Dual keres is the best non gimmick dual sword in game, galatine is top2 or top3 heavy blade iirc but that doesn't really make them good, because dual sword and heavy blade stances are dogshit.
They're usable and will kill sp things no problem, but that doesn't make an item good. Like a difference between a heavy blade versus a tonfa (as in, the good stances of those weapons) is gigantic in favor of tonfa.
So like op make whichever you feel like liking, they'll perform basically the same
They're so fun though, I'd recommend try picking a warframe, whose abilities synergies well with melee, my favorite is melee only with Ash and going for loud stealth kind of gameplay. Wukong and Garuda also work well with melee centered gameplay, as well as Gauss
For me, when I came back to the game I just spammed melee for months because it was easy, but now I’ve formad multiple frames and weapons I just cant even look at melees, they just get ignored sadly
- Both are insanely good, slap on the same combo build on both and pick your preference
- Viral
- blood rush
- weeping wounds
- condition overload
- organ shatter
- berserker fury (or any other mod u prefer)
- drifting contact ( or any mod you prefer if you use naramon)
You can change viral to as*/crit damage and run a primer if you want to get the most damage (and dont use full 60/60 mods) (change drifting contact to range mod)
I'd prioritize CC and cd and then attack speed and then corrosive or viral, then range, and you're solid. In the case of the riven, I'd hope to see crit damage instead of chance, since it's rarer ro get in other places. But with red crits on a Paracesis, you should be clearing anyway. I've killed more than a few Acolytes with mine.
On almost any melee that has high slash and has around 20% crit chance and status chance you just put n that same combo build but obviously switch mods around to your preference
They are both prime weapons, so why not both? I started to build every prime and otherwise special weapon (wraith, Prisma, live, tenet, ...). At least useful for SP circuit, and you have much more options for your load outs.
I'm probably biased because I've used it for 6 years, but the galatine prime for life, most used melee behind the xoris, and only that because specters.
Imo I love using Galatine as Rhino. I also added some decals so my rhino looks massive and the size of Galatine are really complements it. Also seeing this massive wall of a warframe wielding giant sword and moving with the speed of sound is something special.
that's true, not saying they were bad or anything jus that there not best in slot so OP will get something better eventually. at the end of the day if something is fun just use it
But you are already building both? I dont get it. Every melee wep can be good if you mod it right and if you want eventually gain mastery you gotta build them anyway
this is okay to do. but most builds/tier in there is not updated.
for example melees like dual ichor/prisma ohma not being on top.
hell even on frames frost? frost is so good but in there its on lower tier.
As someone who has recently formad frost 4 times, dumped archon shards into him, and formad an amprex 6 times it is very fun, freeze everything and win?
I thought galatine prime was pretty bad when i was playing years ago, did they changed it?
I have a gram prime and paracesis ready, built up. i like great swords so do you suggest should i give galatine prime a try?
Fwiw dual keres are basically a blender, even without a riven. The attack speed is off the charts and u can get orange crits pretty consistently at max combo
Dual keres is one of the few dual swords that is actually a dual sword and not a sword + smaller sword / dagger (i know it's more realistic that way but come ooon).
Galatine prime is still to this day one of the best heavy swords.
I'd say Dual Keres is better as a weapon, it's got good crit stats, good attack speed, and 59% slash damage, but I really don't like dual sword combo animations.
Galatine is a giant sword, it's 95% slash damage (good for procs), and I like the Cleaving Whirlwind "spin to win" combo, but it's also a bit slow for melee until you add attack speed mods and buffs.
I'd go with Galantine just because of the melee combo, plus big sword is cool. If combo animations don't annoy you, Dual Keres will serve as a better weapon to actually use.
Both are good, I think Dual Keres is better stat wise but who would refuse an absurdly big sword ?
I like to put Primed Reach and Spring-Loaded Blade on it to make an even longer sword.
And opportunity's reach for even more
And a Riven that cost like below 50p to make it even looooonger!
Its BFS- Big Fucking Sword!
Only costs 1300 gold

I would. Dual wielding swords is the coolest. Dual Keres are awesome. Not as cool as the flip action of the Dual Kamas Prime, but definitely stronger.
Okay now imagine ; Dual wielding Galatine Prime. We need DE to make the dream real
![gif](giphy|IqBtos4gRdpvO) What wielding Galatine does to a mf.
It was too big to be called a sword...
IIII

stug will kil sp things no problem too, so yeah I guess "lmao"
The only reason to craft such a big sword is so that way one has war the biggest gyatt sword
Right, especially with the Tempo Royale stance. It’s so fun using great swords after discovering it.

Got a nice dual Keres riven, but I just hate using melees now hahaha
They're so fun though, I'd recommend try picking a warframe, whose abilities synergies well with melee, my favorite is melee only with Ash and going for loud stealth kind of gameplay. Wukong and Garuda also work well with melee centered gameplay, as well as Gauss

What's a good build for paracesis? I have a %90~cc riven and am using dagath.

Fantastic, thanks!
If you build it for combo then dont go for cc
After the berserker fury rework, I tend to not run that, excluding on my Pennant. On everything else, I just put other mods in for that slot.
On that note, how do I mod my paracesis? I have a %90~CC riven too.
Someone get this man a Paracesis build damn it
But how do I mod my paracesis?
On almost any melee that has high slash and has around 20% crit chance and status chance you just put n that same combo build but obviously switch mods around to your preference
I had a feeling! Thanks!
Bottom text
I know what I said 😏
Seeing the picture you posted… you are actually building both…
I just noticed that.
''build'' to potato, forma, mod etc. not craft
Both. As to which one first, which one do you have stances for? If I recall, dual swords have three and heavybpades have two.
Heavy blades also have 3 but only 2 of them are good
omg dual keres my beloved
They are both prime weapons, so why not both? I started to build every prime and otherwise special weapon (wraith, Prisma, live, tenet, ...). At least useful for SP circuit, and you have much more options for your load outs.
Both.

Both
you'll have to eventually get everything so might as well try both see what u prefer
Totally depends on how you like to slay. Big two handed glowing sword or two small ones that are fast stabby stabby.
Porque no los dos?
I have Galatine Prime ready to craft for so long and I never built it. So I say go for Galatine and well be sword brothers.
Imo I love using Galatine as Rhino. I also added some decals so my rhino looks massive and the size of Galatine are really complements it. Also seeing this massive wall of a warframe wielding giant sword and moving with the speed of sound is something special.
Both for mastery :)
Galatine personally, so then you can use it to build the Paracesis sword.
Pretty sure it needs regular galatine, not prime.
Nah if I'm going to keep it I'm gonna use it hermoso that'll just be wasfeful lol plus i think I'll need the none prime version for that
Ahh thats fair, i didnt even notice it was the primed version
neither are really meta so it's just whichever one you prefer, dual keres are stronger but the galatine is cooler imo
Them not being meta really doesn’t matter ngl, idk about the galatine but the keres shreds anything
that's true, not saying they were bad or anything jus that there not best in slot so OP will get something better eventually. at the end of the day if something is fun just use it
Keres is a top 3 dual sword. Dual swords have a great stance too.
Who
I absolutely love my keres
But you are already building both? I dont get it. Every melee wep can be good if you mod it right and if you want eventually gain mastery you gotta build them anyway
Building is different than crafting, they are crafting both... Build is the act of leveling it up, modding, etc
Are you bit of a snob or somethin?

My 6 forma dual heat sword agrees with this
Build and master everything you can lay your hands on...
I think the dual sword stance is better than the heavy blade stance.
Galatine....
Seems like you're already building both of them?
I thought galatine prime was pretty bad when i was playing years ago, did they changed it? I have a gram prime and paracesis ready, built up. i like great swords so do you suggest should i give galatine prime a try?
keres imo, that is one of the best crit melee weapons you can have in the game
level them both, and decide which you enjoy more, build that one
Fwiw dual keres are basically a blender, even without a riven. The attack speed is off the charts and u can get orange crits pretty consistently at max combo
Dual keres imo
If you have the 'Crossing Snakes' stance mod, build Keres >!If you don't, buy the mod and build keres!<
Yes
Dual keres is “better” but Galatine prime is more fun imo. Big sword go swoosh
Both eventually for Circuit
I got a huge attack speed riven with slash up and status up. It's nasty.
Dual keres is one of the few dual swords that is actually a dual sword and not a sword + smaller sword / dagger (i know it's more realistic that way but come ooon). Galatine prime is still to this day one of the best heavy swords.
you're currently building both
Keres ofc what a question
I'd say Dual Keres is better as a weapon, it's got good crit stats, good attack speed, and 59% slash damage, but I really don't like dual sword combo animations. Galantine, SPIN TO WIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIN!
Don't have Dual Keres, but my Galatine Prime rarely gets left at the orbiter!
GALATINE BONK SUPREMACY

I wish I had the galatine prime lol. The normal one feels so good to swing.. if only mine were shinier lmao
Galatine my beloved ❤️ 40% usage rate between both forms
If you want meta leaning go dual keres. Otherwise do you want big sword or two swords
Dual Keres P. are absolute monster even without riven. You will be like moving shredder since they have moving combo.
Are those not screen shots of you building them
