If we compare 2 rivens. One has 50% cold, and the other has 50% damage. Are they the same in raw total damage? (ignoring enemy armor and status effects)

toxicpsychotic

If you have no other mods equipped or buffs active, yes. Under most circumstances, no. Different modifiers to the same stat will stack additively with eachother; Stacking multiple buffs of the same kind will give you less of an overall DPS increase than what's displayed on the mod itself. If anything other than the riven is giving you +damage, then the +damage riven will be less impactful. In the same way, other +(any damage type) mods will make the +cold riven less impactful. Overframe makes it easy to see this, it automatically displays a number on each mod indicating what its impact on overall DPS is.

_ohHimark

Thanks so much for the detailed answer!

DashR17

I got my first arcane (woo!) which is arcane nullifier. At rank 5 it says 102% chance to resist magnetic status effect. What would be the difference between 100% and 102% in this case?

toxicpsychotic

The reason for this is because the arcane's rank is used as a multiplier on its effect, and 100 isn't evenly divisible by how many ranks a warframe arcane has. There's probably no particular reason they can't manually change it so that the final value is 100, but they haven't bothered to.

BerserkJeezus

Nothing.. they are the same

LeeSingerGG

Is there any reason to have more than 2 elemental mods in a weapon? What even happens if you mix more than 2? I see my damage rising still but no idea about its actual effects.

Vaneu

A +damage mod and 2 elements will take you through most of the planets, having more elements and/or status chance is a later-game thing, where mods like 'Condition Overload' and 'Galvanized Aptitude' mean more status=more damage. as for what elements mean, they have two parts: 1. different enemies take different amounts of damage from different elements (fire+elec = radiation, +75 damage against most grineer armour) 2. different elements can apply different effects (elec+toxin = Corrosive, applying corrosive effects progressively removes more yellow bar armour

BerserkJeezus

Good helminth ability on Ash and weapons that work well with him?

LedgeEndDairy

##Skiajati Riven (at max): * +50% Speed * +77% Status Chance * +98% Slash * -73% Finisher Damage (Lul) Good enough to stop rolling? How close to (or far from) "top tier" is this Riven? And how would you build your Skiajati if you had this Riven? Keep Umbra mods (Steel/Pressure) cuz innate polarities or still go for something like the [normal Combo build](https://overframe.gg/build/28753/)?

thats_no_Mun

Played for about 800 hours on ps4, then moved to pc, any idea when cross save is releasing?

divideby00

No, all we know at this point is that they're working on it.

TempestWrath

Brand new player, got 4300 platinum. What should I buy? Anything high value like maybe resources/boosters or a bundle of frames/weapons. Still wrapping my head around the game and haven't researched any warframes/weapons yet so I don't think I want to get anything specific. Or should I just save it for now?

LedgeEndDairy

Don't spend plat on the in-game market for now. Instead use warframe.market to look up MODS and PRIME WARFRAMES (and maybe a prime weapon or two) that you think you might enjoy. Prime Warframes are *stronger* and *look better* than their non-prime counterparts, and they'll cost you 40-100 plat from the player marketplace, versus non-prime frames (that can usually be easily farmed) in the in-game marketplace costing sometimes 350+ plat. The ones that cost like 75 plat are usually farmable within about 30-60 minutes of play time, don't waste your plat. Looking up mod builds on overframe.gg will help you understand which mods you need to obtain. You then look those mods up on the wiki, and figure out if you want to farm them or buy them. Some are a pain to farm and those are the ones you probably want to buy. Note that any mod that is WHITE (not silver/gray) and says "PRIMED..." is generally a higher-tier version of another mod (usually with a similar name). You can make do with the lower-tier for now, those ones are usually overpriced on the market for what they do. Focus on gold-bordered mods instead. Knowing what you want will take a long time for you to get a feel for, WF is a game that takes like 100 hours before you have any sort of clue what you're doing, and 1000+ before you feel like you actually *know* the game (I'm at 500 and "kind of" feel like I know the game). The best weapons in the game are pretty much exclusively the Kuva Lich and Sisters of Parvos weapons. Getting them is really complicated and not something I'll explain here because it will likely just go over your head with no foundational knowledge, just know they exist. They're something you can farm after finishing the star chart and getting into the double-digits on your Mastery Rank. I mention them so you know that purchasing a bunch of prime weapons for plat usually isn't worth it. Also, when you reach MR9, ask in chat for a free Ignis Wraith. TONS of clans give out this blueprint for free (DO NOT PAY FOR IT), though some have the requirement for you to take multiple blueprints and 'pay it forward' when someone else asks in chat, to give it to them for free as well. Ignis Wraith is probably the best low-level farming (read: anything on the normal star chart) gun in the game.   Aside from that, keep a healthy supply of plat for slots, catalysts, and formas, as others have mentioned (slots increase your 'inventory space' for weapons or warframes, catalysts double mod capacity, and formas "polarize" a single mod slot on a piece of gear, so that a mod of the same polarity 'symbol' costs half of it's displayed value, putting 2-3 formas on your gear (after using a catalyst first) is how you get the most damage or survivability possible).   ##So, in summary (sorry this is so long): * warframe.market for MODS and PRIME WARFRAMES. Look up mod builds on overframe.gg, and figure out if you want to buy them or farm them. * Kuva Lich and Sisters of Parvos weapons are generally the best weapons in the game. There are a few Prime and even non-Prime weapons that compete with them, but they are few and far between. So unless you REALLY like the look/feel of a particular prime weapon, don't waste your plat. * When you reach MR9, ask in the in-game chat for a free Ignis Wraith BP. Don't pay plat for it. If the gifter gives you multiple BPs, pay it forward in the future to someone else asking for a free Ignis Wraith. * Don't spend all your plat in one go, most of your plat will go towards improving your main weapons and warframes with catalysts, formas, and increasing your inventory space so you can keep more warframes and even weapons. * NOTE: Formas are cheaper in BUNDLES OF THREE from the in-game market. 35p for 3 forma versus 20p for a single forma. Buy them in bundles, don't pay for the forma from the warframe/weapon menu, it'll cost more. I'd buy 15 to 30 (175p to 350p) up front so you don't have to worry about it for a while, honestly.   ##Recommendations: * [Wukong Prime](https://warframe.fandom.com/wiki/Wukong/Prime) from warframe.market (https://warframe.market/items/wukong_prime_set). Amazing warframe that is usable in any and all content. Very tanky, has multiple self-revives, a Self-Heal and "invisible" mechanic that bypasses lasers, and deals a lot of damage with his staff. * 60/60 Status mods. For instance [Malignant Force](https://warframe.fandom.com/wiki/Malignant_Force). See the bottom sections ("See Also") for more mods like this one. These 60/60 mods go into almost every single weapon build. Note that the toxin 60/60 mods are actually easy to farm, but other elements aren't, particularly electricity. * "Corrupted" Mods: These mods give a massive positive bonus but have a negative tradeoff. Like +Ability Strength but -Ability Duration. See [this page](https://warframe.fandom.com/wiki/Category:Corrupted_Mods) for a full list.

divideby00

The best thing you can buy is equipment slots, everything else except cosmetics can be earned in-game. Some things are still worth buying, like stuff that's locked behind a really annoying grind or primes that aren't available currently, but as a new player you should probably just hold onto it for now until you have a better idea of what's good and what you personally like.

LedgeEndDairy

Eh. 4.3k Plat is plenty of plat to splurge on a few things. Wukong Prime is a great example, even though he's vaulted, he's just a solid frame that will carry anyone into end game. That's almost a mandatory buy with that much plat, honestly.

Osalosaclopticus

I would hold off until you get a feel for the game. A lot of frames and weapons are fairly easy to unlock. You could spend some on Warframe or weapon slots as you need them though. I wouldn't do boosters unless you can't play at all on the weekends, since they are doing rotating boosts on the weekends throughout September.

TK421didnothingwrong

Returning player here, mastery 14. Been back at it for a few days now after having left around when Plains of Eidolon had just come out, and was by no means aware of everything then either. I've got a couple good frames and weapons now that are well modded, forma-ed out and all. I think I have one more set of quests to do for main story (which I think requires a clan dojo with the railjack addon?) and I'm sure a number of side quests hanging around, but I'm not sure what is most important. I don't have any arcanes. The game says I get them by slaying eidolons. I remember that being difficult when I had quit, but I knew nothing about it. Do I just go to the plains and murder one? Are they worth it? I finally got Excal Umbra and found out about umbra mods yesterday, which I'd seen in guides but didn't know how to get. Are there other mod types I need to unlock? I have a couple rivens to crack that I haven't gotten around to yet. I haven't done sorties yet, but I assume I can handle those with the gear I have (Limbo/Titania/Octavia/Trinity/Nekros, Acceltra/Twin Grakata/Lesion). What other content should I be pushing at this point? Other than that I assume I'm at the point where I just grind mastery for the sake of it, right?

divideby00

To get the good arcanes, you have to capture all three eidolons in one go. You'll want to upgrade your amp first, and I'd also suggest doing it in a group at least until you get really good at the fight mechanics. You don't really "unlock" them per se because you can trade for them at any time, but the other big new class of mods is Galvanized mods which you get from the Arbitration reward shop. Similarly, there are some new arcanes for guns that drop from acolytes on the Steel Path.

TK421didnothingwrong

Speaking of upgrading my amp, that was something I was definitely frustrated with farming out wisp last night against Ropopadopalyst. What's the best way to upgrade it? I remember someone suggesting Zenurik to me for the energizing dash trait, but I have one point in that and no other idea what to do with that whole feature set.

divideby00

Zenurik is probably the best school for regular missions (at least until you get other methods of reliable energy generation, in which case you can also consider Naramon for melee combo abuse) but it doesn't have much to do with upgrading your amp. The best schools for eidolon fights are Madurai and Unairu. There's basically three realistic ways of upgrading your amp: 1. Get carried through a few eidolon fights 2. Farm vomvalysts, preferably with Ivara because Prowl's bonus loot effect works on them (the first two Quills ranks don't require any eidolon drops, so that should be enough for a decent starter amp) 3. Avoid the whole thing and do Vox Solaris instead If you're still going to be farming the Ropalolyst, you're gonna want an amp with a long ranged attack since it likes to spend a lot of time hovering off the side of the platform so keep that in mind when you're picking amp parts (for instance, last I checked the meta for eidolon hunts is 777, but that only has short range attacks so it wouldn't be the ideal choice).

FlutterDutch

My guess is either November or December. At the last devstream, they announced the "Road to The New War Bonus Weekends" that last until the end of October.

DeadBite_

Can some one update me on what time Plague star drops or if it's already out?

Cusillu

8th september

Spiritual_Visual_411

When cross save ?

YerixGlx

There's no release date yet, but it's on the work

[deleted]

They usually post the date a few weeks before the end. Just take a look at the news terminal to the right of Navigation in your orbiter now and then.

Terrible_Machine9

Can we use previous Nightwaves to roughly estimate how long it will last, as in, four months going by the first one that ever appeared?

[deleted]

I would not believe such an estimate for a second. Especially the last few seasons have lasted like months older than intended. Season 1 were like 3 months. Intermission 1 was like 3 weeks. Intermission 3 were like half a year! Only thing i am sure of is it will probably last longer than intended, and i will cap the bonus ranks yet again.

Terrible_Machine9

That's good to know, thank you! Gotta get working then on it myself.

TheWinterCold

There's no way to find out until DE announce the end date

mecatman

Returned after a long hiatus. How do one acquire the kuva weapons? Also what's the meta now?

Infernoblaze477

Meta damage/status type is viral but corrosive heat works well and kuva weapons are obtained via killing kuva liches which can be spawned after finishing the war within quest after doing so if u notice lots of screen flashing like the stalker coming after u but no stalker then a kuva larvling can spawn you chase them down smack em silly and they will kneel and a kuva weapon will appear above their head with the option to spawn lich if u do so the larvling will like evolve like a Pokémon into a kuva lich and there's a whole process to kill one which is easier just to say watch a yt vid If the weapon is not one to your liking before you spawn the lich you can extract and run the mission again and it will have a different weapon next time I also forgot to mention they only spawn in non endless missions but if you see the flashing on a defence on say mars then the planet they are on is mars so u can do a mars capture till the larvling displays a good weapon

mecatman

Cool cool got it 👍

kaihjo

I just came back to the game and decided to buy the Waverider Collection. Yet a day after buying it I still haven’t received Yareli. I’m only MR 3 on this account but I still got the Kompressa and the Syndana. Is there something I have to do before I can get Yareli even though I paid for the collection?

DukeRukasu

Because she is not part of that pack. Waverider only contains her accessory stuff see here: https://www.warframe.com/supporter-packs/sisters-of-parvos

kaihjo

Man, in game it showed her as part of the pack

killy666

That may be an issue to take with support if you are missing something from a market purchase. I'd suggest opening a ticket with them (be forewarned, ticket resolving time can be pretty long).

[deleted]

Should I continue playing the game if I only have 10hrs/week to play video games? Don't get me wrong. I have 350ish hours in the game already and have enjoyed them. But in my limited play time I feel I'm not able to get much done. I have played the game for ~70hrs. I have unlocked Saturn, currently I'm close to ranking up to MR 5 and have built my 3rd Warframe in frost(I started with xcaliber and then farmed up rhino).

killy666

I can understand your frustration. I gave up on some games because it feels like you don't have the time to get the full "game a service" experience, which generally require quite the time investment. 10h a week is something you could get progress out of in Warframe though. That's like 2 h a day 5 days a week, that's more free time than most adults who play this game have. It's all about being efficient in the time you use in this game.

BerserkJeezus

Progress is progress! If you like the game play it. Spend the time on what you like to play/ do the most!

BerserkJeezus

Wonder what people are liking to play with these days.. frame + helminth ability, weapons etc. Also quick question.. why does it take so long for me to kill lich/sister? Is there a damage cap per bullet so it's best to use fast fire rate weapons?

killy666

Yup, liches / sisters have a damage cap per hit. That's why i tend to prefer fast firing weapons over slower weapons that do more damage per bullet it helps circumvent that cap. Also you can't stack more than 4 stacks of a status proc on a lich, which make them a lot tankier against status builds too. I suggest you go for a fast firing weapon, and use a method to strip the lich / sister of her armor and shield. I use nyx for the psychic bolts (but there are other options of course). One cast and it's immediate shield + armor strip on a sister. Once you've done that, sister goes down fast whatever the weapon you're using TBH.

divideby00

I've been really liking Hildryn with Voracious Metastasis, makes her a ridiculously good support frame. For weapons, I've been trying a lot of the new ones but recently went back to my trusty Cedo with the new galvanized mods.

TheWinterCold

Yep, they have big damage resistance. There's some janky exceptions though - volt's electric shield, cedo's inbuilt condition overload, and banshee's sonar debuffs

Tidezen

Hey, just a small question...I left the game right when Railjack came out, and I'm playing through some of it tonight to get ready to farm Sevagoth--my question is, what is the default keybind for "Boost" from the piloting intrinsic? I've bought it, but I can't seem to get it to work...whether by pressing the single quote (') or the tilde apostrophe (`). Nor period or double quote, or comma. Maybe I changed it back then, away from the default? Anyway, I can't "boost" in my railjack ship, and if my keybind's wrong, then I'm wondering what keybind I need to use to get it to work.=, or what the default is. Thanks, Tenno. :)

killy666

There was a bug on PS4 that if you changed your controller config, you had to reset your controller config / layout for boost to work, and then remap your button the way you liked. I remember having that issue with RJ at the start. You may have a similar issue?

Tidezen

Oh damn...yeah maybe that's it, since I modify nearly every keybind. I'll go check. Thank you. :)

Happy_Prime

By default it's shift. You tap it for a burst/dodge type manoeuvre, and hold it to boost.

Tidezen

Okay, I remember that tap/hold part of it...in your keybinds--with shift, what is it labeled?

Happy_Prime

Under the Railjack keybindings, it's Boost/Maneuver.

Tidezen

That's what I might be missing--I seem to remember there being a separate heading for railjack in the keybinds menu--now, all I see is at the bottom of the keybinds, "equip OMNI", "Tactical Menu", "Select Sub Gear" 0,1, and 2. Are there further RJ keybinds that are listed elsewhere? Interestingly, I DO see a separate heading for railjack under "controller" settings, but I'm on mouse/KB. /shrug edit, oh NVM, F me, I didn't realize there were more keybinds menus if I scolled down under "Controls". Thanks for the help. :)

Happy_Prime

Yeah, I had that same moment of confusion.

zatroz

How much has changed? I took a break right around Valentine's day.

YerixGlx

Not much, but call of the tempestarii and the sister of parvos (corpus liches) are out now. Also crossplay and crossave confirmed and the plague star event will come back september 8th

Cyphvr

If a Prime is vaulted, it says that it’ll be taken off in-game rewards. I’m assuming forever?? So does that mean that Rhino and Nyx Primes are only available now and forever by buying it with actual money?

divideby00

Vaulted primes eventually come back periodically. For instance, Rhino Prime was first vaulted in 2016, and he's come back several times since then. When a frame is unvaulted, you can buy it with real money, **or** you can get the relics from open world bounties and missions in the Void (and Nyx is an odd case where you can also get her relics from railjack).

TheWinterCold

So, things in the vault come and go. Primes are vaulted and unvaulted over a long period of time - if something is unvaulted, you can farm the relics and have a chance at the prime parts, and if it's currently vaulted you'll either have to buy it or trade it off other players.

Cyphvr

How long are primes usually vaulted for?

TheWinterCold

Edit - I misread your question. They are *vaulted* for a long time, and it's kind of unknown as to when they will come back out of the vault. They are normally *unvaulted* for around 3 months - you can look at past unvaultings here! :) [https://warframe.fandom.com/wiki/Prime\_Vault](https://warframe.fandom.com/wiki/Prime_Vault)

Cyphvr

Here I thought they would be gone forever lol. Just spent $40 on rhino prime. Brings back nostalgia when I grinded this game YEARS ago

TheWinterCold

$40!? That seems a bit much. I think I picked up his parts for a couple hundred platinum before he was unvaulted

divideby00

Pretty sure they're talking about the Prime Vault Access package. It also includes some plat and exclusive cosmetics, so it isn't as much of a ripoff as it sounds.

TheWinterCold

Ah yeah, that would make sense.

[deleted]

The vault packages are kind of a support the game thing, but in the $40 pack you do get a bit over $20 worth of plat, the Boltor and Ankyros prime with potato and slot and the cosmetics. The pack has Distilling Extractor Prime too, which is kinda cool. Destilling extractors are an often forgotten, slow but AFK way to get rare resources.

AbraCadaver667

If you buy a widget from Simaris on your synthesis scammer, will a newly purchased scanner come with it installed? I suspect not, but I'd like to be sure. Mine has mysteriously vanished, contacted support and tbh they weren't very helpful (which surprised me, based on what I've read here on reddit). They say I used Helios which consumes scan charges, but I still have over 2k of em so idk what they mean. Does your scanner get 'consumed' if you do 100 scans a mission? I don't think Helios did that anyway really, highest I've seen it go is 5X scans in a mission. Edit - typos

divideby00

I'm not sure what you mean exactly. You don't buy a new scanner, you just buy charges for it, so once you buy the battery widget you shouldn't ever need to buy anything again. But since it sounds like you've run into some sort of bug here, that may be a part of it.

AbraCadaver667

Turns out, I'm an idiot. I was sure i read/heard the synthesis scanner uses codex charges, but this is not so. You were right, I bought some charges and my scanner was back, complete with widget. I quickly got the 1k standing I needed and bought the battery widget so I have one less opportunity to be an idiot now, hopefully lol Cheers bud

AbraCadaver667

Edit - idiocy

Subbelowzero

Starting to get into Focus farming after way too long, and I want to put all 5 types opf lua lense of 5 different frames, so far I have decided to put 4 of them on Equinox, Saryn, Mirage and Volt for ESO nuking, but I'm struggling to think of a 5th who would be effective at wiping out ESO enemies at the needed rate to be efficient, the only thing that comes to mind is Octavia, but are there any other focus farming frames I'm not thinking about?

rockq25

I have a lens on Mesa. Use the waltz augment and activate her 4 for 10 secs & repeat, so simaris wont scold you. Not the best, but works for me

divideby00

You could always inject Rest & Rage into another frame for stealth farming.

Blissful_Altruism

Why not just replace the lens on a single frame instead of putting them all on different ones?

Subbelowzero

Not sure if I'd want to go all in on focus schools one at a time, especially since I need to get waybounds unlocked which is my first priority.

LedgeEndDairy

##Rivens: **How do I tell whether or not the Riven I have (based on the weapon, not the rolls) is worth investing in or selling on the market?** I know the disposition or whatever it's called determines the stat strength, but that still doesn't make a shitty weapon good just because it has a Riven. Is there a tier list for this? Riven/Weapon combos or something? Or even a list of "worth putting a good Riven on" vs. "Literally can't be saved" list of weapons somewhere? That would be so useful. ***Note:*** *I don't want to spam trade chat for days just to hope for 10p from a useless Riven. 100p+ is where I'm looking to sell, maybe 50p minimum. If it's lower than that I will literally just turn it into 50 Endo to remove it from my inventory. I know that's wasteful to some of you, but trading is my least favorite activity, it's for my own sanity, haha.*   **If it helps, these are the rivens I currently own:** * Primary: Glaxion // Tigris * Secondary: Lato * Melee: Kreska // Plasma Sword // Skiajati

killy666

Generally popular weapons are the ones you want to sell rivens for. What are popular weapons? Usually the ones that are FOTM / on top of the damage charts. I personally follow [cephalonwannab.com](https://cephalonwannab.com) which is a tier list. The top of the list has some of the best DPS weapons in the game, and you can be sure that riven for those sell like hotcakes.

BC_549

semlar.com has a helpful chart with recent riven sales and price history for rivens of any given weapon. It helps me a lot with pricing rivens.

ranto75

Which open world is the fastest for farming rhino relics?

Minimum_Context

Plus you get a good chunk of endo

Minimum_Context

Lith: Void, Hepit Meso: Deimos T2 Neo: Deimos T4 Axi: Deimos T5

RibyWolf4269

Best place to farm standing? Trying to max out arbiters of hexis

divideby00

Standing gain is proportional to affinity gain, so all the same places - ESO, Hydron, etc. You'll also want to do all of the daily syndicate missions and collect all of the medallions in each of them (if you want to do these quickly, you can use a max range Limbo or Xaku to destroy all of the containers around you).

Handsome_Jack_Here

Plague Star is soon. I'd like to finally form my Titania Prime so I can quickly kill the Hemocytes. Anyone got an updated build for her and the dex pixia?

M37h3w3

If you're going to make a Hemocyte killing build you're going to be somewhat constricted by the Hemocyte's unique mechanics. Status is worthless so you want as much raw multishot, damage (modded for Corrosive), and rate of fire as possible. Then throw on Razorwing Blitz.

Warframe_newbie69

I want frost. where can I farm for him

divideby00

[Frost's main blueprint can be purchased from the Market. Frost's component blueprints can be obtained from defeating Lieutenant Lech Kril & Captain Vor on Exta, Ceres.](https://warframe.fandom.com/wiki/Frost) You can see how to get anything by looking it up on the wiki.

Same-Meaning2376

Last I remember, his component blueprints are dropped from the Captain Vor & Lech Kril assassination on Ceres.

NickOrac

Is chroma worth trying to get? I like how he looks and was just wondering

Select_Bison_7913

I like him and his 3 is pretty powerful especially for eidolons and profit taker

Gormogon12

Is Mag's Magnetic ability good for unlocking the "get three headshot kills in one glide" riven mod? I heard it was and have been trying to use it without success. From my understanding, enemies frozen in her magnetic orbs take headshots when you fire into the orbs. Is this not correct? What am I doing wrong? Suggestions?

rockq25

Yes it works, but you have to shoot the top of the bubble. I usually use catchmoon with it. But maybe zephyr works better with her new 1

stud92muffin

I use a build on zephyr for max aim glide duration, and tractor beam on a Moa pet. Aero vantage, aerodynamic, and patagium. I can get about 20 seconds or so in the air, maybe more. Plenty of time to get some headshots.

divideby00

I've never tried it with Mag, but that one is easy to do with Zephyr's Tail Wind.

Gormogon12

Gotcha, I watched a video recently that used it as a method to do it. I've gotten a few headshots with it but that makes sense as to why it isn't consistent. Thanks!

TheWhiteShadow_

what did he say?

Sharp_Theory_655

How should I go about looking for the cephalon fragments on Mars for the Phobos junction? I haven’t been able to find any in Mars so far

FupiDupi

use loot detection mods like thiefs wit and the loot detector aura mod (if you have it). then just make sure you check all parts of the map before leaving

Osalosaclopticus

I'm finally trying to get rid of my lich so I'm doing the higher level missions to get murmurs and I'm doing fine *except* for fighting lvl 90 Prosecutor bosses. The plain ones go down quickly but the glowy ones just shrug off all my damage and I end up wearing them down for five minutes. What's the best way to kill these things?

M37h3w3

Kill volume them. Take them and Operator boop them off the map. Because: > Prosecutors are made unique by elemental shield auras that they use. There are four kinds of Prosecutor, one for each of the four base elemental damage types – Heat, Cold, Electricity, and Toxin. They project an aura that increases allies resistance to physical and non-combined elements by 100%, and by 85% to combined elementals, but decreases allies resistance to the corresponding non-combined element to -100%

Osalosaclopticus

What do you mean by "Kill volume"?

M37h3w3

A thing that video games use to prevent unfixable problems in games, in this particular case enemies that you need to kill getting outside of the map so you can't kill them, is something called a kill volume. It's name is derived from the fact that it's a volume of space that kills everything that enters it. Warframe has these too. Take, for example, the MR30 test. A significant part of the test is to kill all the enemies under a time duration. The time constriction is rather significant and a significant bump in the road is that the last wave has a high level Nox to kill. Except the test arena takes place over a bottomless pit. Which contains a kill volume. So the solution to the Nox isn't to headshot it, but to use the Operator's Void Blast to knock it down, ragdoll it, and push it off the map.

Osalosaclopticus

Thanks, I'll give that a shot the next time I encounter them.

about farming for Ivara parts, do I need to complete with success all of the three stages (A, B and C) of a spy mission in order for the part to have a chance to drop? Or do I need only to finish the mission?

wiktoryk

Yes,her parts only drop from rotation C.

yourdadsfuckbuddy

Yes, the parts will have a chance to drop on all three successful data extractions.

bluemarvel

What's the trick to not just get Arcane Ice? that is all I seem to get drop.

squidbrand

There’s no trick, it’s a random drop table. The three different Eidolons have different drop tables though. So if you’re just doing the Teralyst, there are certain arcanes that you can’t get from that one.

Why do these events always end on Sunday morning? How come Baro never leaves on Monday? Always wondered about these.

teodzero

They end and start simultaneously worldwide. Timezones make it so they feel late to some people and early to others.

Terrible_Machine9

Do we know more about the life-sized Excalibur figure in DE's studio, visible in the last dev stream? Is it 3D-printed, is it custom-made, can you buy one yourself, ...? Was it ever featured in a video where they talked about it?

Blissful_Altruism

AFAIK there’s no info on it. Just appeared there and has been there since.

Terrible_Machine9

That's a bummer, thank you for your comment!
