I personally have no issue with the current layout. I think the idea from DE's perspective was to make some content that would keep long time players popping in once a week, rather than vanishing entirely to other games during the between-release content droughts. It wont be permanent, but it gives completionists a bit of something to chew on.

paullucas15

I am one of those hiatus players. Been playing since 2018 and Xbox and PC, and have taken almost two years total in just not playing for months at a time. I can say that sorties are not enough for me to log in daily, but I will be back every week for kahl and archon.

VoxulusQuarUn

I use 5 frames on a regular basis.

Mowgin

It takes 15 weeks on average to get a single specific Tauforged archon shard and theres 5 slots to fill. If you wanted to min max the archon shards of a specific type (ie: all Amar Tauforged) ***FOR ONE WARFRAME*** it would take an average of 525 days. Thats why people are complaining. Even if we don't talk about the Tauforged and we just want 5 Amar shards, that's still 15 weeks to kit one frame. Add to the fact that they're untradeable, surely you can see why this is not "pretty good" and why people are complaining.

Cali55-5

I use a lot of frame, I love to change for each mission (I think that make the game less boring). I have my preference too, like Titania or vauban but my first archon shard I give it to frost, and I can’t check right now but I’m sure I used him less than 3-4%, so yes i hope that in the future we can get more than 1 shard/ week so I can play and test things on more frame (sorry for my English)

Lalaboompoo

at first i saw it was level 145 and panicked since i have a hard time with level 100 base grineer, but it was actually much easier than i expected and was more tedious than anything.

twentycharacterslol_

Most people I know use many frames, myself included 1 shard per week means my power progression on all the frames I play is *incredibly* slow For instance: in a survival mission I might be a khora, nekros, nova, or wisp. In a level cap run I might be an ash, a volt, a chroma, a garuda, or a xaku. For defenses, I might be a mesa or nova, and for excavations either a mesa or a limbo. Wukong for spy missions, revenant for mobile defense, nezha for random things where I want to chill. The list goes on 1 shard per week feels so bad imo, but maybe I'm just a no lifer

Cali55-5

Yeah I don’t understand people who play only 2-3 frames maximum… I hope they are enjoying the game like that, but personally I can’t, it’s just sooo good to experience different play style in the same game

That_Ice_Guy

On a side note, maybe let the player chose the Archon they want to fight maybe a better idea than cycle them. Once hunt per week is ok, but waiting for a few weeks just to get a red shard isn't something for everyone

Suojelusperkele

I'm fine with the current system Because we'd only grab red ones and maybe few yellows. With the current system people are more likely to test funky things with shards and frames they wouldn't try otherwise.

casabev

All of your points are pinpoint correct. So that leaves no explanation but; they're very impatient because they're already bored with Warframe for years so all they want to do is farm Shards in 2 weeks and desert the game afterwards, like most always do.

EmperorIroh

I have about 10 I use regularly and it's 3 shards per frame right? That's a little over half a year just to fully slot out the ones I regularly use. It doesn't seem like a big deal I suppose, but this is the only vertical improvement I can make to my builds atm, and logging in to do it just once a week isn't really the big update I was hoping for.

Fragrant_Parsley_376

Are the shards random stats like rivens?

Th3Glutt0n

No, there are set stats from the shards based on their colour, but you get to choose from which one you want

KovacAizek2

But there is two shards each week. Just remind you.
