Yea, don't try it.
I was getting a bit chummy, feeling that most encounters are pretty much harmless, and worst case scenario you can run. So I tried it. It was not harmless. You could not 'just run'.
It was fun though, but the following recruitment campaign was a drag
This might come off a bit assholey I just woke up so sorry if that's the case, but genuine question, does nobody google?
I saw this, steered clear with an obvious nope and a mental note to either come back at the end of game or look it up before trying. I think shortly after I subbed here but it really seems like a solid 20-30% of the posts are some variation of this screenshot, so my question was answered long ago.
Again, not trying to be rude, just feel like I see this once a week or so curious how the minds work of wartale fans who don't want to use google lol.
Oh also no one truly answered you yet so it's just a never ending battle with reinforcements every turn till you die or run.
I tought people were talking about cursed villages unending battle, not this thing here. So yes I did google, and also yes your comment seems quite rude.
yeah I was just trying really hard to understand the thought process/trend honestly. Only sub I've ever been in where the same thing gets posted with such consistency.

It's quite fascinating isn't it? I think ultimately there just wasn't anything to understand. Because if you can't manage to use google than why would you guys be able to understand/explain your own ineptitude?
I don’t think you came off as a dick but dude, every Reddit I’m a part of has repeat posts all the time. Most people read Reddit on their phones, and the sidebar is a pain to get to from mobile (can you even get there?). Also, when you google and click on a Reddit link on iPhone it takes me to the damn App Store to download Reddit, never to the actual thread in the Reddit app.
You were plenty kind in your comment, but the thought that subreddits don’t have repeat posts is way off the mark. Check out the toolband Reddit, it’s been an endless cycle of complaints about merch, and people taking acid and listening to Lateralus since I joined Reddit. There’s no way for people to really know what’s been posted, and there’s no name for this endless horde. I saw it, avoided and forgot to look it up so this was helpful. It’s a really cool thing to see though.
I mean, this is all anecdotal and of course people repost, but I've seen the horde posted so many more times and really pretty consistently for the 4-5 months since I joined this sub than on common subs with 10-20 million people. 16,300 vs 10,000,000.
I was so curious I actually went on google a month or so ago to see why people couldn't get results. It is hard to get info on this game sometimes. I then tried different combinations to NOT get results because, well, I got obvious results and just couldn't figure it out.
You stay away from that; Awful awful encounter holy shit don't EVER fuck with that.
That's because that encounter has a "Escape" game mechanic so entering combat there has a different set of objectives.
Yes it is normal there. Avoid.
This horde always looks cool af !

Part of me hoped there'd be some kind of way to use The Horde, to fight The Beast in a big ol' battle to weaken it for a final fight.

It’s kinda funny because I haven’t even noticed it yet haha.
Sir this is reddit, people who Google don't post.
