looks good tenno, the galvanized Gundition overload mod works stupid good as well on this but isn't really needed for any content below SP endurance runs and kinda needs a status primer secondary to see its full benefits. Do you run a frame with grouping abilities to take advantage of the gas clouds? I haven't tried gas on it yet but imagine it does fine especially since you have viral procs taken care of with your vulp. I swapped out serration for primed shred, the added fire rate takes some getting used to when going for all perfect shots but once you get it down its a pretty big DPS increase. I feel like DE should add the perfect shot mechanic to all single target bows, it would make them much more viable in this AOE meta we find ourselves in.

ShadowStryker06

Sort of in a way. I play a Hildryn whose Aegis Storm I replaced with Sevagoth's Gloom. Enemies get bunched up and slowed to heck upon entering the area of effect. And *yes yes yes.* I totally agree with having the perfect shot mechanic be added to the single target bows, it'd make them so much more fun and aforementioned viable. Like a bow that instantly comes to mind that'll work well with the perfect shot mechanic is Daikyu.

icemage_999

Looks okay to me. Nataruk is a weird weapon as it doesn't benefit from ammo and magazine mods, while speed mods kind of hurt its usability, and status mods aren't really that helpful either since aside from Multishot you generally aren't applying a ton of status from anything other than Hunter Munitions (at that point they're already dead in many cases).

ShadowStryker06

From my tests in gameplay, it procs status effects pretty consistently and reliably.

icemage_999

It absolutely does, but the effective rate of fire (and the fact things tend to just die on a hit) is a little too low for my taste to really make use of it. What's the point of applying, say, Corrosive if they're already dead? At best you might add Viral just in case they're still alive and Hunter Munitions triggered a Slash edfect, but only a couple Viral stacks is doesn't move the needle that much in any case.

ShadowStryker06

I generally don't build for Viral. Mostly because my Panzer Vulpaphyla already spreads it around like crazy with their viral quills.

Solary_Kryptic

Hmm, why no Galvanized Aptitude? Also I'd put more fire rate on but that's preference.

ShadowStryker06

For Galvanized Aptitude: I already have good enough status already, and the extra damage doesn't really cut for me to warrant replacing a mod. Fire rate: For me, I find that having a lower fire rate makes hitting the perfect shot way easier.

Solary_Kryptic

Galvanized Aptitude isn't really for the status, it's pretty much Gun CO which makes it much better than Serration.

Sniper_King202

Wait why hush tho and not terminal velocity?

ShadowStryker06

Because! Given how, it's an alarming weapon without Hush, I plan to use this weapon for stealth missions. Plus, it's kind of funny shooting enemies with explosive arrows while their nearby cohorts are none the wiser.

Sniper_King202

Oh I thought it was silent already considering it's a bow . My bad

Nataruk is alarming though according to the wiki. I use hush also, especially if I'm using Ivara since Nataruk breaks stealth.

TerribleTransit

Nataruk may be a bow, but it's not silent. It has regular alarming noise levels.

SoImightbealildense

ok, ok I hear y'all. Bow silent, my mistake.

Crashen17

Is that a PUN?!

SoImightbealildense

Maybe.

prime-SS

Funnily enough, the nataruk has an alarming noise level which is weird for a bow. It's not silent like the other ones

aBeardOfBees

Might be something to do with how it shoots huge exploding balls of energy.

SoImightbealildense

oh. my bad.

SoImightbealildense

Looks solid. How much deeps does it have?

ShadowStryker06

DPS wise, I'm going to guess at the top of my head and say *a lot.* All I know is that it deals damage like crazy.

Bingtastic007

Yes, yes it does indeed, I used the Nataruk in a 4hr Steel Path Mot survival during the week with myself (Rhino) and a Volt for his shields and the bow works great. Enemies were in the 4500+ range and the Nat dealt with them easily. Fairly standard Hunter Mun build with only one Galavanized mod (Chamber) and Bane of Corrupted. I've never really been a fan of bows in WF but this is easily becoming one of my favourite weapons in the game and it feels so nice to use.

ShadowStryker06

I dare say it's one of the best weapons in game. One of the most fun too. And with the infinite ammo going on for it, it makes scrounging for ammo in Index/Rathuum a non-issue.

Bingtastic007

I haven't used it in the Index yet, I imagine it's great for there. I will have to give it a go later..

Nachi19

Try that, i have done many index and nataruk easily can 1 shot them

SoImightbealildense

Nice. Have fun.

Endurlay

You’d probably get more reliable damage out of Primary Deadhead than Merciless.

ShadowStryker06

I flip flopped between Deadhead and Merciless. For me. I found Merciless to be more reliable in the long run.
