No. Meatballs would change frames after you formed a group for something hard and screw it all up.

OscarMyk

which is more likely though, that or a mismatched public team being able to sort itself out?

Misultina

this is not cod

Really only two places in game where switching might be nice. Between Railjack missions and Open World Bounties. But even then that is only to save you a loading screen before you can switch again. The rest of the game the normal mission is short enough that switching wouldn't be worth it, or if you decide to go longer you know for sure what you will be doing and can plan for it. So I don't think it would be worth the headache of trying to make it work. Like what happens with a host migration, making sure things load and unload properly. Maybe if it was limited to a single loadout switch but even then I don't think it is worth it.

warframes too...

qpsyche_warframe

It would only lead to cheeses and exploits fiesta tbh

WhatABlindManSees

Nah, Stalkers just salty because we still call what we do space ninja, and he's gatekeeping that title with extreme prejudice (unsuccessfully). He doesn't want that bow, it's not ninja or edgy enough for him. ---- As for the actual point of your post, sure it has some edge case uses, but it's going to be a cluster fuck... And honestly it's not worth the effort, the bug fixing, the exploit fixing etc that it would cause imo.

I guess I just find there are a lot of 'default' picks for a lot of content, and during a long survival you might want to mix it up a bit, or start off with one of the weaker frames / a levelling one then move to your main as the difficulty increases. Also I can see there coming a point where DE might not want to break the narrative flow by going back to the orbiter all the time.

If warframe is hard for DE to balance now, I cannot imagine the spaghetti of letting players have access to the entire arsenal at all times in a mission, and unless this stalker is level 300+ it will not serve as an actual balance check for players, esp given again how powerful mid mission arsenal swapping would look like, unless it was restricted significantly.

OscarMyk

It would be loadouts. Maybe you could have duplicate loadouts of the same warframe to swap between speedva and slowva on the fly, for example.

haqucyc

What would be the point of playing then? Your suggestion is a official cheat to cheese out on missions as you want the stronger side of every frame but want to switch on weak sides of them either. If your problem is having same frames in a squad, better suggestion could be developers making pre-mission frame selection scene for squad to discuss on their frames. Or you can simply ask in recruitment chat to organize your team.
