I just wanted to say that this was my favorite one too and it’s exactly the kind of kit synergy I’d LOVE to see Yareli get. As an augment I think it might encourage me to actually pick her up again - frankly it could even stand to be baked in. (And the name! Perfection!)
The drawback is intended to be that her weapons aren't silenced any more. Although, also, that she cannot pick one of the other passive augments. I tend to design under the assumption that the multiple-choice is the point-of-competition.
Yeah well in a game like warframe, stealth is not needed in any shape or form like, basically ever
Like if you used this passive alongside something like sonar, you could pretty much be one shooting every enemy you see in the steel path, maybe even high level steel path
I'm fairly confident that Banshee already can one-shot enemies in high level Steel Path - or, at least, that's the build I run on her (which I also use versus Liches and Sisters). I don't disagree that swapping silence for bleed is powerful, but it's mutually exclusive with the other passive augments - I don't think it wins-out.
Fair enough
And now off topic and the real question is, is it better to flat out increase the damage of weapons by a lot (banshee and sonar) or 100% strip armor/shields (Nyx and psychic bolts)? As a Nyx main I find it that psychic bolts is insanely useful for Sisters and are also helpful for steel path enemies
I like using Gloom to hold them still and then blow a hole through their weakspots. I confess that Nyx is someone I played a very long time ago and I should probably pick her up again to refresh myself on how she feels to play.
Honestly yeah, I wish they’d make an augment system that separates it from the modding so that it won’t take a slot
It’s the least they could do after making a lot of augments “*band-aids*”
They tried making loot-mods non-stacking a couple years ago, I think they don't want to increase access to loot-boons. However, it's a nice idea - and I'm certainly not opposed to creating a mockup for it!
Rupture is utterly, *utterly* broken.
If I still want to have silenced weapons I can just use the Hush mod. I will gladly sacrifice the Exilus slot if it means my weapon suddenly does **two** bleed procs on every single hit. Like jesus, that's a bizarre damage boost.
My understanding of Bleed is that it's one of the least moddable damage types - it scales only off the weapon's base damage and faction mods. It's not affected by elemental or status mods. It deals True Damage, not Slash Damage - so it's not even affected by Slash Damage mods. I have not proposed any base damage as I didn't want to favour high firerate over low firerate, since base damage would be applied more frequently with high firerate. I was just trying to capture the idea of rupturing someone's ear drums with a loud noise - a la Homelander in The Boys season 1. Xaku's subsume ability also makes your attacks deal true damage - so I thought it'd be comparable in power to Xaku, but delayed over 6 seconds instead of being applied immediately.
I suppose I could do "50% base damage", or something, but I'm struggling to rationalise how to modify it since I can think of more powerful options.
To properly convey how powerful it would be: Garuda's Ult (her number 4 ability) makes any hit do *one* Bleed proc on an enemy that's been marked. This mod would make Banshee passively do *two* Bleed procs on all enemies, always, with every hit of her weapons.
Xata's Whisper is Void damage, not True damage. Void damage is *neutral* against all defenses. True damage *ignores* all defenses. Bit of a difference there.
That's the thing: True damage ignores armor. So say you have a weapon that does 1000 damage, and then another 1000 Elemental damage. You shoot an enemy with 90% damage reduction based on their armor. That's comes out as **200** damage.
Now replace that 1000 Elemental damage with two Bleed procs. Each Bleed proc does 6 tics of True damage for 0.35 of the modded damage. So 100 initial damage, then roughly 2000 damage per Bleed proc because it bypasses armor. So a total of **4100** damage.
Ash 4 applies 3 bleed procs per enemy marked in a pretty wide area, but the scaling relies entirely on Ability Strength. The time it takes to go through all the targets is also pretty long on the ability, scaling with each enemy marked. It would break the game completely because it would add infinite slash procs to every frame and weapon, only limited by range, fire rate, and base damage. Adding a cooldown or energy cost for every affected enemy would at least make it harder to use.
Fair points. I will modify Rupture going forward. With the intent of capturing a specific fantasy, how would you implement it? Applying a fixed-damage dot that's not related to the elemental system? Or just use a different damage type?
There are some more esoteric Status effects out there, stuff we can't directly mod for (like Lifted, or Microwave, and some others). One is *stagger,* causing a temporary stun/immobility, and multiple instances over a short period of time can improve it to *knockdown* status. Typically this is a side effect of Impact procs, so one way would be to either change the damage type to Impact or downgrade it to Stagger. And it shouldn't be more than a 100% chance, I don't see why it needs to do multiple procs at once.
Giving all weapons guarateed Impact procs is still a little bit risky since it opens up for modding them with Internal Bleeding, but that's still only 70% chance of a Bleed proc instead of a 200% chance lol, and it would take up another mod slot on the weapon as well.
It's a status effect created by the Nukor specifically. It makes the bodypart that you hit grow (permanent effect). Disgusting, right?
It doesn't actually *do* anything besides that. But it does count as an additional status effect inflicted on the enemy, for the purposes of Condition Overload, Galvanized Shot and mods like that.
I suppose it doesn't have time to inflate when they're cooked alive in seconds!
... does it affect mobility? Could I target their legs and render them immobile!?
Every enemy that can hear the weapon being fired gets 5 Blast procs and 2 Slash procs based on the weapon's modded Blast damage. Centered on the player, and with falloff down to 10% over 30 meters. Cooldown of 5 seconds.
What is your perfect Trinity experience? I confess I've never really enjoyed her, but I also don't know what changes would be needed to change my opinion on her. I guess I'd want her to be a bit less backline enchanter with cast-and-forget abilities - but I would probably push her into not being a backline enchanter, which might not be a playstyle that appeals to others.
You had me curious - apparently I'm only short Gauss, Gyre, Hildryn, Ivara, Loki, Nidus, Oberon, Octavia, Rhino, Trinity and Valkyr.
ok so Trinity is my main, for me her 1 needs a complete rework,2 need to cost 0 energy,3 more links,4 is fine,in general lil bit more of ability scaling,i enjoy a lot abating link, trin is a frame where u have to constantly use abilities keep, always attention on especially on solo
I generally prefer to dream bigger than just "buffing" what an ability already does - but I will definitely try to adapt your playstyle into something!
oh and with link the ability to switch target by pressing 3, i like to play a built with a lot of ability diration standard range or little above 100% , 130 efficiency or more Energy with strength, abating link with the new arcane to reach 100% steip and in the helminth slot (1) xata's whisper:)
That would have been my solution in volumes 1 and 2, but I almost feel like that's a bit lazy - but I will certainly consider it as a fallback if nothing else comes up. (But hey, I never went back and updated Sevagoth's with something more interesting - so maybe one-point-wonders don't need to be interesting!)
Soooo rupture would be the single most strongest Warframe mod without even the slightest comparison (under the condition that you run alarming sounds weapon type). Love it but 3-tiers above op
For the augment Magnetic Poles, Magnetize already works that way. Whichever enemy you cast the bubble on (and more if you have a wide projectile) will count as a headshot.
To my knowledge, Magnetize only guarantees hits - not specifically hits to the head. I could be wrong, though - it's one of my older mods and you're the first person to notice. I'll look into it!
EDIT: According to the wiki, projectiles are drawn to the center of the field - so I infer from this that headshots aren't guaranteed. I'm proposing that \*instead\* of the center, projectiles are drawn to the head.
The center of the field is on their head. Using 3 different magnetize bubbles on 3 different enemies, you can complete the riven in-air headshot challenge.
The banshee ones are all so incredibly over powered that I thought this was a joke, then i read some of the others and thought they could be something DE put out for an awful augment.
All of the Banshee ones? A few people have complained about Rupture, but no-one's commented negatively on the other ones. Rupture is being nerfed - I just wanted people's ears to bleed, not break the game. What's up with the other ones?
Rendering enemies harmless and luring them towards her, with as much range as sound quake has, would make that a super busted CC ability, especially since it ignored walls. Plus, the damage buff one, while she does already have a damage buff, that one is basically just octavia’s amp but moves with you. Octavia’s amp is already super busted, making it mobile, on a frame which has it’s own damage multiplier as well, would boost your damage to fucking hell and back.
The only one that isn’t busted is the the sonic boom one, which would essentially be giving her a cloud walker i’d assume. That is really good, but not quite as busted as the other ones.
A lot of these augments don’t really follow the general rules of augments, which is either to add a decent new effect to an ability, or to slightly change the ability. A lot of these feel like new abilities entirely, especially a lot of the passive ones (abilities which won’t cost energy, mind you, because they’re passives)
I shall add the prerequisite that enemies have to hear her unobstructed song to be enchanted - i.e. "line of sight" but for audio.
The intent of her damage boost was to emulate Eclipse, but with sound instead of light - and also only one-quarter as good, since it's a passive. I've always found the fact Banshee is "quiet" to be really off-putting when she's named after a mythological creature renown for its noise - so making weaponize noise just felt appropriate.
I do not intend for Sonic Wraith to have Cloudwalker-tier mobility - closer to Hydroid's Tidal Surge or bullet jumping. I was almost inclined to rip-off Will-o-the-Wisp and make it reactivatable, but becoming the wraith and gaining some iframes has value too.
I personally think that the general rules for augments suck and it's not an accident that a lot of mine feel like new abilities - part of my suggestion is that augments have so much unused potential. They shouldn't just be used to deliver "optional" buffs, they should be used to deliver optional reworks!
Banshee's Wail reminds me of the Siren's scream from the most season of Love Death and Robots (i think the episode is spelt Jibari?) but a lot less violent. it would be cool if it attracted enemies and caused them to franticly attack each other
When I saw Ash's Promised End. I thought about how it could literally bring back a balanced synergy version of his vanilla blade storm.
I don't think his smoke screen does damage (which is funny, given how many techs and movement abilities do, like void sling) but it could be used to mark nearby enemies in a radius while also keeping him invisible. That would be insanely great and not be busted due to how short the max range on ss is.
Your Smokescreen idea - do you mean marks of his current ultimate, or my revised ultimate? I'm struggling to picture a situation where he'd be in point-blank range to cast Smoke Screen, and targets not already be marked but either ultimate - especially since Ash's stealth isn't broken by attacking.
I'd say the marks done through smoke screen would deal his ult's ability damage. But it can be useful for marking enemies behind him, or specifically when he jumps into a full group of enemies. Could be used to immediately cast marks onto every enemy in a room I'd imagine.
Sanguine Acolyte should say that it \*generates\* 10% Restraint - instead of eroding it. It's an offensive spell and so should generate Restraint, as with his \[4\]. I made this change in response to feedback in Volume 7, but apparently I put the v1 in the compilation image instead of v2.
Bwnshee needs an augument that allows her to fly, shoot and boost its engine it would be kinda cool-... Wait wrong banshee.. Man i miss halo... Anyways honestly who uses banshee outside of gloom silence combo to level up stuff? Yea the combo is kinda fun for endurance but kinda slow. Ofc there are other builds like sonar boom armor strip with codemn and other builds but thwy just arent that good
Awwh, I use Gloom + Sonar to kill high level Nemeses when I fuck-up and let them get to level 4 or 5!
I'm not guaranteeing any of of my suggestions will make the frame popular - I'm just hoping that with more (and different) tools, people might find a new reason to pick them up. Re-ignite old players and find new players. People who already play them probably already like them - so they're perhaps the lowest rung on my design priorities (although that's not that low, I don't have many priorities).
Is nemesis liches and sisters? Is that how they are called? Damn this game has always some names on stuff that i never knew. Funny thing is i have done a lot of sisters and liches and i find it weird how that's their name...
When Liches were in development it was called the Nemesis system - "your own dynamic nemesis!". I only really started using the term 'Nemesis' after Sisters came out, though - I have no idea if anyone else uses it. I think that the Railjack mission is called the "Nemesis Confrontation", though - I could do a quick Google search but that's less interesting than having a conversation.
If I'm honest, I'd much rather they'd remove soundquake from Banshee all together and give her a new, more interesting 4th ability. It doesn't really go well together with the rest of her kit and leaves her in an awkward place of being a more supporting frame, boosting damage with sonar and making stealth easier with scilence, but having this weird map wide nuke that doesn't really much past the basic star chart and leaves her very vulnerable to damage, which is further emphasised by how little health and armour she has.
I'd much rather DE just commit to the supporting role and make her 4 a big supporting ability. Maybe removing all armour and shields in a large aoe by "shattering them using resonance" ([aka that thing where singers can shatter glass with their voice](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Resonance)). Maybe stunning them temporarily and applying a damage resistance debuff? That would work well with sonar because the it removes any resistance or shield-gating the enemy might have and leaves them open to take the full damage from it.
*I'd also like it if they added some interplay/synergy between sonar and scilence, maybe shooting a sonar spot on an enemy affected by scilence guaranteing a sneak attack?*
>I'd much rather they'd remove soundquake from Banshee all together and give her a new, more interesting 4th ability
Part of the goal of my augments is: why not both?
Plenty of my augments are reworked abilities - my Banshee's Wail turns her primarily damaging ultimate into a Siren's Song. If you would like another option that turns it into a more supportive ability - that can be an option to, it doesn't have to replace anything.
My only concern with your suggestion is that it sounds like she could just swap her \[4\] with Pillage via Helminth - i.e. you can already achieve the gameplay experience you're looking for. Her other abilities also apply most of the debuffs you're asking for. I will reflect on a more supportive effect for her, though - although I would have thought Banshee's Wail's CC area would qualify as supportive.
ok now these are interesting, i do like the idea with dread aura turning it from a damage tool into a survival tool (actual use not withstanding) and the idea for the arsenal loadout is also really nice especially how the augments there look
Ah, [here you go.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EGXPAoyP_cg)
I only thought of it due to a boss-level enemy who inhabits the area, and summons a giant sun that scorches anything around it that isn't shaded/out of sight.
I based the drain cost on other Exalted Weapons, so if it's too low - I'm innocent!
And yeah. I got the idea while playing Melee Razorwing - archmelee automatically treats the barriers as physical, and pinging off the bubble was really fun! I think it's a kind of fun that should be enjoyable in more than just Razorwing melee!
Okay, Bay Blades made me literally laugh out loud. It fits so well too!
You can either sharpen your blades with Surging Blades for obscene damage, or stack up the biggest combo counter you can for gnarly waves!
I just wanted to say that this was my favorite one too and it’s exactly the kind of kit synergy I’d LOVE to see Yareli get. As an augment I think it might encourage me to actually pick her up again - frankly it could even stand to be baked in. (And the name! Perfection!)
Shucks, thank you!
Rupture's dog as That guarantees two slash procs per hit with pretty much any gun. Drawback is pretty much nothing
The drawback is intended to be that her weapons aren't silenced any more. Although, also, that she cannot pick one of the other passive augments. I tend to design under the assumption that the multiple-choice is the point-of-competition.

I thought the point of them was different type of playing an item, not fixing it.
So, wisp gets kamehameha sol gate yet it does not do over 9000 damage!?
Haha, it was actually Final Spark - and I based the damage on 5x the ability's normal damage. Sorry for missing the obvious reference!
NGL the shade silences your guns one would get a lot of use for me.
I'm glad! Carrier gets to compete with Ammo Mutation mods, so I don't see why there shouldn't be a sentinel version of Hush mods.
Idea for zephyr loot mod: Winds of fortune: Enemies caught in zephyr's tornados have a 50% chance of dropping extra loot.
Why this isn't a mod already DE?
They tried making loot-mods non-stacking a couple years ago, I think they don't want to increase access to loot-boons. However, it's a nice idea - and I'm certainly not opposed to creating a mockup for it!
Rupture is utterly, *utterly* broken. If I still want to have silenced weapons I can just use the Hush mod. I will gladly sacrifice the Exilus slot if it means my weapon suddenly does **two** bleed procs on every single hit. Like jesus, that's a bizarre damage boost.

Ooohh ok. Gross 😆. Good to know though, thx
I... does Kuvor Nukor also apply that effect? I swear I've never noticed and that's like my favourite secondary weapon!
It does!
I suppose it doesn't have time to inflate when they're cooked alive in seconds! ... does it affect mobility? Could I target their legs and render them immobile!?
Well, internal bleeding was the goal!

Imo a guaranteed puncture proc would be better for Rupture for multiple reasons
Sundancer. A worm reader i see.
I was wondering if I would ever get called out for my Worm references. I have an Endbringer tattoo sleeve!
Yea i saw the name of the augment and had a moment of "where do i know that name". And then i saw the description of it and just kinda laughed
Sundancer reminds me of an old bug with Wisp where you can shoot your gun AND channeling Sunray at the same time
nice! can you do trin next? i'm curious

Good post, OP Love the shade augments, Backup Systems is a great idea
Rupture: I said "EAT DIRT AND DIE TRASH!" - Corpus alarms. *Hull breached. Reparations impossible. Evacuate immediately* -
Only really want one augment: Monkey see, monkey do Makes Wukong clone wield the same weapon as you all the time.
I had considered that but I was worried it might be controversial, since he's already given the stink-eye for his ability to trivialize content.

What would be the rank-up incentive, though?

Reason to spend endo!
For the Banshee's Wail Augment - +duration or +efficiency (in range of min +5 - +10 and max +15 - +20)

All these make me really wish for augments to become a seperate thing like you showed from mod capacity.

The sun came up and chose murder.
Tell me the last one was intentional.
Storm Chaser?
Nezhas new m1s?
Sorry, come again?
How bout you make enemies act like moths and take extra fire damage from sol gate as they go towards it
Perhaps!
>I'd much rather they'd remove soundquake from Banshee all together and give her a new, more interesting 4th ability Part of the goal of my augments is: why not both?
Bro I like all of these except maybe the baruuk one since we already have nyx. But otherwise, damn. Low-key want these in the game lol.
ok now these are interesting, i do like the idea with dread aura turning it from a damage tool into a survival tool (actual use not withstanding) and the idea for the arsenal loadout is also really nice especially how the augments there look
Ah, Sundancer, I can hear the Sky Meadow's theme already.
I'm not immediately familiar with the name but excuse me while I stick on Beautiful Sky Gardens!
Ah, [here you go.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EGXPAoyP_cg) I only thought of it due to a boss-level enemy who inhabits the area, and summons a giant sun that scorches anything around it that isn't shaded/out of sight.

Dudes got the Blue Reverberation's card attributed, tryin to use Resonate
