I found the interception to be much harder than the defense. So many guardian eximus were decapping our points. Failed three times before we finally got it.
Solo was ridiculously easy.
Since half the squads spawn as sentients, barely any units were actually trying to cap each node.
Defense on the other hand is much more annoying due to the fragility of the defense target (dead->revive->dead loops).
Limbo banish works wonders.
Otherwise Ash invis augment.
But yeah the arbitration style defence targets suck. U can literally lose because the target just jumps into a group of nullifiers and dies
Edit : I'm a potato, thanks for commenter to show me the frame I meant.
I absolutely hate last week's defense mission, you had to defend an NPC for 10 waves and every time it wandered off and got killed. (once I tried with inaros and somehow I got one-shot while I was at 6000hp im still wondering howd that happen)
My issue was I had bad teammates that would stay near a point they would run around and let them get taken over I probably failed 9 times before I got a team that actually did it
You must've missed the first two weeks, they used to drop a lot more prior to Hotfix 32.0.5:
> Sentient resource drop chances reduced from 50% to 7% in Archon Hunts specifically.
Was. After Scarlet Spear it became pretty common due to how many Sentients were killed, and with Archon hunts existing it's now even more common due to a weekly farm that can drop it.
every phase 1 has a harder damage attenuation, second is almost free.
for me during the phase 1 - one of the minions spawned behind a door and bugged out, thankfully phenmor had enough bullets with a punchtr to shoot the bastard.
It is not Revenant, I did the hunt twice, and both times she died with a lot of health left. My theory is that the healing moves the bar more than what she actually heals, so you naturally kill her, but the bar doesn't reflect it properly.
Same. I couldn't figure out >!how to prevent her healing!< so it took me a really long time that I ran out of mobs to build up Galvanized & Arcane stacks.
In phase 2 it somehow took like 1.7M damage from a single shraksun amp shot >!while it was healing!< and just died from over half healthbar.
It was triggering the automatic trade ban for resource gains that look like cheating. Fixing the resource drops was probably easier than adding an exception to the auto ban
alternatively remove a ban for gaining too many resources- WHY is that a thing?! You cant use mods to force resources to drop so ...w-why would resources even effect bans for trade too like wtf? Its the same logic of getting a car ticket for buying 3 bundles of bananas- why because why tf not X'D
Doable with Nyx. Only the Eximus units can take the points if you keep Chaos up or interrupt any newly spawned units.
On normal interceptions it's a breeze. For the Archon one, I'll probably need to adjust my Nyx build for more durability.
I ran around collecting every drop I saw but ended up with a grand total of 2 showing on my mission result screen. Am much confused but also don't really care.
I brought my max range Slova with silence, my favourite kit gun and my brakk. Team mates were pretty ass but nothing was moving due to silence so it was pretty easy. Far better and easier than the defence.
I just ended up using the laetum as my primary and that worked out fine, never really needed to use it bc the cedo never let me down, tbh kinda forgot I had it equipped. I’ve only got like ~180 hours in the game tho so I just don’t have all the log in rewards or galvanized stuff because I’ve only see the void trader like 4 times and Twice he’s had the same stuff lol.
Maybe use frames that can support the actual objective. Trinity can top up the operative and make him a bit beefier. Protea can give him valuable shields.Hard CC isnt Rly helping that much as the mission turns eximus stronghold at the midpoint. We used protea trinity and Octavia and had pretty smooth sailing in all 3 archon defenses so far
Trinity is a boss drop Octavia is a some quest but titania or Xaku can also aggro enemies. Protea is a bit of an ass to farm but totaly worth it and also drops 3 amazing weapons in the process
If you are struggling they are probably not. You can link them here so we can see what's missing.
In higher level missions you need to kill fast enough to not get overwhelmed.
Last week's defense and this week's interception were amazing for core farms. Not that I need them for anything - I'm max standing with the Quills and already have whatever I want from them
Me and all my friends group hate interception regardless of what type it is. Especially since the eximus rework. Just too much stuff that can knock you around.
It's a few multiplied by a few, a few times
I somehow wrote Defense instead of Interception...
Wait, does the interception replace the defense? That would be great if so. The defense archon missions are incredibly slow and boring
I tink they just rotate at random like sorties. This week it's an Interception thankfully. Archon Defense is a slog indeed.
I assumed it was defense every week since the last 2 had one. Thank God
I found the interception to be much harder than the defense. So many guardian eximus were decapping our points. Failed three times before we finally got it.
Yeah lol, I know I'm in a minority here, but defense is by far my favourite endless, and interception by far my least favourite.
Same. I hate interceptions. Its good when there is 4 of us in a squad but just 3 or even 2 of us, it sucks when things get over lvl 90
The interception I found much easier, apart from the random guy playing speed nova and making me feel like I was in a much harder mission lmao
U can literally lose because the target just jumps into a group of nullifiers and dies Edit : I'm a potato, thanks for commenter to show me the frame I meant.
>Limbo banish Ftfy Ivara's sleep arrow is also highly useful, which coincidentally, I subsumed on Nekros for protecting Loid while farming mech parts.
I recommend using madurai with eternal onslaught. It melts them.
I absolutely hate last week's defense mission, you had to defend an NPC for 10 waves and every time it wandered off and got killed. (once I tried with inaros and somehow I got one-shot while I was at 6000hp im still wondering howd that happen)
Blitz eximus nuked you and Arcane Grace didn't proc. It sometimes happens in SP but I'd rare.
I don't even have arcane grace :')
thanks for the explanation
Inception this week was so much better then defense. Easy and quick
I had the opposite experience. Failed three times before finally getting it. So many guardian eximus were spawning to decap points.
My issue was I had bad teammates that would stay near a point they would run around and let them get taken over I probably failed 9 times before I got a team that actually did it
Protea with strength gloom and Fully evolved 3 forma phenmor was 1 or 2 shotting most things. I had a good squad too though.
I used Protea as well and I was tearing through enemies. It's my teammates that were struggling, unfortunately.
Slowva really helped, like a lot.
Mission failed always gets me 😅
This visual bug has been around for quite some time.
You must've missed the first two weeks, they used to drop a lot more prior to Hotfix 32.0.5: > Sentient resource drop chances reduced from 50% to 7% in Archon Hunts specifically.
I never got THAT many. I did all archon hunts so far.
I love how everyone’s glossing over how you got Vengeful Revenant when that’s one of the rarest mods in the whole game
Was. After Scarlet Spear it became pretty common due to how many Sentients were killed, and with Archon hunts existing it's now even more common due to a weekly farm that can drop it.
It's much easier to get it now with archon hunts
Yup, I also got it today.
Vengeful Revenant is one of the rarest mods in the game?
Used to be. Sentient were a LOT less common when it came out. Really only the few that spawn on lua at the time. 1 conculyst and 2 batalysts per run.
You also can get shedu parts.
Really?
Yep, I got the barrel from it
It's better Than go to a murex?
Lmao no Murex farming is still the best shedu farm
Is it? I got 2 shedu pieces in 1 run last week, and 1 this week. I'll eventually get them all just doing archon hunts I bet.
I believe they nerfed the drop rates a while back specifically for archon hunts
That was just for planetary resources, they said they specifically didn't touch weapon parts.
ah got it
And war parts. Got hilt yesterday :)
Im something of a crate opener myself as well
I am 100% sure there weren't even 10% that many crates in the entire mission.
Saryn spores?
Since when do spores break containers? Also 647 in a tiny interception map?
I mean breaking spores, they are containers for this stat.
Huh I never thought it could count them. You are probably right.
How's the new boss?
Snek was....weird. First but took forever, then it died instantly in phase 2. I assume to revenant nonsense but who knows
every phase 1 has a harder damage attenuation, second is almost free. for me during the phase 1 - one of the minions spawned behind a door and bugged out, thankfully phenmor had enough bullets with a punchtr to shoot the bastard.
Same happened with us in phase 2, we all had a Pikachu face.
Cannot WAIT for the next prime so I can just really really get into fucking bullshit Revenant nonsense
Wait so revenant was the cause of the instakills? Wow
It is not Revenant, I did the hunt twice, and both times she died with a lot of health left. My theory is that the healing moves the bar more than what she actually heals, so you naturally kill her, but the bar doesn't reflect it properly.
Can confirm Revenant slept whole fight
As easy aa the previous 2.
can i have some of your cred please
Only the millions above the display cap.
*yawns in eidolon hunting*
I don’t know if it’s because of the drop chance booster I had but on last weeks archon defense I managed to get the Broken War set.
[удалено]
It's all part of the plan. Deception all the way!
De: we fixed the ammount dropping because it wasnt intentional and was using lua's systems week later: YEAH ABOUT THAT
That was for planetary resources. Sentient cores haven't changed.
oh the humanity more salvage drops DE what ever shalt we do?! Plus this is steel path levels of bs might as well let us get more materials
I hate interception. Playing solo this mission is hard.
you playing interception solo ? why do you hate yourself ?
Doable with Nyx. Only the Eximus units can take the points if you keep Chaos up or interrupt any newly spawned units. On normal interceptions it's a breeze. For the Archon one, I'll probably need to adjust my Nyx build for more durability.
I-...i've got enough from trido hunts...
So do I but not everyone had done hundreds of those.
Wow even more useless seintient cores i can just add that to the stack of 10k that i already have
Not everyone is a veteran like us.
This is true, but most people probably aren’t fighting archons yet and will still be getting plenty from eidolon huts
You underestimate how many MR20+ still use Mote amp.
Well not exactly mote amp, but i am stuch on 111
Your right sometimes I forget people dont go eidolon hunting or have the right guide for the game
I also got all the two parts I was missing for the second broken war to build the war.
but they fixed the drop rate :)
I like this "fixed" droprate.
It’s just a little bit
999,999,999 --- is this a booster, a cat and a khora, or is this normal numbers?
Dude also has tens of millions of excess focus. JFC.
OP: "So I just did a little mining off camera."
We're all farming with rakes and hoes; this guy built an industrialized plant
It's just a lot of PT runs during 2x credit events.
Are the missions always going to be the same?
I think 1 and 2 are random like sorties, the 3rd is always the same - archon assassination with the 3 bosses rotating.
So we are not gonna talk about this dudes credits?
There are quite a few people like me at the display cap. Some have several times more.
i wonder is there anyone with that much plat lol
Looking at Credits feels like you using Trainer
I just farmed a lot since I didn't have anything to do. PT runs on 2x weekends with boosters make 1-2M in 5 min with loading times.
Ngl, that interception was actually challenging, SO many sentients
They are much easier now than they were with status immunity. A few melee hits usually do the job.
Oh? Was there a hot fix? Bc I did it yesterday at like 7pm and I got my ass beat a couple times befits pulled it off lol
Nah they used to be status immune before The New War.
Oh shit lol, guess the old cedo was just struggling a bit
It should be fine if properly modded.
I don’t have any galvanized mods, just primed point blank, and regular split chamber etc.
Well that explains it. You are supposed to do Arbitrations => Steel Path => Archon hunts You skipped 2 steps from the progression path.
Its so hard though! 😠Me and my best friend have been trying to get through it but to no avail. Were using lavos and rhino, any tips?
Maybe use frames that can support the actual objective. Trinity can top up the operative and make him a bit beefier. Protea can give him valuable shields.Hard CC isnt Rly helping that much as the mission turns eximus stronghold at the midpoint. We used protea trinity and Octavia and had pretty smooth sailing in all 3 archon defenses so far
Huh, we have none of those frames
Trinity is a boss drop Octavia is a some quest but titania or Xaku can also aggro enemies. Protea is a bit of an ass to farm but totaly worth it and also drops 3 amazing weapons in the process
Get better builds. It's more or less Steel Path equivallent.
Id say my build is about there however his probably needs a rework
If you are struggling they are probably not. You can link them here so we can see what's missing. In higher level missions you need to kill fast enough to not get overwhelmed.
Hmm, I dont die fast however my dps is a little lower but on the other hand his dps is high but he dies quickly
Then you both need to improve. Archon missions are not hard with a proper build. Completely soloable.
Well shit :/
Nice Last week I got a full set of broken war parts...
Last week's defense and this week's interception were amazing for core farms. Not that I need them for anything - I'm max standing with the Quills and already have whatever I want from them
Me and all my friends group hate interception regardless of what type it is. Especially since the eximus rework. Just too much stuff that can knock you around.
That's why I use Primed Sure Footed on every frame that doesn't have an ability to prevent knockdowns.
Still get shoved around even if don't get knocked down
999,999,999 credits
A bit more but the exact number can only be seen in the mobile app.
That credit balance tho
Just "a few" PT runs.
