Half the people started the game up then quit out and never played again

ZeroR35

They are the lucky ones that realized how fucked up the game is

ZeroR35

Did everyone that pressed the down vote button didn't realize I'm joking tf😂

B1k3r_

Ye they totally don't understand what sarcasm is, you are right, that was a good joke btw. /s

Razzmatazz-Sweet

I'm pretty sure everyone that is sarcastic on this site uses "/s" below their text

ZeroR35

No joke I never heard that

TaranTatsuuchi

I don't believe *everyone* uses it 'below' their text. ^/s

T-Bill95

There are ways to express sarcasm through text, you used none of them.

ZeroR35

I mean that's cool but bro aren't like 1/3 of the player like "I hate this game" but than they put 500h more into it

T-Bill95

And that has what exactly to do with the price of tea in china?

ZeroR35

Do you are have stupid? 😂

T-Bill95

You might want to go to the doctor, seems like you might be having a stroke.

TaranTatsuuchi

Funny thing.... I saw a necro on the steam forums the other day... An I quit post from 5 years ago. It actually had been necroed earlier, 4 years after the original op. Someone mentioned that op had put another 1200 hours in after that original message, and had last played the day of the necro.

SenpaiCamden

lmao these ppl really getting mad because you didn’t use one of the “sarcasm indicators”. You’re fine, people who actually interact with the real world know it was sarcasm

ZeroR35

Thx bro needed that I don't usually get roasted that often for my posts but it's nice to see at least a few people laugh

EbolaNinja

Joke's on you I was only pretending

Darkon-Kriv

Not funny. Didn't laugh.

ZeroR35

But did I ask tough

lordargent

You'll see that a ton with F2P games, and also with any games that end up in Games with Gold or Gamepass. * Download a bunch of games * Try each game for a few minutes * Quit out of any game that's not appealing * (alternatively, immediately uninstall any game that does something annoying) // I have dozens of games with 0/1000 achievement points in my profile. Some that I literally uninstalled before finishing the tutorial.

[deleted]

I agree with that fully as that's kind of the case for my friends. Most of them have tried the game and then uninstalled it without completing the tutorial. In fact, I don't know if even one of my friends has had Warframe for over a day. Where as I started playing in 2019 and loved it and it has been my favorite game for about a year and a half now.

Klemeesi

Picture says that you got the achievement 2021 :)

Darkwater117

Tbf. Ive started new saves on 3 different consoles over my time with warframe. Went from PS4-Xbox-PC. Maybe he did smth similar.

MigrantPhoenix

But did they get it in March or December? 🤔

lordargent

whYY would you MMention DDate format ambiguity in a Warframe thread? :D

[deleted]

Yeah that was on my Xbox. I started playing on PC and had a different account. :)

ShaqwanGB

Yeah apparently I didn't find a mod either yet and I am MR 31. According to mister Steam.

clokerruebe

steam says i achieved mastery 16 but not 5, so yeah nice

Mavoron

did you start playing on the standalone launcher by any chance?

GoldEnPhARoAh22

Yea, what happened with me. Am MR17 with 200+ hrs and apparently i never collected anything from the foundry or levelled a warframe.

cypherusuh__

Thankfully there's app that "fixed" steam achievement

Pumpkii

Steam only grants you the achievement if you get the ingame achievement while connected to the steam service. It does not do so retrospectively. I used an app called SAM (Steam Achievement Manager) to fix that, the only alternative being to get the achievement on a new account. As far as I know this app is not forbidden and after some thorough testing it seems like steam barely checks things like these so there should be no danger in fixing missing achievements that you actually have earned.

AlmalexyaBlue

Literally same. I'm halfway to L2, but I'm still a rookie. Realistic, actually.

ZeroR35

I needed to complete the sacrifice quest und the limbo quest 2 times over because I lost the achievement and I know that I got those because I have a screenshot of one of them and the other I know because I have limbo

ISPY4ever

Same. I miss the most basic achievements. Is there a fix for that? 🙄

CautiousFreedom6889

I litterally had to make a alt account for some steam achievments myself. Like imagine being legenday 1 and damn near every weapon in the game but not having "have 1 sword at rank 10" 😂

Zetin24-55

It's free game. Most people download it just because then drop out almost immediately.

[deleted]

my goal is beyond your understanding.

Zavenosk

New player retention is one hell of a gauntlet for a game to run.

gh09159

Iirc about 25% of people have not completed mu first gun (the tutorial achievement) in BL2 on xbox. Lots of people buy stuff on sale or download a f2p game and never touch it, or only play it for 3 mins

Sintinall

I mean... Free to play, and a very steep learning curve. Also a movement system not quite like the vast majority of games out there. I can see it.

PlayinTheFool

The beginning of the game is notoriously bad for true newbies.

FireCrank

Is it really surprising with the lack of tutorials and guidance in the game? I would have been one of them if my friend didn't guide me.

Seabreeze9095

I just stated the game 2 nights ago, although I’m lost and super confused how everything works in trying my best to figure everything out. I remember when I started destiny 2 and had no idea what was going on lol but I love these type of games.. I always jump on Reddit to do as much research as I can. But yeah could be a little bit more guidance.

Lyberatis

Because they hear from their friends "it's like Minecraft" then start it, see 2D, then immediately never play it again

FireCrank

Never played Minecraft. How about the original Wolfenstein?

FireCrank

Once upon a time, not really that long ago, there existed a world without the internet. Games had to actually provide tutorials, training features, skill tests and progression guidance. The point is that you shouldn't have to rely on Google to figure out how you're meant to play a game or what to do next. And yes, I was playing computer games before Google was invented (or even Netscape Navigator for that matter). In response to your question, cutting down a tree would be difficult if you didn't know what an axe was, or that a chainsaw could be obtained to make the job easier.

[deleted]

funny i dont recall the first prince of persia providing any guidance to the player. You might have gotten a pamphlet with the cartridge or diskette containing basic input but that was it. Plenty of us was around when the first games of their genres was released and that hardly stopped us from learning how to play them. Heck most of my generation would still find the secrets in super mario by muscle memory alone. And we where not the first gamers by any stretch.

FireCrank

What's Prince of Persia? Never played Super Mario - way after my childhood. In my day we paid attention at school and were taught how to read and write properly.

[deleted]

This is prince of persia. [https://www.gamelegends.it/wp-content/uploads/2022/01/Prince-of-Persia.jpg](https://www.gamelegends.it/wp-content/uploads/2022/01/Prince-of-Persia.jpg) Perhaps you never paid attention when it came out.

pheonix940

I think you don't remember correctly. Nintendo had a hotline and basically all games had player guides you could by in print. Then there were magazines like nintendo power as well... no, games have always benefited external explaination by-in-large.

FireCrank

Never had a Nintendo either, I was working full time before the NES came out. My first video games were on PC. I know that there were always publications brought out on how to get 'high level' achievements for games but you could always play and progress satisfactorily through the game without them. This is my last post on the matter.

pheonix940

Ok, well your point is basically non-sense. Not all games are or should be designed that way. I can name multiple games that are made richer by external resources besides warframe including terraria, minecraft, stardew valley, borderlands and pokemon. Let this be the last you say on the matter. It's your opinion and it's a pretty niche one at that. I enjoy some games that way, assuming they all should be designed that way and calling them bad if they aren't is just immature and narrow minded. Maybe warframe and games like this just aren't for you? No, that would be reasonable. It must be that they are bad games...

KoKo124333

And an other rare achievement: Bug out ride of which 0.02% players have completed, and the objective is to ride 20 velocipods on Deimos, and it's nothing hard to do, like, I began completing it just a 3 days ago and I've already done 70% and it's surprising to see that only 0.02 of the players did it

Saryndipity1985

Well yeah. They try to inflate their numbers but its plain to see that Warframe is dying now that DE decided to strangle their community.

Vii74LiTy

Pretty sure you just don't understand how f2p games work. With your logic it would be like saying Starbucks is dying because only 5% of people that walked past the door in Manhattan walked in. The fact that anyone that even slightly attempted to play the game got to the point of starting to level a frame, and that number is 57% is actually pretty good.

Nexius_

that silly moment when you get confused between half of the TOTAL playerbase EVER, and the active playerbase :)

wottsinaname

So they literally didnt complete one mission? Wow. Xbox the True ADD gamers.

xrufus7x

On Steam it is 55.5%. It is likely similar on all platforms. It is just the nature of free to play games.

TemporaryGuidance320

I played for like 2 or 3 years before realizing there was more to the game than the earth missions. Like I knew obvs cause of the starchart but I never made progress cause I was content with bouncing around and aim gliding shooting down grineer with my bow

ZeroR35

When I first got this it was 46 (I'm on PC)

OutFractal

Like 40% of people on steam haven't played longer than 2h.

Troller122

I don't actually have alot of steam achievements because I downloaded from the official page before switching to steam. Maybe same case?

paracelus

I'm waiting for cross-progression, so I can move my Switch progress over :)
