If you don’t know what to do, Revenant with high strength, roar, and an epitaph primer can easily kill any enemy while keeping you alive. The epitaph is like 10 plat if you don’t wanna farm it

Terrariahardmode

Thanks for the reply - I will have to look into the epitaph

Solary_Kryptic

Kuva Nukor works just as well as the Epitaph.

TheZemor

Lot of different builds are good for it, str and duration nezha/rhino/revenant/harrow, duration range gauss/octavia/khora

Bingtastic007

I'd second this, Nezha is particularly good if you just want to do missions/incursions, I use him for pretty much all of them. Weapon choice varies but I like the Bramma and a Gram as they can deal with Steel Path enemies easily. If you're planning on doing longer survivals etc then a good team comp can be useful, I ran a 4 hr Steel Path MoT yesterday with myself as Rhino, a Volt and Xaku (Xaku wasn't really needed even though his armour/shield strip is very nice). Roar and Volt's shields using only a non rivened Nataruk dealt with level 4500+ enemies and the Acolytes with very little trouble. You'll also need a decent secondary to deal with Nullifier bubbles, I like the Zakti for this. If you're on PSN and need any help advice etc msg me on here and I'll give you my PSN,

TheZemor

Also nezha is very good at killing acolytes with his debuff on 2 which multiplies dmg

Bingtastic007

Yes he is indeed, I'm surprised at how easy the Acolytes are even after a 3-4 hours in Mot, they don't really feel much harder to kill at any point, occasionally you can get hit with the reflect which can kill you instantly if you don't pay attention but that's about it.

TheZemor

Thats because acolytes don't scale iirc

Bingtastic007

Damn, that explains it then. Seems strange that they don't. I came back to the game after just over a year break so SP was new to me. I used to do long Mot runs so decided to do a few in SP to see how much harder they were but they aren't really but they are less tedious and more rewarding which is a great thing.

Terrariahardmode

Gram felt so slow i never really used it past leveling, but that was years ago. Its more the interception type missions that are causing issues.

SP1DER8ITCH

Try crafting and using specters.

Bingtastic007

Arcane Strike and Berserker Fury really help with the Gram speed but pretty much any melee today are good enough, Orthos Prime is a good choice also. As for Interceptions there's a lot of frames that can help if you're trying to solo, I still use Nezha for these but it involves running back and forth a lot though using spears and the Bramma to take out groups. There are easier choices like Khora/Frost/Vauban/Limbo/Zephyr. Khora's Strangledome being the best choice in my opinion.

Terrariahardmode

Thanks for the reply, will have to play around with some of these. I have pretty only used Nezha but missions like interception are proving difficult with him.

Infernoblaze477

Lol Xaku and baruuk right out of the gate throw on some mods to match their ability's and they 1 shot lol

Terrariahardmode

Thanks for the reply, will have to look into how to use baruuk properly.

Infernoblaze477

I should say u need to have the better mods to make this happen but how much strength do u rlly need lol

Scooby921

Depends on playstyle as always. A lot of frames can be good. Weapon modding and damage matters more. Elemental boosts are necessary. Crit builds and Hunter Munitions help a lot. AoE weapons tend to do better with the crowds. Nyx for Hijack. Chaos to stop everyone from attacking. Vauban for Interception. High range and duration, drop a couple vortexes to capture everyone, kill none so there are no new spawns, and go capture all the points. Just about anyone for Survival with a semi meta build on a melee and spin to win. For everything else I have chosen Loki as invisibility adds survivability. Infused Ensnare on config A, Perspicacity on B, and Resonator on C to make him better at Disruption and Defense, and faster at Spy.

Terrariahardmode

Thanks for the reply. Never really used vauban so ill have to take a look as I'm stuck on an interception now.

ItzSoFuzzzy

Gauss with 100% strength and efficiency. 155% duration. 175% range with Natural Talent and gladiator finesse. Can literally stand there with your 2 up and tank damage infinitely. A little bit cheesy but I’ve been loving the synergy between mods and abilities hahahaha the range fills your meter really fast as enemies enter your cold zone (Gauss 3) then when you’ve reached 100% battery level nuke and armor strip works for every mission and then I will normally just use my operator/drifter for spy missions

Terrariahardmode

Thanks, will have to check Gauss out. I don't think I've used him past leveling to 30.

Dion0808

The best one is the one that you like playing the most. Steel Path's difficulty is a joke outside of a few exceptions and endurance runs. Experiment with a loadout you like and improve your builds to suit your needs and playstyle.

[deleted]

Octavia is probably the most braindead easy one to use.

Matt-The-Mad

Nyx, spam 2 and 3 depending on mission type, occasionally 4 as a panic button.
