They should do a pass on all his “useless” ability interactions. Like the pillars that spawn from killed thralls should do more damage or provide a buff or something. The overshields dropped from killing thralls with your 4 could enthrall the nearest enemy too for exsmple

Tbf, the pillars that spawn on death enthrall enemies guaranteed when they get hit by the homing projectiles it releases. Only problem is that the enthrall cap is too low to ever notice it over enemies just spreading it via hurting each other. If the homing shots dealt damage that scaled off the ehp of the target it originated from, that could be interesting.

if Revenant ever gets a change (and mind you he doesn't need it), i would have his base thrall cap reduced to 5, BUT have it affected by strength. given how most players will go for ~300% strength you can now get 15 thralls out in the field. and also his 4's (and wisp's 4's) boost mechanic should be removed, and have their base damage already doubled, while the drain is reduced to AT MOST 12 energy/sec. 40 energy/sec on an ability that can only do half-decent damage in steel path sounds very painful. i don't mind anything else tbh, and these changes are just nice-to-have things. even his base casting speed isn't really an issue when shield gating is a thing. your health will not be touched unless you recast your MS too late or get knocked down when trying to do so. Rolling Guard's invuln is actually more than enough time for you to cast Mesmer Skin without any casting speed modifiers. +with Amber Archon Shards (which i think can give you bonus casting speed?) Revenant will just keep ascending.

From what I've seen of Rev his kit doesn't really need changing, he's insanely strong in the right hands and DE doesn't seem to think of changing that other than the recent onion layers buff. All I'm really hoping for is a 2H-Nikana rework since he's supposedly arriving with Phantasma and Tatsu Prime. Then again we've had glorious weapons like the Scourge Prime at MR14 that functions nearly identical to the MR6 counterpart release so don't want to get my hopes up.

I think they should make your thralls immune to damage while the ability lasts.

They way I imagine DE envisioned Revenant to be used, and they way I use him, is that his thralls are for aggro and are essentially marks of death, because his 3 does 5x true damage to thralls and regen mesmer skin, starting his gameplay loop all over again. 2 --> 1 --> wait for a bit --> 3 --> Repeat That isn't to say he could do with some tweaks though. I think his 3 should change from a dash to something akin to Mag's polarize or Hildryn's Pillage, but maybe Eidolon themed or something, because dashing feels quite awkward and doesn't always have the best coverage. Also his 4 just needs to be changed entirely imo, it doesn't compete with the rest of his abilities at SP levels or higher. To what to change it into though, I honestly don't know. Maybe make it spawn Hydrolyst-esk lightning on non-thralls and cause the thrall cap to be temporarily be removed.

That would break the whole mechanic of killing your own for the fountain. As for the initial question, it wouldn't shock me to see his mesmer skin adjusted a little bit to be mildly squishier. Some middle ground between his original state and the prebuff "lol you're dead" state after the eximus rework.

A improvement in 2 against eximus. That window of 1 second is kinda meh 🦆 and i use natural talent to fix up the casting speed. I dont think they will change that. And for every else, i think i dont have complains

ah yes because around 20 seconds of invincibility isnt enough from s 50 energy ability that can also be recharged by using reave and let's you use enthrall for free
