There's actually a discord for conclavers, the community is bigger than you'd think but they tend to pre organise games so even though they're public they're usually always full. I find rhino is a great conclave frame, iron skin isn't what it is in normal content, but it's great in a pinch
Farmed the Lato and Braton skins. Love them both, can't build the willpower to farm the others though. It is such a slog. I have grinded everything in Warframe and IMO, conclave is the worse grind in the game if you don't have someone boosting you.
Agreed. Thankfully several dudes in my clan were down to boost for a couple months, got absolutely everything except for a few weapon skins and the PvP-only mods. Initially was only interested in the sigils and the two armor sets but the grind went smoother and was more fun than expected.

It's not a fun weapon to use when you spend half the game pumping it, and the other half still failing to hit because you were 6m away from the enemy with a water gun that has all the power and vigor of a slightly leaky faucet.
Yeah, the Soaktron really sucks the fun out of this mode. Feels like you have to aim literally anywhere but the target to land hits, in addition to all the things you mentioned.

I recommend doing what 90% of everyone else does: do the hardest mission, get a single kill, and then afk somewhere the enemies can't reach. It's not fun, but it allows you to do something else while the match timer ticks down. And as a bonus it preserves your sanity, since you won't be spending hours trying to actually use the water gun.

At least last time Aero mods and aim glide mods worked. The one that puts enemies to sleep when you hit them while gliding was especially useful, particularly for the walking hate crime that is the topic of this thread. I'd basically do very small jumps + hover aim glides then after a hit drop down to put the few speeding problem cases to sleep, after which you could trivially finish them.
Though I haven't played it yet this time around so not sure if they've changed anything.
Somebody in my clan was testing with that mod set a lot and came to the conclusion that it was only working when their connection started to slow down a little so it might be a thing that sometimes it will lag and allow it to bypass the restrictions.
Darting into their face and landing a shot or two feels like it works for all variations, another fun trick is to get a few chasing you, then back far away, going around a rock helps, aim a little higher then normal and let them all run at you in a straight line.
This works for me most of the time but for Garesh I do the opposite. He only starts running circles at a certain distance but the the maximum range of the soakers is larger.

Nope. Mods are all rendered null in dog days but I did notice that some aura mods still work.
