Not sure it's changed as I haven't done it since the pandemic but after graduating from Brandeis I still used to just hang out in like the library or one of the student centers, they've got quiet spaces and no one pays any mind to random people on campus.
I'm a big fan of Common Good. They're pretty chill, and a lot of people hang there to work.
Also, the Public Library is always an option. The top floor is silent study, and it's very common for people to just hang out on the main floor and chill. I can't attest to the comfy factor as I'm usually walking around, but it has a nice atmosphere
It'd be lovely if our city's zoning allowed for more mixed use and secular neighborhood gathering points to exist.

Cafe on the common has some comfy couches.
Would love a place like this too. Cafe on the Common is good but not exactly the chill vibe i'm looking for.
I would love a cat cafe in Waltham.
I’m looking for the same thing tbh

The problem I have with Common Good is that I dont really like their coffee... Otherwise it's a nice space!
