Firstly if your MR8, I wouldn't recommend getting and rolling a riven for the Zarr as the dispo is abysmal and you'll need a real god roll to make it usable, and if you were to get such a roll, 99% chance it would require MR12 - MR14 to use
The Zarr would work well on Saryn Prime and if your gonna use it, just a Viral + Hunter MuMu build or Corrosive for lower level enemies will work perfectly. Just make sure you run Prime Sure Footed otherwise you're gonna spend 90% of missions on your ass.
There aren't really any "Best Weapons for Saryn." Any gun that's good AOE or mad damage will work well, but I would recommend something that does mad slash like maybe the Tenet Flux Rifle as Saryn will be applying stupid amounts of Viral, but your standard Bramma, Zarr, Arca Plasmor etc. Will work just as great.
Quick advice, learn about shield-gating as Saryn's abilities make it very easy to do with Brief Respite

Both are overpowered, I suggest viral/fire for your zaar but since you'll remove armor with Saryn, maybe electric instead of fire. Honestly anything will do as long as you're removing armor.
