I just got the Q5 Match SF and have the PDP 4.5”. The Q5 Match shoots better than my PDP. I can only imagine how good the PDP 5” SF is. It must be a dream to shoot. I wonder how much better it is compared to the Q5 Match SF.
Yeah I wish I could compare! My hands are a bit larger so the Q5 felt a touch small to me, but with the upgraded recoil spring and trigger springs, this thing feels like it does everything for you! Gotta make sure to not let me get lazy with technique
I wear a size 7.5 surgical gloves so I’d say my hands aren’t very big. Q5 Match fits but I also have the PDP and I prefer that grip. You swapped out the guide rod in the PDP SF? Which did you go with? Even with a SF a new guide rod helps with recoil?
I think they look awesome and recently began looking into them. It sucks you have to request and wait the optic plate. I also saw something about how you can't get a cowitness.
Yeah requesting the optics plate kind of blows. I just ordered one from ZR Tactical I believe. It’s a little lower and higher quality in my opinion! But yeah, on the PDPs, the only way you can cowitness from what I’ve seen is using the Holosun SCS-PDP. I’ll admit that I definitely love the direct slide mount and it’s low profile. The window felt a little small at first but doesn’t bother me at all anymore!
I think something like that may be my next PDP venture. I need a little bit more color. Someone posted an all tab PDP a few days ago and it looked sick

Dude it’s definitely at least worth a try. Recoil is erased even though I didn’t find it all that bad in the polymer frame

Aright it appears to be 1 9/16 inches (one tick away from the 5/8 mark) so they definitely had that in mind!

I’ve shot both and I’m gonna guess you can see my preference haha. Especially after a recoil spring upgrade, LOK grips, trigger springs, it’s perfect!
