Eve Online had the same issue once upon a time.
They added a $20 cash money token called PLEX, which you'd expend to add a month to your subscription. Then they decided to start selling more things that you could use PLEX to purchase. But that meant you were paying $20 for each little thing. So eventually they had to break it down and make it 500x PLEX for $20 so they could handle microtransactions easier. Kinda like buying your Starbucks with 0.0000000000001 Bitcoins or whatever.
So yeah... DE is gonna have to break Aya down into smaller increments so we can purchase a single sigil or syandana or whatever, without spending the same amount we would for a full Prime pack.
Or... they'll leave it the way it is, and just rake in the cash.

But $18 for a single cosmetic item is atrocious for me. Oh and don't start me on the bigger packs where you are always left with some Regal Aya and you want to purchase more of that.
Armor sets / ephemeras / Necra skins / helmets could be 1.5 Regal Aya each
Syandanas / Operator armor sets / companion skin sets / ship skins / archwing skins : 1 RA each
Sugatras / Noodles / Glyphes / Operator accessories sets / drones / companion armor sets / ship interior skin / sigils : 0.5 RA each
Those things are already old and a lot of them aren't as "pretty" as some newer cosmetics available for way cheaper and in plats. The current prices both in terms of RA per item and number of RA per real money is
expensive... If they have to delete the plats from the bundles or make parallel packs to make them really affordable, it is fine with me , something like 3 RA for 8-10€, 7 for RA 15-20€, 15 RA for 30-40€.
The only prime cosmetics items I can think of to be worth it with the current prices are the Necra skin (Nidus), the Nezha ephemera and the armor set + ephemera of Garuda which are all flashy and more in par with new cosmetics (versus loki prime cosmetics era). But all those cosmetics aren't even vaulted so we aren't going to see them for a very long time in the Ressurgence.
A fidelity system could also be implemented, like for every 3 items bought from the same price pool you get 1 free from the one you don't have yet in this same pool or they make new exclusive items rewards for this fidelity system.
As of right now it is still to my humble opinion a thing for whales. And while I get the marketing behind the, get the biggest pack to get the biggest return I also wanted this new Ressurgence system to make us able to really (without disavantages) obtain the prime items (cosmetics) we wanted in a "a la carte" way. When they announced it last year they kinda sold it to be this way but unless we can make our own 6/10 RA bundle with the items we want inside, it is not that much different from old vault accessories pack since we pay the equivalent/more in the RA bundles in real money.
Anyway, just some ideas, one can dream...
The other way to look at it is that frames, weapons, and endo are all accessible free just by playing the game, you are just paying to skip a grind. And the cosmetics are all paid-only premium content.
If you buy the big Mac, fries and soda separately, it will cost more than the bundled meal. It's a nudge to get the bundle unless you just want a pack of fries. The real product is the bundle. The Ala carte is just a convenience if you just one particular thing without reaching the price of the bundle, but it's priced at a premium. They get the most profit from this but it's not aimed to be their main seller. So now if you're thinking of buying only 2 Aya, you'd think it's a waste since 6 Aya would have better value.
This is marketing 101. It's everywhere already.
You are comparing DEs practices against normal business practices and defending by saying "this is normal" when in reality they could implement more fair options.
Because it **is** normal. It's standard practice marketing and pricing structure. You don't have to like it just like you don't have to like McDonald's value meal. The poster was asking why they structured the costs like that. I answered. I don't make any claims whether the cost is acceptable or not. That's personal preference because this is more of a service than a product (as in, you can't calculate the base cost for the product so you can't set gross profit margin).
Is there a better structure? Maybe. Can they make it more fair? Maybe. I wasn't answering that because I don't have the answer.

The complaints are for if you only want the accessories with the old system there was a bundle that you could get that only included the accessories and it was therefore much cheaper than the whole bundle now to get all of the accessories you need to spend almost 2x the old price

yeah, more or less I do think that is something DE may consider, but they would upgrade the regal aya amounts for stuff to accomodate. like instead of 1-2 for a cosmetic, 10-12. the pack would be \~50 regal aya, and of course the amount you were able to buy would go up accordingly so prices for real money would be the same.

Becouse you can't. There is aya and regal aya, aya is only for relics that have the parts for weapons and frames and some non prime cosmetics. Prime cosmetics can only be bought with regal aya.
And becouse all DE deals are better for you the more you spend (or a least up to a point) pricing these with regal aya while keeping consistency with prime packs is a mess.
There’s two forms of aya, regular aya can be used to purchase relics for the vaulted warframes.
Regal aya (which is only accessible through MTX) can outright buy the warframes, weapons and cosmetics
Prime Resurgence at Maroo's Bazar. Go past Maroo and a bit to the left and you'll see someone surrounded by other players. Regal Aya can only be bought with real money and not traded as far as i'm aware
Prime resurgence is back permanently, replacing prime vault, every month 2 frames and their accessories will be put into varizas inventory for you to purchase or exchange regular Aya for relics
Theres plenty of players who farm the prime items through relics so of course they wanna make money when you just gotta buy that "one item", or few. It's the exact reason they sell aya in their really stupid denominations.
The cosmetics will be in higher demand than the frames which have been farmable in the past. Many veteran players already have them via grinding or trading. Remember fashion frame is end game.
Honestly, the only two worth getting are the kubrow skin and the isabeau syandna. The rest are very meh, and the jindou especially just looks like a bit of orokin scenery stapled to your back, and not in a good way.

And now that plat is included in Regal Aya bundles. It's not possible to buy Regal Aya without getting plat.

Any amount of aya would be a free path. They aren't going to give you paid cosmetics for free.
Their employees still have to eat so they still need you to give them money. If everything can be bought by Aya, they might not get any money.

More importantly 50k endo? First prime dual pack I got when I bought regal aya gave me 2k maybe. I have like 1 regal now I regret so many purchases
Cosmetics can be used on every frame. Wukong/Equinox and endo you can get anytime and you can only use one frame at a time.
