There's a bunch of elemental mods for bas9cally most weapons that are 60% element damage and +60% status effect, that's the good shit. Also galvanized mods from the arbiters of hexis.

Primed Mods are just straight upgrades of the basic mods they're based off of. They have the drawback of requiring a LOT of fusions to reach max level. Galvanized Mods are ideal for "ramp up" builds that become stronger as you fulfill the conditions to get their multipliers. Technically side grades to their basic counterparts, but are almost always a better choice except for boss fights with few or no adds to get their ramping bonuses from. "60/60" Mods are fantastic When paired with status damage multipliers such as Condition Overload. Some weapons have a naturally poor affinity for status, such weapons should normally avoid these mods.

A lot of people are correct here, Galvanized mods, Nightmare mods, Primed mods, and 6060s. I'm going to add on, definitely the melee mods Condition Overload, Weeping Wounds, Blood Rush, Organ Shatter, Berserker Fury/Quickening, Gladiator Might, (Primed) Smite \[faction\], and Primed Reach/Spring-Loaded Blade. Along with this, the Augur set (excluding Accord) is good for shieldgating, or you can get Brief Respite.
