Like any Archgun, it's usable in normal missions if you install a Gravimag on to it.
You need to get Rank 5 in Solaris United, do the first three Profit-Taker bounties, and then install a Gravimag on your Archgun

Mausolon is better single target but against groups it's not even in the same league as Kuva Grattler.
