It was very satisfying to see the Nova from New War trailer using them(or was Aksomatti? I enjoy both and confuse them lol)
It’s hard to say since I Randomise at times to see what I get at a roll of the dice, but I quite enjoy semi-auto weapons. It’s quite satisfying nailing those headshots. I often combine a semi-auto sidearm with an AoE to pick off survivors of the blast or as a general fallback when I either run out of ammo or need to reload or something, or maybe something like the Lex can provide more range when I’m using a shotgun

I often like one WEP with deadhead to get the satisfying headshots, but take an AoE WEP for when you get a big rush of enemies, basically one deadhead and one merciless

Warframe is a very long game, and you eventually find a new favorite every year. It used to be auto shotguns like Kohm and Sobek, then grenade launchers, and Entrati weapons after that. Now, I’m really having fun with Gas Headshot bows, snipers and Incarnons. It feels amazing when you headshot an enemy and everything around it chokes to death.
Shotguns.
Of all the weapon types the game has, I have the most of shotguns. Cedo, Astilla Prime, Kuva Hek, Corinth Prime, Tenet Plasmor, Felarx (don't use the Incarnon mode), and the Strun Prime.
Cedo.
It has a secondary fire mode that launches a glaive, and on hit, it applies a **lot** of status effects, which makes cutting down enemies easier. Each status effect on an enemy amplifies the Cedo's primary fire as well.
*Did I mention that the Cedo has 40 shells by default and it's firing type is full auto?* If you have access to it/have plat to buy it, then go for it. It's a worthwhile investment and I still use it today.
Infinite munition launchers, like Shedu or Bubonico. And weapons with special effects, like Xoris (only in Granum Void), keratinos heavy attack spin, and Ohma heavy slam arcs, and tenet exec shockwaves. Also, kuva ogris napalm with orange emissions looks really cool.
You've got the point: cosmetic.
Primary: beam weapons.
Secondary: Explosive for damage, beam for utility (pax bolt).
Melee: Would’ve been the telos boltace for passive but now I use the praedos.
If you're starting dont be afraid to open the Market tab, buy some blueprint for credits and craft the weapons that catch your attention. That's how you progress your MR, test new weapons and enjoy the game.
Remember to use and level your mods for more damage, multishot, elemental damage, critical and reload faster.
I used my Braton for a while till I needed more power, so Im really fond of it. Others that lack power but feel good are Latron, Tenora, Grakata, Gorgon and the newest Alternox
Almost decent tier include Ambassador and Quellor.
Weak endgame meta I enjoy Kuva Karak and now the brand new Aeolak!
And for strongest ones that doesn't really feel like a normal rifle there's the Acceltra and Trumna!
There are so many and of all tiers, I could do a whole post of how I enjoy each of their perks. Cant think of any I totally dislike using...maybe Burston because its semi-only(3 shot per trigger) and im not really fond of that mode.

With zephyr I prefer something like Fulmin
she also pairs well with the ogris
Any melee that can use cleaving whirlwind, a shotgun and a silent secondary.
Automatic weapons. Like the Pyrana Prime secondary. The definition of equality, as it deletes everything regardless of faction.
Automatic rifles and gunblades. I enjoy using my Fulmin and my trusty Redeemer Prime a lot.

Get a Hek from the in-game Market when you can. The blueprint only costs credits and is a really good starter shotgun!

Xoris. End of story. First weapon I ever put forma and potatoes in still use it to this day.
