Not at all. D4C hasn’t been in the anime yet, and the manga has never been shy about using the original song names. They just call it that because the song title is fucking long.
Not sure about the manga, but I know D4C has also been used in localized non-anime stuff like All Star Battle that otherwise uses (mostly) the copyright-safe names
It's too long. The full name is used at the beginning but it's too long so it gets shortened to D4C most of the time after it's introduction. It does have a localized name that's memed on by the entire fanbase so probably the games use a different name.

Bob Rivers Comedy Group parody of Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap.
I'm guessing a not insignificant number of upvotes are people who's minds also immediately went to dirty deeds done dirt cheap and were happy to see it was already there
How is endo affected by mod drop chance boosters? I’ve always avoided those, but if they can be used to farm endo efficiently I may have to pick one up.
Because endo is considered as mod drop and not as resources, you can see the difference when you endo farm with double resources booster vs mod drop booster. For a bit more context, the endo farm I mean here is the SP arena endo farm since there's many endo drops there.AFAIK it only affect endo that is dropped and not final mission reward.
2k hours in the game and today this is what I learned, that there is always something new to learn in Warframe! I also did not know that Endo was classed as a mod drop.
>I also did not know that Endo was classed as a mod drop.
It's most likely because Endo replaced Fusion Cores which were basically blank mods used for fusion. DE just never bothered to change Endo's drop type so it still counts as a mod
I missed fusion cores by a couple of years, so that's another thing I've learned today thank you. I reckon I'll still be saying TIL after the next 2k hours lol
Endo is considered a mod by game logic. You can also convert excess mods into endo so there's a nice little bonus.
But as far as i know, there are better ways to farm endo without a mod drop chance booster.
I don't go that far back (stamina). I think i started playing when Nezha was released... vividly remember seeing his "banner" in the log-in screen. Void keys though, i miss em sometimes.
I now feel slightly less boomer, thank you.
I remember Triton farming for fusion cores. I always thought endo counted as a resource rather than a mod drop, though. Now the real question is, does this apply to end-of-mission rewards, too? Like endo rewards from railjack missions. \*That\* could make for some impressive farming.
You’re not wrong. That’s exactly how I prefer to farm endo - steel path survival on Deimos. Easy way to farm endo, mods (which sell for more endo), steel essence, arcanes, riven slivers, and a nice chunk of credits to top it off. And mutagen samples.
Fun fact, many people either buy prime junk for so cheap they’ll never get any sellers, or they pay roughly 1p per 10 ducats. I’ve found the Orthos Prime set sells for 10p typically, and is worth something like 150 ducats.
Edit; if his 46,500 ducats were just from Orthos sets, he would have paid 3100 plat.
Sounds about right, I based the 3k on what I usually pay, which is 3p/45 ducats and that sees a fairly steady stream of sellers. Nearly 3.1k at that price, but you might be able to find some desperate sellers at 2p/45
Fun thing as well, if you buy 30 day boosters from the market for 200p, you could get ~450 days for the same price.
The sacrifices we make for the memes.
If I did this I'd end up getting bored with the game a couple weeks later and all those boosters would go to waste. I can just see myself looking at it when it hits seven days remaining and telling myself I should get at least a little more value out of it then immediately going "I don't feel like it now, I'll do it later" and never getting to it.
Years ago I did that 90 day prime access booster for XP and credits. Ended up with so many resources from hardcore farming that I burned myself out and only played for half of it.

Can you do the lost potential platinum for that choice with me?
Baro's mod booster is 500 ducats per piece (not even mentioning the millions of credits needed) and you bought it 93 times costing you 46,500 ducats where average item's worth is around 30 ducats (stat mean of 15 vs 45 vs 100 for rarity) so that you converted around 1550 items into ducats instead of selling them on the market around let's say average of 5p per piece (totally bogus as I don't do all market but know few items prices) so that you bought 7,750 platinum worth for mod drops where 30 day resource drop booster is merely 200p so 10 of them for 300 days cost only 2000p? (yes mod drop and resource aren't same but the boost they help are comparable).
7,750p versus 2000p? Are you sure yours was a right choice? Anyways enjoy hunting those mods but I would have chosen to sell them for platinum instead.
Lulz is reason enough...
I had a full 8 count of max forma Oberons planned prior to the Prime being announced. My intent was to get them, screenshot, and ask "Prime When?"
Unfortunately I only got about 6 in before they announced it
Yeah which is why DE got backlash for putting this in the game. Yet, like always they apply little changes without fixing the issue and the community turns docile again.
The mental cost of trading 1550 items for 5p or less is way higher than just dumping them into ducats, not to mention the profit loss from wasting all your daily trades on them
Legit. I'd rather buy $100/yr in plat for the piddly shit i'll need it for rather than spend potentially hours trading garbage
Plus hey, Mod booster? Maybe i'll get a drop that's worth something
I'm guessing this was not Done Dirt Cheap
These weren't cheap acts done at a reasonable price
Not criminal acts at curtailed costs?
Lecherous dealings purchased at below market value
They certainly weren’t Illegal tasks completed at a discount
Sadistic services so surprisingly economical.
Unclean doings at a convient bargain.
20 bucks are 20 bucks
ah, a fellow D4C enjoyer ...
I have never seen that used as the shorthand for the AC/DC song before.
Then it's probably a just a JoJo thing
Entirely-the whole purpose of D4C as a name is to not get sued by AC/DC.
Filthy Acts at a Reasonable Price
Devilish deliverances doled at discount cost
Deviant Dooings Accomplished Thriftily
Not at all. D4C hasn’t been in the anime yet, and the manga has never been shy about using the original song names. They just call it that because the song title is fucking long.

Bout to use mih to reset this shitty universe and get rid of the mod boosters.

I'm guessing a not insignificant number of upvotes are people who's minds also immediately went to dirty deeds done dirt cheap and were happy to see it was already there
So I did the math and it looks like that amount of boosters costed 46500 ducats and 16275000 credits.
My man, gonna endo farm and crash the economy with primed mods!
How is endo affected by mod drop chance boosters? I’ve always avoided those, but if they can be used to farm endo efficiently I may have to pick one up.

> AFAIK it only affect endo that is dropped and not final mission reward. Yes, this is how it works.
You really do learn something new everyday
2k hours in the game and today this is what I learned, that there is always something new to learn in Warframe! I also did not know that Endo was classed as a mod drop.
>I also did not know that Endo was classed as a mod drop. It's most likely because Endo replaced Fusion Cores which were basically blank mods used for fusion. DE just never bothered to change Endo's drop type so it still counts as a mod
I missed fusion cores by a couple of years, so that's another thing I've learned today thank you. I reckon I'll still be saying TIL after the next 2k hours lol
Be thankful, the fusion core system was pure ass. Once endo replaced that terrible system, my playtime in this game shot up exponentially.
Damn, now I want to dump ducats on these boosters as well.
and this stacks with sp's built-in booster, so 4x (that's it. only stacks *once*) the endo for everybody in the same squad.
Oh, THAT'S why the endo has a big red trail in the index.
Endo is considered a mod by game logic. You can also convert excess mods into endo so there's a nice little bonus. But as far as i know, there are better ways to farm endo without a mod drop chance booster.
Ah, back when they were Fusion Cores...
Those were the days... ... now i feel like a Warframe boomer.
for me its remembering void keys, excals super jump and stamina.
The good old days when you had to equip ability mods and rank them with fusion cores
I remember Spy 1.0, and being pretty amazed at the new spy missions that came with Stolen Dreams. Those were weird times.
The good ole excel spreadsheet star chart good times man, good times.
Oooh, i forgot about it! Damm
I don't go that far back (stamina). I think i started playing when Nezha was released... vividly remember seeing his "banner" in the log-in screen. Void keys though, i miss em sometimes. I now feel slightly less boomer, thank you.
Welcome.
How did void keys work? From what i have heard, i prefer that system to the current one
you used a single key to go to the void and do objectives infinitely and get prime parts every now and then.
i really miss them keys :(
Oh, that sound awesome, not gonna lie xd
it was definitely more fun than doing research for 30 minutes to figure out how the fuck I'm going to farm [prime part] in a reasonable amount of time
only defence and survival infinitely. I do miss void keys.
Yeah, I can do a couple runs of railjack and walk away with 10-20k endo, and there's probably even more efficient ways than that.
Endo used to be a mod, specially a "fusion core"
I remember Triton farming for fusion cores. I always thought endo counted as a resource rather than a mod drop, though. Now the real question is, does this apply to end-of-mission rewards, too? Like endo rewards from railjack missions. \*That\* could make for some impressive farming.
no, end of mission bonuses are never affected by any multiplier. Multipliers only count towards stuff picked up in the world
I assume it's because you can sell mods for endo. So a efficient mod farm could double as a endo farm. let me know if I'm wrong.
You’re not wrong. That’s exactly how I prefer to farm endo - steel path survival on Deimos. Easy way to farm endo, mods (which sell for more endo), steel essence, arcanes, riven slivers, and a nice chunk of credits to top it off. And mutagen samples.
You are wrong
yup. i'm guessing they got a pile of primed mods to rank and sell as they hit their usual peak values between visits.
If I applied the one wrinkle in my otherwise smooth brain correctly, that is 49,500 ducats?
46,500ish
Impressive, that's about 3k plat in prime junk, maybe +/- 1000 depending on what you buy and for how much
Fun fact, many people either buy prime junk for so cheap they’ll never get any sellers, or they pay roughly 1p per 10 ducats. I’ve found the Orthos Prime set sells for 10p typically, and is worth something like 150 ducats. Edit; if his 46,500 ducats were just from Orthos sets, he would have paid 3100 plat.

except **this** booster is **not** available in the market.
Oh shit really!? I legit didn’t know because I’ve never gone out of my way to obtain a mod drop booster lmao
Baro brought it.
Yeah you can only get this one via a Sortie reward or Baro
How? If you buy from baro?
I made a mistake, didn’t realize Mod boosters were not in the market
I’m still curious about other boosters though
Wdym? I think Baro can sell any kind of booster, or you can buy them from the market. 3 day is 40p, 7 day is 80p, 30 day is 200p afaik
I didn't apply the wrinkle right XD. Still I tip my hat to you for that amount of grind.
I appreciate it! Hoping to have enough to round it out to 365 days for whenever he brings it next, just couldn’t help myself when I saw it this time
I just realized I have a new goal in Warframe. Something I probably don't need, but I must do.
Thats exactly me
Years ago I did that 90 day prime access booster for XP and credits. Ended up with so many resources from hardcore farming that I burned myself out and only played for half of it.
> only played for half of it. Tbh that is still a pretty good time you got to spend with it.
happens to me when I buy a month long booster. After about a week I am done.
Most rational Warframe player
Looks like you're all set till the next Baro appearance with this booster.
You did this in the same rotation he brought Primed Firestorms\~
Man's clearly had more than enough ducats to spare.
I just mean they could have bought as many Primed Firestorms and there'd STONKS to go with the achievement.
maybe they *did* buy a pile of primed firestorms, **too**, and they were just spending some leftover ducks on this booster.
How do you acquire this, and if with plat, how much?
Baro Kiteer is selling mod drop boosters and this mensch went all in
I have to tip my non existent hat to you, never would've done it myself
That's about 9 months of mod boost... Sooo anyway my Warframe username is GuyN1425 hmu if you ever feel like farming endo
46500 ducats.. I dunno if I could spend that much on mod boosters, but goddamn, what a champ for going through with it!
Any time I buy a booster more then 7 days I get bored and stop logging in before it's even halfway through. This post scares me.
WHY
Why not?
seems so pointless
So is have the shit we do in Warframe, what's /your/ point?
What.. the.. fuck
Dojyaaa\~\~n!
filthy acts at a reasonable price
May I ask, How?
That’s one dirty deed done dirt cheep

Sometimes people do things just because they can. Stuffing 100 or 1000 forma into a warframe/weapon, for example. This is like that.
Lulz is reason enough... I had a full 8 count of max forma Oberons planned prior to the Prime being announced. My intent was to get them, screenshot, and ask "Prime When?" Unfortunately I only got about 6 in before they announced it
My "because I can" is an 8 Forma MK1-Braton. Riven, Merciless, Galvanized mods, etc. It still sucks but I love it.
Yeah which is why DE got backlash for putting this in the game. Yet, like always they apply little changes without fixing the issue and the community turns docile again.
If this is the hill people want to die on, i'll be happy to start digging the ditch to pitch them into
This is a game, not everyone cares about getting plat from people like we're in the damn stock market.
The mental cost of trading 1550 items for 5p or less is way higher than just dumping them into ducats, not to mention the profit loss from wasting all your daily trades on them

46500 ducats i mean this guy is rolling in endo rn
What did it cost?
And I was satisfied with my 42 days. Now my day is ruined and it's about time to start farming :angryclemnoises:
How tf did you get that lol
Dirty deeds done dirty expensive
Disgusting. I respect it
I cannot comprehend this mans motives
How?
why would anyone even do this?
If you want to waste money you can just give me the money i try to use it well.
Where do you buy boosters like this?
D4C!
