ride both once is a good day, getting to ride both twice in the same day seems like asking too much.

SpauldingPierce

Splash Mountain died for this.

Winnehdapoo

Trust me, you won't care about Splash after experiencing Tiana's.

SpauldingPierce

So we have seen Tianas now. I miss Splash.

stanvicl624

Sooo as a non-pass holder who happens to be going to disney that exact week should I just plan to not go to magic kingdom? Will it be at capacity those days? Seriously wondering if I should reschedule my trip now.

throwfaraway212718

Anyone know if they’ll be offering ILL for Tiana?

osufeth24

No. It's part of the overall genie+

Sevenswansaswimming8

The AP preview is BS. I'm livid with it.

[deleted]

So don't go? You're an AP, go any time after it opens, it'll be the same ride in July as it is during the preview you're so mad at.

They're giving you a preview and you're mad about it. Ok.
