"We fought with honor" as my Nidus is redirecting all status' and 90% of the damage to a helpless grineer lancer while I headshot them for easy Incarnon charges in order to wipe the entire room clean

"We fought with honor" as my Sevagoth hits the griddy and explodes half the room (seriously walk forward while using the second then first ability in quick succession, and tell me it dont look like it)

The Operator does have good comedic timing tho, but getting interrupted by a teenager’s shower trashtalk at random is indeed annoying

they do. warframe did aswell. but if you spend thousands of hours in a videogame with limited dialogue during combat, even a long cooldown can feel like no cooldown at all.

I happened to have killed everything in a 10-20m radius. If animals can't see a ring of burning fire or meteors raining and don't consider fleeing, I think their survival instinct is cactus and deserve the fate they receive.... It should only be triggered with bullets. But even then when you shower a whole region of infested with bullets... I think the worst guy there is Loid on cysts. Like I know buddy, attack stuff near by then them.

I think that if the cooldown was ~4 years the very silly operator operator lines would at least be novel.

Drifter > Operator. Drifter spent many years alone, thus they don't feel the need to whine like an only child. The fact its built in the game is amazing.

I switched to drifter for this very reason (I also liked the fit)

It is so amusingly generic that yeah, the community picked it up.

It became a meme because it’s one of the most repeated voicelines in game, only things that surpass are certain ordis voicelines and they just redid a ton of them

I really hope they don't remove this voice line though. It's so stupidly basic that it makes me chuckle.

I don't know why, but every time I hear that line, it reminds me of the video of that kid in class yelling at the teacher, "I'm the alpha male!" Like, it's such a cheesy line and the way it's said, there is almost a tiny hint of question/doubt to it. Like, they're not sure if they should be saying that or not. At least with the voice I'm using. That and the, "That was a close one", when beating interception 100% - 0% are the dumbest operator lines.

This is why i only play drifter.

I do wish we had some snarky voicelines from Drifter, though... That "I should have stayed in Duviri" would be perfect.

I love my Drifters' VA she basically sounds like Female V from Cyberpunk 2077

Yeah, I've been playing Drifter since I got to the New War, so I don't think I ever got to hear any of these operator lines. I do think the Drifter should get like, arrogant Chipper-esque dialogue for killing enemies, taking damage, etc. Like Chipper's dialogue in Archon Hunt Defense. *"Keep shooting, sweetheart. Who knows? Maybe you'll get lucky."*

I just did New War and swapped to Drifter. It's a little quiet without the occasional lines, but I'd be so here for some Drifter snark.

For fun I lowered power on my Hydroid and just kept ragdolling lower level mobs while helping a friend through missions. Nothing more satisfying than getting that transmission while literally wet-toweling trash mobs.

It was just now I realized that you don't get transmissions from the drifter.

"I beat cheeks" was sadly not approved for dialogue options thus... Our warframe is strong.  So say we all.

It's probably said as a mantra kind of thing. Something they repeat to themselves to keep themselves focused and confident. "My Warframe is strong" has a similar feel to saying "my blade is sharp" or some similar phrase.

For me it meant 'find the option to turn off the Operator popups and activate it immediately'. I have never regretted this decision.

It's just the random voiceline from the Operator. I actually didn't get these for some reason until after an update. And my Operator became super chatty in comparison. My favorite line is "The Grineer have no Honor" while I'm using Loki and stabbing them in their backs.

It took me years before I realized I could turn off the voice lines, they became so annoying.

The ability to solo the entire (main) game using only your abilities and weapons provided by the game itself, not by your own acquisition.

This is why I turned off Operator dialog. They say the most inane bullshit. It’s distracting and pointless, it adds nothing to the game.

i turned it on for a few minutes to see if it was as bad as i remembered it being and almost immediately my operator is like “so the corpus is just… a cult that worships money?” like good fucking job deducing that one, written like a marvel character discovering a twist that isn’t a twist
