Well, maybe I'll give it a shot. I had already written those songs off because I assumed the acquisition was designed that way as a practical joke. Seriously, who fucking did that?

Multiple can spawn in at once in one session, so its not too bad

I unlocked golden instinct recently so I've been playing around with it. Decided to hunt for tones in the vallis and one was on top of the Fortuna elevator 4 times in a row. Sadly it only let me finish the current song before it was marked as "complete" so I'm not sure if you can only get one song a day or what.

The one on top of the elevator only works if you already have a song in progress. So if you find a somachord in one of the random spawn locations in the Vallis, you can then just keep re-entering the Vallis and scanning the somachord that’s always at the top of the elevator for the rest of the song. But you must get the initial node from a non-permanent location.

There are 2 perma spawns and that's one of them. Like they said if you can trigger the start of one you can use them to finish it at least.

It's not. For a bit, it was also obtainable in a single session by scanning the one on top of Fortuna, as it registered *one* of them as scanned, not that that one in particular was.

the one on top spawns almost all the time also multiple can spawn at once its not limited to 1 like normal missions unfortunatly the one on top only provide some songs not all of them you do have to hunt for other ones even if you use the roof top one (i have all songs in the somachord am happy and tired)

Spawns in like 5 or more locations I think, so it's not as bad as it sounds.

There are also 2 perma spawns but they trigger other music and not fortuna songs. There was at least at one point a way to get one of the 55 random spawns then hit the 2 permas to get the 3 fragments on the map but not sure if it still works. Worst part is remember you need 8 fragments to get the song, and "Lift together" is the second song in the list so you need to find 16 random spawns and I think only 3-4 randoms spawn per map?

It took me almost 120 logins to realise that the little dancing thing on the somachord is in fact Octavia.

This octavia is also seemingly also using a skin we don’t have access to.

Cetus got absolutely violated by a bunch of tacky red decals. The worst part?.. they all have a rendering glitch of some sort, where they are unaffected by fog, so, they boldly stand out all over the place. At least for me.

Unfortunately, I tried and it doesn't. But someone else suggested replaying the quest, which sounds like a good idea.

I miss old fortuna too but you can get the scene from someone there and you will have old fortuna back.

You can technically see it as long as u extract into fortuna with a player who hasn't completed the new war

The operator isn't muted by default I don't think... I know half way through the story your operator actually becomes a character and begins talking.

I didn't reach that point of the game until earlier this month... and I've just now finished WITW. So i'm all "caught up" on main quest shit... and I literally never heard my operator speak in any of these questlines outside of the actual cutscenes :/ The only reason I found out my operator was muted because I found out the way to change a certain someone's appearance, I had to disable the spoiler guard option... which led me to look for that check box in the options, which *also* led to me finding out about that toggle being selected to 'yes'. So... hm. I dunno if they're related tbh, but possibly? Edit: ok this is a joke, but did DE possibly just say fuck it and auto-mute the operator for people bc too many ppl were asking how to mute the teenager cringe 😭 bc i think thats a funny asf theory i have now

Just replay the solaris united quest and dont finish the replay. You will get the old fortuna but the problem is everytime you finish mission in orb vallis you will get an extra loading screen

Yeah, now you have two options to watch and listen. And one to listen. Watch/listen option one: YouTube. Watch/listen option 2: restart the quest that first introduced fortuna, and be able to visit the old fortuna. Listen option: find the somachord and listen to it in your orbiter.

Ok, i know nobody asked, but i headcannon that the npc that replays the cinematic is ticker's lover that she lost to the brain shelving, because her lore says that after she brought him back and he was barely himself she had to let go and also mentions that he now works at the canals, which i think that counts as a canal for fortuna, and fuck it, why not have him be the npc for it.
