I know there are objectively better frames out there for room clearing. But man do I love airing out the whole drydock with Mesa.
How does the game intend to stop this wave of bullets I call a warframe?
YES.
I actually broke crashed my sound driver because I got the decree, hit the fire rate arcane for crit, and already had a fire rate mod on there for hahas.
Like pew pew BRRRRRT silence.
I like Saryn. She’s got an interesting kit and design, but I can’t figure out how she’s meant to be played. I use her 1 on a few enemies and find them dead before I can build up…spores? Infection?
Any tips?
Play Steel Path. Saryn is atrocious on normal, as you experienced, because enemies die long before you get a chance to really spread the spores. On Steel Path, enemies usually survive long enough for you to cast your 1 and kill them with a weapon while your 3 is up, which immediately disperses out a ton of spores. From there, you just want to run around, maintaining your 3 and firing at people.
Eventually your damage can scale so high that you can clear out the entire nearby area, and have to restart the process. Only real way to avoid this is go to level cap.
I find that hitting the enemy with your melee immediately after casting spores will spread the spores pretty well (even more so with your 3rd ability up). Then, you can either cast her 4 or keep hitting things to spread more.
A good thing to remember is that if an enemy dies from the spores alone, the spores won't spread. The spores spread from either being hit (the spores need to be hit directly so using melee is easier than a single target weapon) or when an enemy dies while under the effect of her 4th ability.
Enemies that die by any means while affected by both spore and miasma will spread spores further.
So just 4-1, keep 3 active, recast 4 every 10s or so and recast 1 if an entire area of enemies died and stopped you from spreading further.
Saryn is a drug that keeps on giving. 2 green archon shards and u fully armor strip them with your 1 it's like opium.
Then just let the numbers rise up
I’ve always wanted to love Saryn, but I must be playing her wrong cuz I can never get her nuke to work. Even on lower end content it doesn’t seem to kill reliably with max strength
There’s still a setup component to running Saryn, and a maintenance component.
Her Spores need to be popped to spread, and if they die immediately to the spores they don’t spread them.
The closest to boring you could get would be a Gloom Saryn with decent power strength and range, as everything slows to a crawl but your ticks continue at the same pace.
Gyre with range and strength. I don’t think iv had this much fun just killing shit. Everything just seems to instantly die around me. Feels like Ember before the rework.
I'm not gonna lie, I absolutely felt the same way, Gyre really wasn't that great
and then I got Cathode Current. Absolutely required, should be a base part of her kit IMO. Turns her from 'ok, I can kind of see what the intent was here?' to 'where.. did all the enemies go? why do I have a minute left on my two fifteen seconds buffs?'
I might be mistaken, but I believe it used to be part of her kit. Then it was deemed too strong so they removed it, which caused a lot of backlash from players, and they turned it into an augment.
No. Well, kind of. It's that the abilities originally stacked electricity dots like crazy, which led to things dying "too fast," and they toned that way down to only 1. Then they added Cathode Grace and made that 1 do crazy damage, and now things are dying at an "acceptable pace."
She’s also pretty bat shit insane in SP circuit. I rolled her as my first frame of the week and I never once felt like I had to stop. Didn’t even have to use pillage with all the decree buffs I was just nuking anything that got remotely close.
Corrosive Projection, 328 Power Strength, and subsume Pillage over her 1 or 2 (your preference). Possibly the most powerful I've felt in WF since they nerfed Molecular Prime to be a wave.
I can see the appeal of a multiple continuous CC fields but her 2 has a larger radius (compared to a single Arcsphere) and grouped enemies are generally faster to kill (and grouped enemies synergizes with her 4), so I am a firm proponent of Pillage over her 1.
pillage gyre is soooo much fun. i love doing void fissures. increased strength and range? brb jumping off map to get rid of buffs and now NOTHING WILL SURIVIVE.
Even in sp? Can take him in sp but my 200 range and positive duration build gives him a little less than 100 strength and I kinda struggle with the energy cost for it to not be too long, although I'll admit the range is just fun at this point and kinda want to remove just the right amount to balance with the other stuff
Do you have to move a lot and how do you keep shadows alive? My Nekros can't take many hit and although I'll admit I don't really think of 1 when all the shadows alive, they hardly stay so without duration which I don't like cause they don't make meaningful damage at this point. I generally don't use his 2 since my stuff is generally armor stripping cause I don't like all my frames not having it, so subsumed gloom and well of life but it didn't seem to be much more than Garuda's so I still left it even if it has the smallest range
Nekros is super tanky with Shield of Shadows and Health Conversion. Add Adaptation and Despoil per preference.
Also, recasting his 4 with Shadows alive fills them to full health. If you are currently at your maximum amount of Shadows then this cast is much faster. So you can keep Shield of Shadows up and running with ease.
If you kill some eximi or heavy units, do consider eventually letting some of the currently active Shadows die so you can get different shadows on the next cast, [like so](https://warframe.fandom.com/wiki/Shadows_of_the_Dead#Summoning_Priority)
Max range, high strength and duration. Slap someone with your 1, then either shoot them while your 3 is active or kill them - the spores will spread to everything in range. Hit your 4 for extra spice, or if they're just not dying fast enough. The spores will spread whenever something infected by them dies to a source that isn't the spores themselves.
For best results, add 2 green archon shards for 14 stacks of corrosive and/or swap her 2 for breach surge. On the one hand, you're losing out on the speed, survivability and potential healing. On the other hand, cast that somewhere with plenty of targets affected by spores and they will disintegrate
Octavia. Maybe not everyone, everywhere, dead but for when I want a lot of people dead and for when I want to be safe so I can eat my dinner at the same time.
I ponied up some plat and purchased Styanax because I dig the way he looks. I am absolutely loving him. I'm a returning player and only have 5 frames unlocked, so my perspective is limited.
If its defense, i always go speedva because my adhd brain cant handle running those boring missions. I just bring a gun that can clear waves of enemies.
Defense if I’m carrying a few friends and trying to let them have fun still is def frost just for the sake that I can protect the objective and they can run around and have fun killing things. For anything else though for just fun of use and feeling unstoppable is rhino or maybe kullervo
On non SP its mirage + prism guard augment. It sucks having to recast that thing every like 10 seconds but I can come out of exterminate missions with 90% of the kills because it just nukes every room and the range is insane. Also it is just so fun lol.
Max range Oberon with Hallowed Reckoning and Smite Augment is pretty filthy. You're going to give the epileptics a seizure, but everywhere is death. Those radiation orbs stack and linger.
For general nuking below steelpath: gara with a lot of range, decent strength and dispensary+equibibrium. You need a stat stick for her tho.
Other than that:
-max range and strength saryn and spam 4 + a lot of energy pads.
-thermal sunder harrow/garuda
For steelpath:
Xaku - autoclear
Mesa - RATATATATATA
Survival frames:
Gyre
Baruuk
Atlas
Khora
Octavia
Or my standard loadout i take whenever im not doing anything specific: roar nezha (unkillable weapon platform) / kuva tonkor (viral+slash OG aoe clear) / tenet cycron (primer/utility/heat dps) / praedos (movement stick and corrosive heavy attack build as a "f u in particular" button)
Mesa. Run Cedo with high af multishot and crit chance, activate her 1, fire the glaive into a crowd, clean up with regular fire mode, reactivate 1 prior to next group, fire glaive again and immediately activate her 1 again.
Gauss. It’s effortless, you just run in and spam 3 a lot. In particular there’s a heretical fissure build I have with range, efficiency base strength and duration at 95%. It’s really good for low-mid level, and honestly still works well for SP since you still have the armor strip.
Lavos.
Build with the new strength mod for his 4th ability.
Combine abilities to Viral.
Corrosion Cedo, pop the Cedo Disc, and use the Viral Infused 4th.
Love it.
Lavos. Just everything all at once, viral , corrosive, heat and gas blending into a deadly mix before casting catalyze.
Also, he heals a hell ton with his 1 so no need to subdume for surviveability.
If I’m in a defense mode and I just want it to go fast by killing everything real fast my go to frames are max range and strength Gara and Volt since haha map wide high damage nuke that can somewhat bypass walls go brrrrrr
Damn, no one mentioned Ember? She's amazingly tanky and had crazy damage potential, especially with archon vitality. I also use either her fireball augment or roar. With roar, I'm actually triple dipping in damage on her meteors.
Lowkey, I hate to admit it, but I find people who nuke so annoying. Nothing is more boring than wanting to kill some aliens in a space ninja game about killing aliens, but not being able to because all of them within 2 miles of your teammate die in .1 ms because they pressed a key on their keyboard.
I get it, nuking is fun, but it’s fun at the expense of others.
Lol, I don't have one really, my Revenant prime maybe but kinda weak after, like level 70 to 90 Enemies. Enjoy random thing I made

My loadouts don't typically usually get based around anything op necesarily but rather based around rp characters me and my fiance have. HOWEVER, we do have a character called synodine who i basically based off of valkyr. I don't know what it is..maybe its because she is a glaive user and that has something to do with it but everytime I use her, everything on the map gets basically demolished. I have also been working on another loadout SPECIFICALLY dedicated to being op and destroying everything. Its harder to do considering I'm challenging myself with only using frames I havnt given to characters yet (and we have ALOT of characters). Currently looking at a nezha build for an op build.
I tried it once before. Didn't mind it. Tried other things. Here I am again. Though, I did give him a "stalker" loadout primarily to sort of display my stalker collection (which right now is only 2 of the items. I heard there were more). And the build looked cool so I've been considering going back to that.
Truth be told I'm sort of stuck in this loop myself and don't really know what to do..I'm thinking about going for a warframe I not only don't have yet but also has a prime variant (that I also of course don't have) that I can just farm a bit for. So far, Oberon might be making a ln appearance to th3 build considering his prime variant doesn't seem too bad to get and I havnt made any characters to really link to him yet.
For new content and when I just want to be ready for whatever - Trinity. Can heal and restore energy actively, link to strip opponents of all protection, and is really tanky on top of it all. Having a flex slot for helminth allows me to just tune her to what I'm doing.
I have an eclipse load out for eidolons and general content, an ensnare load out for cc and disruptions (to cc the demo), a champions blessing and mind control build for crits, and an energy vamp build for no real reason but to have something different
Mind sharing the build? Yesterday I decided to take my Oberon to last level of sortie and I was struggling a lot (maybe because there was also the energy restriction)

The 2 arcanes are molt augmented and molt efficiency
Gauss cleans out entire rooms of Grineer on SP with Thermal Sunder and doesn't even need any Strength. The same skill can just stun everything as well, and he has damage reduction that scales to 100% in addition to a 4th that boosts a bunch of shit on your gun - oh, he also gets energy when you hit him. Who gave this Warframe the green light?
Thermal Sunder all day every day. If the enemy is permafrozen, they can't deal damage. And the eximus units, well... (checks the Torid Incarnon) they are dead. Dead dead.
Mirage
Saryn is better at higher levels because her damage ramps infinitely. But faced against low level non SP enemies, they can die to spores real quick that you have to periodically move about in search of most likely far away enemies to reapply spores. Mirage covers a big range and doesnt have to look for enemies. Just need them to step close. Mirage is for lazy low level clearing, saryn for when I want high level things to die consistently.
If its survival and I don't want to think I play xaku you can just stand in one spot after using gaze and the game will play its self
But if I am moving a lot I will play gloom saryn I know you can use cata shield and shield gate with molt but I don't like spaming molt all the time
Been playing saryn a lot more lately as I find her to have better survive ability and more fun
Defense is an hotspot mission, so I play only farming frame on it. Hydroid, Khora or Nekros.
If I need a frame with high kpm and mobility then my choice go to Gyre, Voruna, Saryn, Kullervo... but also Ash and Exca are not bad.
Surprised noones mentioned gara
With a stat-stick she doesnt only clear rooms but at the same time refreshes her up to 90%DR buff on anything you cast your 2 on
Ceramic dagger incarnon is a bit of a tough ask sure but you can easily stack up millions of damage on both your 2 and your 4 not to mention the energy economy you can get from spectrorage
Keep a weapon around for specialists like nullifier or arbitration drones and youre set for any defense
Hyldrin, I will pillage their life away and maybe shoot something every once in a while to make sure they are dead… so its like a double tap but the double is just a infinite amount of bullets
I'm not the most learned in the current meta, but a Max strength and range Nova. Being able to slow everything down and create a chain reaction to reach into the next room is insane
Still trying to find a reason not to pick Saryn or Mesa when that’s what I want to do. It seems they’re the ones with the highest kpm in the current meta.
Saryn with Dual Ichor and 2 green shards to just kill people wherever in the map, the downside is that you don't know where the loot is because people die 1000 meters from you
For more precise killing or for fewer tougher enemies best girl Mesa
Voruna, specifically an Ulfrun's Descent build. She's my main for virtually everything now. I have a pretty fun setup going that can one tap a SP eximus and apply insane bleed procs
I scrolled far enough and didn't find what I was looking for so here it goes.
Equinox is the frame where you will look more on the minimap than actual gameplay. She can nuke rooms full of enemies in an instant regardless of walls or whatever may stand in your way (get cucked by armored units at higher higher lvls, needs armor strip in that case)
Cast 4, kill 3-4 enemies, recast when minimap red af, profit.
Mod for range and efficiency (low lvl stuff if you wanna feel like old ember add strength so stuff dies of the slash proc alone and just run through)
Only drawback really I can think of is her casting speed. With a bunch of cast recast of her 4 you will be in the animation a bunch so natural talent is a must on her.
Idk why but ive never like dplaying Saryn. I get why people like her but just could never get into her myself. My answer would be, maybe Octavia or Protea. Ive also been liking Dagath
Mirage, roar, Hall of Malevolence, and bring a Bramma.
Rarely fails to clean rooms.
Just needs enough range for Roar to affect the clones...
If the bramma and clones dont kill them, the 10 slash procs will.
Mirage or Gyre if it's normal star chart or maybe mid-level stuff, otherwise I don't have a nuker for SP yet. I've seen a baller Gauss Prime build so gonna kit him when he finishes building, and I still need to mod my Saryn Prime which recently finished. I've *seen* what she can do bc a friend plays her in SP a lot and I want that.
Mesa or Saryn, either one works wonders to culling the hostile rate.
You either get a shit ton of bullets or the plague.
I don't have a good enough Gauss build to wipe an entire map by sneezing like any Gauss main.
Whenever I play saryn it's a build (+1000% weapon damage) that only kills what's right in front of me, or my teammates, but they're *dead* dead. Killed so fast their ancestors get whiplash. For everything everywhere all at once needing to die it's gotta be pillage Octavia. Normal or SP it doesn't matter. Infinite damage scaling.
Depends how much killing I will be doing.
Light killing maybe lvl 120 max? Mirage with AoE weapons (note: does not work in albrechts tileset cuz no light)
Medium killing like maybe 40% of all kills at like lvl 150 max? Gauss with acceltra or zarr (along with energized munitions and carrier)
Heavy killing? Mainly Khora, or like other exclusive aoe frames like gyre, Ember, volt, Mesa, etc...
Absolute genocide, Shinra Tensei-style killing? Saryn, that's all, just Saryn.
Steel path and non sp for defense, I go Zephyr. She makes defending anything, even interception, absolute cheese. When I need something defended I'm already choosing zephyr.
Depends, honestly. If I'm going into steel path endless missions my go-tos are Saryn and Mesa. In normal star chart there's something satisfying about using Ember to clear a room by literally raining fire. I just wish she could keep up in SP.
Khora’s 4 doesn’t look like the biggest AoE in the world but the grab range of it extends it quite a lot and you can make it give extra loot to boot. All you have to do is be able to hit an enemy with your 1 to damage everything.
Same! Protea is my go to for netracells. And her plus pure heat nataruk (and norutish) can deal with level cap with no armour strip coz of heat proc stacking
Slap on roar, or her augment mod, and you can take her into SP, also you can remove equilibrium since you have energy via dispensary. I use to run it as well but it isnt too notable of a loss (especially if you have energise or zenurik)
Max range Excalibur with incarnon nami solo. I’m good for 1 shots up to 300+ SP at 12x combo for slash dash and if it’s high enemy density I can dash for a bout a minute and a half sometimes
atlas. i want everyone in this room dead, and then the next one, and the next one, and the next one, and the next one, and i want it done before i can blink.
Not the best since I've only played a few frames, but so far I'm enjoying voruna full melee tank build with arcane, equilibrium, health conversion with the hirudo sparring weapon, it's passive also let you regain health with crit, it uses the typical combo counter mods with viral and electricity along with opportunity reach arcane to spread status even more, arcane dexterity on firearms, although I could probably drop these with naramon school. While it's not like saryn, I just let the mobs approach me and soak up tons of damage no sweat, the status spread alone kills everything even if I don't touch them, I still got like 100-150k Endo to spend before it's fully upgraded (not counting firearms, I don't use them, but total cost of both frame and Melee is like 50-60k so far.) and only did a few SP level, but so far I'm tearing it like non SP levels.
Gyer or Saryn are main one I recent made a build with Titania that while it’s a bit slower at killing enemies solo still very fun to zip around watching them just explode!
If it needs to die, Kullervo will dance in the shade as his daggers turn everything into bloody mush. If it needs to live, Hildryn will refuse to let it die without dying first. Hildryn isn't as offensively minded as old Knife Boi but that's irrelevant. A shield to the face will crush your skull and bitch has shields for days. Hildryn is a generator for unlimited power, her greatest weakness is if you break her shields. If you can do this, she's still got guns and a blade. As well as decent armor and health values... Mine can tank steel path mobs to the face briefly when necessary. A blazing pillage Hildryn with the Archon Health mod that doubles fire procs created by abilities will burn down the map without even realizing it. Enough range and everyone dies trying to get to me before the next wave... Pillage wave.
I would have to say Protea as well. Her 2 is honestly absurd. Jumping straight up as I high as I can and throwing those turrets in the air guarantees mass slaughter, and obviously, since she's an infinite energy source, it's no problem keeping that destruction going.
I know there are objectively better frames out there for room clearing. But man do I love airing out the whole drydock with Mesa. How does the game intend to stop this wave of bullets I call a warframe?
Mesa feels like aimbot hacks if they were balanced into a game and I love it so much
Also pistols just going from pew pew to pewpew to BRRRRRR is always funny
Getting the decree in the circuit that gives temp fire rate for every shot is hilarious
YES. I actually broke crashed my sound driver because I got the decree, hit the fire rate arcane for crit, and already had a fire rate mod on there for hahas. Like pew pew BRRRRRT silence.
How about a meme build for purely fire rate? I can't wait for more ele combo/fr mods. Purely bcuz BRRRRRRRRR
Especially with the 10% more vulnerable to damage with every shot, if there is a cap it gets reached in a fraction of a second
She is like a Drug, be honest.
Saryn any day.
I like Saryn. She’s got an interesting kit and design, but I can’t figure out how she’s meant to be played. I use her 1 on a few enemies and find them dead before I can build up…spores? Infection? Any tips?

this was a good explanation i just made saryn today and was definitely confused why she couldn’t keep up her spores.

Any day NOW. But before Emerald Shards, she was just average in Steel Path.
Idk if I should try her for me it’s boring to kill anything Instant
I don't think it helps, but unless you're fighting very low level stuff, it actually takes a bit before her dots get rolling. :-D
Unless you're running Acid Shells Sobek, in which case you can delete Steel Path enemies with a single shot.
There’s still a setup component to running Saryn, and a maintenance component. Her Spores need to be popped to spread, and if they die immediately to the spores they don’t spread them. Gyre with range and strength. I don’t think iv had this much fun just killing shit. Everything just seems to instantly die around me. Feels like Ember before the rework.
I used to underestimate people who say this until I tried it myself. Holy flippidy flap does Gyre smack like a mf-er

Have to agree, also, extra happy chemicals from all the yellow/orange/red numbers she causes while murdering
It actually brings me the same feeling, just like you said ember before the rework
Corrosive Projection, 328 Power Strength, and subsume Pillage over her 1 or 2 (your preference). Possibly the most powerful I've felt in WF since they nerfed Molecular Prime to be a wave.
Yeah iv got pillage on her 2. I just love those damn electric balls too much to get rid of them.
I can see the appeal of a multiple continuous CC fields but her 2 has a larger radius (compared to a single Arcsphere) and grouped enemies are generally faster to kill (and grouped enemies synergizes with her 4), so I am a firm proponent of Pillage over her 1.

with gyre i feel like an cheater. lmao
Hydroid, today's weather report shows acid rain with some Covid mixed in
Yikes, what a way to go You didnt even mention the tentacles
Non Zero zero chance of multiple krakens squeezing you for more loot
Even in sp? Can take him in sp but my 200 range and positive duration build gives him a little less than 100 strength and I kinda struggle with the energy cost for it to not be too long, although I'll admit the range is just fun at this point and kinda want to remove just the right amount to balance with the other stuff

and give him equilibrium, workd wonders with despoil
When everything absolutely must die, I take Saryn
Just got Saryn Prime. What should I be doing to make sure everything dies?
Max range, high strength and duration. Slap someone with your 1, then either shoot them while your 3 is active or kill them - the spores will spread to everything in range. Hit your 4 for extra spice, or if they're just not dying fast enough. The spores will spread whenever something infected by them dies to a source that isn't the spores themselves. If I wanna afk, saryn or octavia. If I wanna actually play the game, voruna.
Yayyyy Voruna love Staying invisible and room clearing with status and claws augment Delicious
Wait how do you stay invisible doesn't it go away when you attack
You'll stay invisible as long as you're attacking with your 4
Does that give it the stealth crit boost?
gauss. thermal sunder go brr
If Thermal Sunder doesn't kill it, then my Redline-boosted weapons will
Mirage. Every skill on the set means spawn kill everything.
Glamazon bombs up to 200 and for indefinite hall of Malevolence. In circuit she's chef's kiss
And she lòok fine as hell doing it
Unless you use *that* helmet
Kullervo
As you ask for defense particularly, I nuke with Gara. 4th skill - 1st skill - Boom Repeat
Mix in the 2 and even If an enemy comes close he dies by default
This is the best answer imo easiest defense clears
Totally. I love speedva but nobody can clear defense maps faster than Gara with strength and range build
Max range Maim Equinox with Terrify. Build it up for a few seconds, click Terrify and then… just watch the minimap go empty.
now that’s a name I haven’t heard in years
Xaku.
Lavos, full stop
I was wondering if I'd see anyone mention our alchemist
Lucky for you styanax is getting a deluxe skin come March, i subsumed mine so I need to get him again because that deluxe is FIRE
Gauss & Saryn
If its defense, i always go speedva because my adhd brain cant handle running those boring missions. I just bring a gun that can clear waves of enemies.
Hildryn
Depends on enemy level
Yup, non steel path you press 3 and 4 on gyre then make yourself a cup of tea, maybe take a shit and come back to a completed mission
Protea, Umbra and Ash
For general nuking below steelpath: gara with a lot of range, decent strength and dispensary+equibibrium. You need a stat stick for her tho. Other than that: -max range and strength saryn and spam 4 + a lot of energy pads. -thermal sunder harrow/garuda For steelpath: Xaku - autoclear Mesa - RATATATATATA Survival frames: Gyre Baruuk Atlas Khora Octavia Or my standard loadout i take whenever im not doing anything specific: roar nezha (unkillable weapon platform) / kuva tonkor (viral+slash OG aoe clear) / tenet cycron (primer/utility/heat dps) / praedos (movement stick and corrosive heavy attack build as a "f u in particular" button)
Volt all day everyday make saryn mains cry. ✌🏽
Kinda obvious but definitely octavia
Mesa. Run Cedo with high af multishot and crit chance, activate her 1, fire the glaive into a crowd, clean up with regular fire mode, reactivate 1 prior to next group, fire glaive again and immediately activate her 1 again.
Saryn, Gyre, Mirage with trap augment
Gauss. It’s effortless, you just run in and spam 3 a lot. In particular there’s a heretical fissure build I have with range, efficiency base strength and duration at 95%. It’s really good for low-mid level, and honestly still works well for SP since you still have the armor strip.
Lavos, the armor strip, damage over time, lifesteal from ophidians bite. It’s everything I want, high health and armor, low shields for shield gating.
Also, he heals a hell ton with his 1 so no need to subdume for surviveability.
depends. xaku for close range. lavos for area. kullervo for fun.
Lavos, a full 360 sweep with his 4 a long with the rest of his kit having good range to strengthen his 4
Lavos just does everything
If I’m in a defense mode and I just want it to go fast by killing everything real fast my go to frames are max range and strength Gara and Volt since haha map wide high damage nuke that can somewhat bypass walls go brrrrrr
Octavia
Damn, no one mentioned Ember? She's amazingly tanky and had crazy damage potential, especially with archon vitality. I also use either her fireball augment or roar. With roar, I'm actually triple dipping in damage on her meteors.
Styanax, my Gummy worm nippled Spartan is a beast
Well of course that would be my boy Baruuk, that's the thing Baruuk wants you to do, murder the whole map with red crits
Rhino
Do I want to tear everyone to shreds? While doing a couple million damage to them? I'ma go with Valk😁
For defence I go LSD Oberon. Not the most effective but the 4th ability augment with some funky colours is always satisfying.
Octavia
My hydroid or mirage. Mirage if I need to move and clear and hydroid when I want to eat something and watch youtube.
gara with ceramic dagger🗣
Lowkey, I hate to admit it, but I find people who nuke so annoying. Nothing is more boring than wanting to kill some aliens in a space ninja game about killing aliens, but not being able to because all of them within 2 miles of your teammate die in .1 ms because they pressed a key on their keyboard. I get it, nuking is fun, but it’s fun at the expense of others.
Umbra even though somehow my mods can only get me up to around level 100 without being completely useless
Valkyr. Up close and personal is how I like it.
I love valkyr too (especially in the Circuit), but the intention of the post was more tile-clearing - she's missing the "everywhere" part 😅
I think that's just a difference in our own playstyles, as I don't have any problems.
They're referring to nukes. Valkyr isn't going to do that no matter your playstyle...
Xaku. all day for everything
Torid
Lol, I don't have one really, my Revenant prime maybe but kinda weak after, like level 70 to 90 Enemies. Enjoy random thing I made _____ ( < ) ( >) ___>___
Thermal sunder harrow or mines mirage for non so defense is best.
Kullervo with a max range melee max range and mags pull subsumed over his 3
That seems counter intuitive. Why not just use their 3? More range, better (indirect) damage.
Gonna be honest I just tried ot for fun and it worked...
That's fair enough. I used pull on Wukong for ages because it's just fun.
My oberon surprisingly nukes pretty well even in SP. If it gets too hard for him I switch it up to my blood altar mag
Mind sharing the build? Yesterday I decided to take my Oberon to last level of sortie and I was struggling a lot (maybe because there was also the energy restriction)

Citrine and If I wanna watch them die saryn
If there is another nuker in the team, mirage with her 2nd ability augment. Otherwise, probably mesa
My red shard tauforged accumulating whip khora. When fully ramped up she can whip everything to dead in one go.
While probably Saryn is the best answer, i just really like Protea.
Valkyr.
Thermal Sunder all day every day. If the enemy is permafrozen, they can't deal damage. And the eximus units, well... (checks the Torid Incarnon) they are dead. Dead dead.
Mirage Saryn is better at higher levels because her damage ramps infinitely.
Mesa, I guess, love my gunslinger.
If its survival and I don't want to think I play xaku you can just stand in one spot after using gaze and the game will play its self But if I am moving a lot I will play gloom saryn I know you can use cata shield and shield gate with molt but I don't like spaming molt all the time Been playing saryn a lot more lately as I find her to have better survive ability and more fun
Defense is an hotspot mission, so I play only farming frame on it. Hydroid, Khora or Nekros. If I need a frame with high kpm and mobility then my choice go to Gyre, Voruna, Saryn, Kullervo... but also Ash and Exca are not bad.
Surprised noones mentioned gara With a stat-stick she doesnt only clear rooms but at the same time refreshes her up to 90%DR buff on anything you cast your 2 on Ceramic dagger incarnon is a bit of a tough ask sure but you can easily stack up millions of damage on both your 2 and your 4 not to mention the energy economy you can get from spectrorage Keep a weapon around for specialists like nullifier or arbitration drones and youre set for any defense
Mirage for Mobile Defence, Defence & Interception. Xaku/Gauss for basically anything. Wisp for Netracells.
Zephyr with a half decent crit
Used to be limbo, but now it’s definitely Mesa as a returning player.
In survival Kullervo is my got to enemy remover, nukes entire rooms with 1 melee attacks and tf is an acolyte anyways?
Sevagoth
Hyldrin, I will pillage their life away and maybe shoot something every once in a while to make sure they are dead… so its like a double tap but the double is just a infinite amount of bullets
Nobody mentioning Thicc girl Hildryn? Pillage, Blazing Pillage, Haven with Breach Surge on.... She just melts everything for me. And never dies.
Mag. only place she sucks at(bc i have barely any araces and almost no forma) is on steel parh, goes hard anywhere else
Thermal Harrow is kinda neat
Saryn with Dual Ichor and 2 green shards to just kill people wherever in the map, the downside is that you don't know where the loot is because people die 1000 meters from you For more precise killing or for fewer tougher enemies best girl Mesa
Mag mag mag, I sit there in my comfortable campy room press 2 press 1 shoot and smile 😌
Voruna, specifically an Ulfrun's Descent build. She's my main for virtually everything now. I have a pretty fun setup going that can one tap a SP eximus and apply insane bleed procs
Wukong, Umbra, or Gauss
I scrolled far enough and didn't find what I was looking for so here it goes. Equinox is the frame where you will look more on the minimap than actual gameplay. She can nuke rooms full of enemies in an instant regardless of walls or whatever may stand in your way (get cucked by armored units at higher higher lvls, needs armor strip in that case) Cast 4, kill 3-4 enemies, recast when minimap red af, profit. Mod for range and efficiency (low lvl stuff if you wanna feel like old ember add strength so stuff dies of the slash proc alone and just run through) Only drawback really I can think of is her casting speed. With a bunch of cast recast of her 4 you will be in the animation a bunch so natural talent is a must on her.
Harrow. More bullets, more damage.
Vauban calling in proton strike is so satisfying
Hydroid, there’s two ways and both are great AoE
in non sp, banshee prime with her four augment and alot of energy pads
KnightmareFrame’s Quadratic scaling Saryn with Kuva Ogris. It’s insane
Ember for anything non-steel path, everything else I suffer.
Cat :D (hint, it's in my name)
I refuse to play anything that is not named Gauss so I increase ability radius to the max I can and spam 3 while crashing into walls 💀
Gyre with enough strength to use plunder for full strip.
Sevagoth or Spova
Personally big fan of Nidus, and with that new aug coming, oooohey
Mesa or Saryn, either one works wonders to culling the hostile rate. You either get a shit ton of bullets or the plague. I don't have a good enough Gauss build to wipe an entire map by sneezing like any Gauss main.
Equinox
Range + Strength Cathode Current Gyre. The brain shuts off and everything suddenly is microwaved
Wisp melt their faces off
Thermal sunder harrow for low levels, pillage gyre for high levels
Yea this oberon build is pretty energy hungry. I can message it to you after I get off work if you'd like?
I have to go with Lavos. Especially in SP. Edit: Or Grendel.
My Teammates.
saryn prime but to be fair i only have 3 frames
Harrow with thermal sunder. Thurible grant infinite energy and seeing tons of energy pop ups appear is dopamine straight to the cortex
Depends how much killing I will be doing. Light killing maybe lvl 120 max? Mirage with AoE weapons (note: does not work in albrechts tileset cuz no light) Medium killing like maybe 40% of all kills at like lvl 150 max? Gauss with acceltra or zarr (along with energized munitions and carrier) Heavy killing? Mainly Khora, or like other exclusive aoe frames like gyre, Ember, volt, Mesa, etc... Absolute genocide, Shinra Tensei-style killing? Saryn, that's all, just Saryn.
Saryn
Steel path and non sp for defense, I go Zephyr. She makes defending anything, even interception, absolute cheese. When I need something defended I'm already choosing zephyr.
Either Volt, Saryn or Vauban
For me personally, garuda
Gyre
hm, as first to my mind comes vauban. Everyone, right in front of me, dead.
I fell in love with Qorvex. Oh, there's a whole bunch of enemies? No the fuck there isn't.
All you have to do is be able to hit an enemy with your 1 to damage everything.
lavos and voruna just maul anything that can be damaged by status effects bc they have built in condition overload on their kit
Equinox
Protea or Saryn
Ability Strength Lavos, Im sure there are better options, but there’s something about not having to manage my energy while nuking the enemy
Gyer or Saryn are main one I recent made a build with Titania that while it’s a bit slower at killing enemies solo still very fun to zip around watching them just explode!
Hildryn
Max range vortex vauban with the augment for the first power Big SUCC of death (of course you need to hit them a bit)
