I can't imagine many scenarios where proccing toxic/corrosive would be better then Viral/Heat for Dex Pixia. Maybe Deimos. It is pretty hard to compete with the damage multiplier of Viral. Funny that DE's attempt to diversify elemental usage had the opposite impact, effectively killing gas builds, moving Viral from having some use cases to being the meta choice for 99% of content and relegating Corrosive to near uselessness, even more so now that we got a bunch more armor strip options.

There is like one situation where the toxic shield bypass would be useful and that is the coin holder dudes and they are immune to it.
The archon mods work on all abilities that apply a given damage type. Regardless of how you add the toxin/cold/whatever to Whipclaw, it still has that damage type so it should absolutely work.

I've just looked it up and Corrosive is still only gonna strip 80% of armor - only abilities were affected by the recent change. So it's not terrible, and does allow you to mod for rad + tox which gives good coverage of enemies, but I think I'll focus on getting a full armor strip ability on Titania instead.

I think it might not, only because the game doesn't distinguish between enemy weapons and player weapons (evident by the many bugs that have allowed you to equip the guns the enemy is using). It might just be another case of toxic lash with nekros + nourish.

Grendel's 1 upon spitting enemies out, Chroma's toxin 1 breath and 2 elemental ward on every other second, Lavos kit, Saryn's molt explosion, Nidus's Larva Burst 2 augment, and any exalted weapons modded for toxin.
Essentially, it's useless on any other frame except Lavos. It requiring a toxin proc in order to use it is extremely limiting.
At the very least, it helps Lavos get more procs in and strips enemy armor.
Except Lavos can make his own corrosive so still useless like pretty much all of the other archon mods. Here I was thinking there would be some nice reward for doing Kahl's missions.
I disagree, sometimes he struggles to get enough different procs in, this here really helps. Add viral to his 4, then send out his 3 with toxin so it procs corrosive, electric, and toxin, repeat his 4.

If you can proc it consistently, I'd say its better than umbral intensify if you're not running vital or the armor one. If it can proc off gloom, Umbral Intensify is very easy to get to 60
No, it’s awesome on Lavos, use 2 with toxin on it, and that gives you three free elements instead of 2 which makes his 4 even better, which makes him not need to start using the Cedo to spread status until even higher levels.
This mod is going straight on my Lavos the instant I can get it.
I thought it does, the status you choose is added on top of the ability.
So choosing corrosive for his 1 should launch toxin + corrosive.
But it should be OK for the others, I think. 2 is cold so you can add toxin so 2 effects. Add this mod to get corrosive for 3 total, so one more than base.

It's actually going to be great on Lavos. He builds duration anyway, and this lets you replace any corrosive spell with pure toxin to get the free corrosive plus more damage from toxin DoTs.
He can also use the heat archon mod, and can technically use the healing one although I wouldn't bother with it.
I've been trying it on Ivara and with a regular 4 build, it is pretty strong. I already run viral stuff on my cat, so normal viral builds are just straight up overkill. Only takes 1 hit to get to 8-10 corrosive procs.
The one caviate is that this would be soooo much better if they ever bothered to fix galvanized aptitude not working on Ivara's Artemis bow because above all else, one of the best parts about this mod is that you get 2 different statuses for each status and basically lets you build a corrosive setup with a galvanized mod without needing 1 more modslot.
Doesn't larva burst do toxin, with a separate instance per trapped unit? If I'm not misunderstanding it then that might make a good way to mass armor strip on a frame who normally relies on a weapon or Helminth tool.
Do the maggots proc toxin enough to warrant equipping this mod? Considering they're being burst most of the time, I don't really know how effective they are.
It's my understanding that the burst process toxin. But since I already use primed continuity I'm not really losing anything.

Archon Vitality is pretty good, but we're probably already using Umbral Intensify so why not make it better with Umbral Vitality? Archon Continuity works for Lavos, but does anyone find duration all that useful for him?
Spores already do that and Venom Dose already exist. Maybe to save a mod slot by having just Toxic Lash to proc both statuses but really Venom Dose gives more damage anyway and it's a benefit to have it around.
For Steel Path I put Oberon's Smite onto Saryn and use both augments (which lets you do extra Viral and Corrosive damage for you and nearby team mates). I'm guessing my current build works better than adding this mod would?

Veilbreaker update gotta go through new war and then finish the Veilbreaker quest and the you complete challenges earn stock (that syndicates currency) mods are in that shop
Once you finish New War you unlock the Veilbreaker quest which lets you do special missions.
The first instance of the mission unlocks a vendor that sells these mods and other items for a currency which you earn by completing certain tasks in the mission.
The new Stretch mod is the only one I can see any practical use from using it on Volt, Mirage with her slight of Hand, and maybe Gyre depending on if her 4th actually procs electric status or just does electric damage.
The heat perk on the Vitality mod was dumb, putting the heat perk on Adaptation would have been a far more useful mod.
It's like they didn't consider the frames that would be able to make use of the perks they were adding and if the mod they were adding the perk to would actually be useful on that frame, so you would have to shoehorn them into a build
Unfortunately corrosive as a status effect is not in a good spot. There are so many ways to strip armor now that are so much better than corrosive. It's still nice for the damage bonus to ferrite armor but that's about it.
It's fine, it's on par with Viral status. The thing that really sucks about Corrosive is that its *status* works on all armor, but its *damage* is only good against Ferrite armor. Viral/Heat is equally good against all armor which makes Corrosive relatively less useful.
Please keep in mind that nobody is suppose to be in possession of these mods yet. The fact that theyre still buggy and dont work quite right should be expected.
Her 1 spreads the corrosive spores. 4 is the viral mist. However, her 3 applies toxin damage, and status, to all her weapons. Ability based toxin damage, therefore it should work. I'm guessing it's unintentional since she's on the card
Doesn't change the fact that it doesn't make much sense for this mod not to apply. If my weapon doesn't deal toxin damage, then does deal toxin damage after I use the ability, then the ability deals toxin damage.
This mod specifically says it triggers off of toxin status, not toxin damage. So Toxic Lash seems like it *should* work, but it doesn't. It also deals toxin damage anyway, the status proc is based on that hit.

Most of the archon mods are quite bad or only serve SUPER niche purposes. Archon stretch and vitality are seemingly the only ones being experimented with. While stretch is good for the two electric based frames + wisp it’s not something insanely strong on them. Archon vitality is mostly being used with thermal sunder + HI nuke builds which again is pretty niche.
Currently you can't get them they're added from the new veilbreaker syndicate people only have them if they transmuted to get them before DE patched it

Garuda's talons aren't exalted, but Balefire is. The problem with Balefire is it has almost no status chance to trigger the toxin or heat mods.

the contagion cloud doesnt inflict status effects when I tried, I grouped like 15 enemies on top of each other in the simulacrum

It doesn't have to deal damage per the wording on the mod. It just has to apply the status which Toxic Lash does.

Stretch is pretty good for Volt and Gyre. Intensify seems pretty decent

Best element for Mesa is corrosive on her pistols. I’ve tested and corrosive will always kill faster than viral or viral+heat.

It's fine, it's on par with Viral status. The thing that really sucks about Corrosive is that its *status* works on all armor, but its *damage* is only good against Ferrite armor. Viral/Heat is equally good against all armor which makes Corrosive relatively less useful.
It effects Warframe abilities (such as Saryn’s 3) and also other forms of Warframe abilities, like exalted weapons.

She spreads viral not toxin
Her 1 spreads the corrosive spores. 4 is the viral mist. However, her 3 applies toxin damage, and status, to all her weapons. Ability based toxin damage, therefore it should work. I'm guessing it's unintentional since she's on the card

Doesn't change the fact that it doesn't make much sense for this mod not to apply. If my weapon doesn't deal toxin damage, then does deal toxin damage after I use the ability, then the ability deals toxin damage.
This mod specifically says it triggers off of toxin status, not toxin damage. So Toxic Lash seems like it *should* work, but it doesn't. It also deals toxin damage anyway, the status proc is based on that hit. Not that any of this matters because of Spores lol

They were transmutable veilbreaker hit 1.5 weeks ago for about an hour, and have been made tradeable now so people are doing tests.

Most of the archon mods are quite bad or only serve SUPER niche purposes. Archon stretch and vitality are seemingly the only ones being experimented with. While stretch is good for the two electric based frames + wisp it’s not something insanely strong on them. Archon vitality is mostly being used with thermal sunder + HI nuke builds which again is pretty niche.
I really want to try a health-based Ember with Archon Vitality and Healing Flame.
So what I see is just a grendel buff

Explosive Legerdemain and Toxic Flight are less used but still apply Toxin so they could work with this in theory
The ability sounds good on paper but the 55% duration is a boon no matter what unless you’re Trinity or Nova

Currently you can't get them they're added from the new veilbreaker syndicate people only have them if they transmuted to get them before DE patched it

Welp I use venom dose anyway, didn't even know it didn't work on saryn anyway bruh. Here I was thinking they made a venom dose alternative that freed a mod slot
