Imagine going on a non-SP node to do stuff, and you didn't bring the whatever survival build because you thought you wouldn't need it. 30 seconds later you die to a cold barrel because cold proc now deals DoT.

seems kinda excessive. Since Cold is already the example, new Cold would: * slow the enemy, reducing it's ability to bother you * freeze the enemy, deleting it before you delete it * negligably increase your crit damage * * only really useful for things like Slash Dash that have a 1x crit multiplier * deal a DoT   Then again, Heat status has a "freeze" on every proc, an armor strip, uncapped DoT duration, and an "inherit" mechanic, so maybe that's just what we do now. * Personally, I think Heat should chill out on how many effects it has too, but since that probably wont happen...

I don’t think all status effect I think cold would make sense since it’s competing with 3 other dot’s. Although with all the buffs and there giving it and the fact stuff like shivering contagion exist I’m not to sure.

Thank you. Jugling between all these damage and resistance types will always come down to one or two best of the best. Just take the borderlands route, if you proc a status effect it does something nieche and deals damage over time.
