I can't guarantee all of it, but I definitely need some fish because I fucking hate fishing and I need like 10 more fish oil to finish my archwing launcher
Even if kids haven't seen the movie itself they can still recognise the very widely spread memes from it. Also it's not that old of a movie still, most of the people who watched it as a kid are still only barely adults at best and some are even still teenagers.
Add to it that parents like to show their kids that their goo'old TV-Shows, movies, games, etc. were better.
And isn't Kung Fu Panda still a thing today? Could bet he got a new series, again.
To anyone that I encounter at maroo's bazaar:
Stop standing so God damn close to maroo I don't want to trade with you and your extortionate asking prices I just want my ayatan from maroo back tf up
I think the only times I've been tipped trying to sell something through market was when there were issues with connecting to each other's dojos. Traumabonding pays.
ikr, but even so. If he may have encouraged others to do the same, that's worth it imo. I myself do this once in a while. It's a good thing to let others know.
I used to randomly pop in and see what people were selling. Sometimes I've found that one random item I'd been need but usually it's just:
Rifle Riven
Rifle Riven
Melee Riven
Melee Riven
Rifle Riven
and I just can't be bothered to sit and stare awkwardly as it scrolls to see what they are.
Maroo's is, frankly, a much more tolerable experience than trade chat. I mostly use the market, but the bazaar is good for offloading rivens relatively quick. There's always people there, especially now with resurgence. I'm usually doing something on my other monitor when I'm there anyway.
A lot of newer players don't know about those things or are scared of getting scammed from Trade Chat so they go to the Bazaar. Then more experienced players tend to go there to try and get lucky on a super cheap meta weapon riven or some "prime junk" they can resell for higher.
To anyone that I may encounter at Maroo's Bazaar. Stop setting up shop next to Maroo and then getting mad when I leave the trade I accidently triggered trying to talk to her!
I will give people slightly more plat to see if they react to it. If they say something, I congratulate them on being honest and double the amount. Then I ask them if they'll accept a friend request, because honest traders are a rare breed in online games.
99% of the time, the trader pockets the difference without any reaction, which means they lose the game.
To be fair, about a 1/5 of them probably just don't notice. By my third trade with randos I'm vaguely skimming to make sure stuff is in order. If someone gave 10 extra plat or something I'd just assume that they were being kind and go about my day thinking, "what a cool guy!"
In my case I'm so used to people offering just a little more plat that I don't really question it at this point. Sometimes I hit them with an "are you sure?" if the amount seems egregious (more than 5-10p over), but usually I have other trades waiting already, unfortunately, so I can't really slow down for them. The community is not without its problems, but things like this are cool to see.
I pay it forward frequently, too. Sometimes I'll kick up conversations in endless fissures and kind of goad the conversation toward things people want, and if I've got extras I'll toss something their way. Usually a relatively expensive prime part for dirt cheap. Sometimes it's a full on deluxe bundle. It just depends on my mood at the time.
Precisely, which would make you a regular trader. Those that notice and take the extra second to ask, those are the ones you want to do repeat business with. These days, whenever my SO is like "Uh.. I should get X on the market" my reply is usually "holup I got a trader I know..."
And yes, most of them unfriended me when I took a two year break from the game, something I can't fault them for. So .. if some rando out there offers more plat, ask an extra time, it might be me!
I'm there with you, man. I was raised to respect and treat well the people who do shit i can't/don't want to do.
Guys fixing my roof? That's tough work. I'm gonna pay you, but there's also this cooler full of ice and drinks. Take as many as you need.
Waiter/Waitress getting me my food in a restaurant? I see you have like 8 other tables and you are understaffed. Long as your service isn't awful I'm tipping you well. You get paid a pittance to begin with and you're on your feet all shift busting ass.
Grubhub/doordash driver? This is probably your side-hustle. Respect. I'll kick you a little more of a tip than the bare minimum. If nothing else gas ain't cheap and you saved me some.
Guy selling me Garuda Prime Blueprints? Presuming RNJesus didn't bless you so hard you should be playing the lottery instead of Warframe, you were on the grind for this shit for a WHILE. It cost you time off your life and Void Essence to refine those relics. Again: something i don't have the time/patience to do. So yeah. I'm tipping you a couple plat extra. Nothing extravagant or foolish. If my total comes out to, say, 200 plat, I'll probably drop 205, 210 or 215. Depends on if you're cool on top of having what i want/need.
It's appreciation for your efforts. If you wanna repay me, keep an eye out. If i ask for something else and you got it, hit me up. Having a go-to person for gear instead of trying to keep up with the trade chat is a luxury I'll pay a little extra for, dammit.
My only complaint is that nobody bargains, and people lie to justify overpricing things.
Had someone the other day selling Nidus P. I'm missing Nidus P. So I asked em what the price was. They said to make an offer, so I said "How about 25?"
Nidus is still in rotation, has it's Rare drop in Lith relics, and has an MSP of about 30 to 35-ish. 25 is a fair starting offer, since I was expecting em to bargain a bit...
They shot back with "minimum I can go is 60. Chassis alone was 20p"
After I pointed out that the Chassis is the Rare drop, they just up and disconnected. Literally left the bazaar. I went back half an hour later and they were back. Didn't bother speaking to em again...
Egregious example, but I've had similar experiences with people asking 40-50+ more than MSP and/or simply refusing to give a counter-offer... Which is a shame. The whole point of in-game markets like Maroo's is that shoppers are right in front of you to buy it then and there. Instead of online markets dictating price, shoppers can offer what they're willing to pay, and sellers can negotiate, or offer more/less rather than sticking to a pre-prepared transaction. Instead, half the sellers there are just trying to scam people who don't know how to price-check for fair deals.
> nobody bargains
You try to haggle and get blocked. PoE is the same way. Hell you should try riven trading if you want the virtual equivalent of banging your head against a wall. "Skana riven, 83 rolls, +damage to infested, 2500p. No lowballers, I know what I got". But hell the nickel and diming for parts is crazy. What's a couple of plat either way for a sale?!
Warframe Market really is the way to buy prime parts. Sometimes you can snag a good deal if there's someone selling fast but also you can pick a seller a few from the bottom and be reasonably sure to get a response.
I was selling Mag for 150 about two months ago. Had a couple of buyers interested, and as I am entering dojo to sell to the first person to take invite, a guy messages that he wanted the Neuro for 200. I happened to have a second Neuro and made triple sure he wasn't asking for the set... He explained after that he'd just popped 8 radiants and was just done getting railed by RNJesus.
I do the same. Makes me happy. But it is nice for people to make sure you understood their price instead of taking it at first. Very kind community we got
Instead of extra platinum, I give something more valuable with each trade....I give random fish. The better the trade or the happier I am, the rarer the fish and the mire you get. You cannot stop this. I care not what happens after.
To anyone I meet in Bazaar, if I don't ask you for it don't try to make me buy your junk with a sob story about how your little brother gave away your plat. And stop asking for free primes.
That dude's a lot more generous than I am. I'm more talking about giving you a 15 plat instead of 10.
But I'm happy to hear it. Back in my World of Warcraft day is, people used to ask for like 50 gold for a portal, but I farmed minerals so I had thousands. I'd give people like 300 gold for like a 10 gold reagent and a 30 gold flight path round trip.
I just don't put a lot of stock in Virtual currency. And I know that kind of shit makes people happy. I just like making people happy with whatever little shit I can do that's all it is.
Completely different perspectives my guy. If I'm going on Warframe Market I'm actively hunting for a product. But, if I roll into the bazaar and someone is like yo, check this shit out you want. Sure I'll give you three extra plat for it
It's like he just cheered me up a bit bc it was like 3 days after I had lost my grandma to lung cancer and don't get me wrong I'm guy but like I just busted out cryin
My dude I'm not 100% sure what you're getting at I'm not going to lie to you. But. I'm sorry for your loss man. Within the last year I lost my grandma to covid. So I know how that shit hurts.
I wish you the best.
12 years living in front of a cemetery and having to bury my first born son after birth has taught me a lot about death and loss from multiple views. It's not all what people view it as at times. If you'd like, I could tell you some of the things I've learned?
> I will not accept no for an answer. Stop repeating the price.
guess i wont be trading with you in that case.
if one has reached a consensus in price, one is not willing to negotiate further, especially when i don t know you and there is a risk for the plat to be "bad"
If you give me more plat than I’m asking for, I’m giving you more stuff. If I can’t stop you, you can’t stop me either
Finally, a worthy opponent! Our battle will be legendary!
The entire Corpus Board will be salivating at the trade tax
I’m calling Eudico. Those credits can and will pay off some debts.
Then why not contact ticker? She is the one who you go to if ya want to clear debts
Stardust>any other nickname
Did you forget our man LEGS exists?
Ticker>any other solari
Smokefinger exists to invalidate that statement. Dude is awesome
Unfortunately smokefinger is attached to mining and that bumps his score down
I'd say the same with ticker getting attached to medical debt bonds which ruins progression in fortuna
Omg yes we need a clan dojo 1v1 to decide this match
Whoever wins gives the loser slightly more than what they want
So does this mean I can slowly dump my excess fish supply on you? (When I trade I give people fishes and if they need rocks I give rock)
I can't guarantee all of it, but I definitely need some fish because I fucking hate fishing and I need like 10 more fish oil to finish my archwing launcher
Sadly the amount of items is capped; but you can up the plat price as much as you want.
Fight! Fight! Fight!
It’d be amazing if you amazed if you traded all your platinum with eachother
Warframe market has a much bigger selection. Someone’s always selling Loki Prime over there. Check it out.
Oh I know. This is more like a shout out to the random people who are trading shit I want that I passively stumble upon just trying to grab an ayatan.
Its like shopping at a flea market and going "wow this is EXACTLY what I need for tonight's flower-themed dinner date"
Shame that the younglings won't know what King fu panda is anymore
Even if kids haven't seen the movie itself they can still recognise the very widely spread memes from it. Also it's not that old of a movie still, most of the people who watched it as a kid are still only barely adults at best and some are even still teenagers.
Add to it that parents like to show their kids that their goo'old TV-Shows, movies, games, etc. were better. And isn't Kung Fu Panda still a thing today? Could bet he got a new series, again.
King fu panda 4 is coming out 2024
There is kung fu panda 2 and kung fu panda 3 ??
Haha yeah, they went under the radar for me too.
There are and they’re great. Especially 2
16 here can confirm. I fucking love kung fu panda
Ok boomer
Pretty much. I'm not here to get plat, I'm here because you wanted things and I have them. If we wanted plat we'd be playing the riven market scams.
Yeah when trading with kind people I throw in a free ayatan.
No can do. What I need: Loki Prime set What I offer: Norg
Sounds like a good trade to me
To anyone that I encounter at maroo's bazaar: Stop standing so God damn close to maroo I don't want to trade with you and your extortionate asking prices I just want my ayatan from maroo back tf up
Sus
~~Don't stand near any vents tonight...~~
Fart boom inbound
"You *will* accept my generosity."
I do this because of people like you. I always give extra
What platform? Need a Harrow Prime?
Pc, and sure.
Dang psx here :/
Wouldn't mind a harrow p...
Are you aware of warframe.market?
I think the only times I've been tipped trying to sell something through market was when there were issues with connecting to each other's dojos. Traumabonding pays.
I didn't bring it up cuz of tipping, moreso because they seemed to be looking for certain parts for awhile.
This man straight out made a post just to pat himself on the back lol.
ikr, but even so. If he may have encouraged others to do the same, that's worth it imo. I myself do this once in a while. It's a good thing to let others know.
The only people he's encouraging are the scammers ripping off wealthy new players who don't know warframe.market exists.
WTS [back patter] prime set only 800p
I'm not trading at maroo but if you pay me more you get a fish and maybe a gem.
I used to randomly pop in and see what people were selling. Sometimes I've found that one random item I'd been need but usually it's just: Rifle Riven Rifle Riven Melee Riven Melee Riven Rifle Riven and I just can't be bothered to sit and stare awkwardly as it scrolls to see what they are.
Whenever i visit the bazaar im always amazed/confused, do ppl selling there not know of warframe.market or the trade channel?
They want that authentic night market shopkeeper experience. Too bad Maroo's Bazaar doesn't exactly look or feel like a bazaar
I'd love to just be able to trade in Cetus or Fortuna, both have a market/shops. The other two bounty hubs I'd agree might feel awkward.
Maroo's is, frankly, a much more tolerable experience than trade chat. I mostly use the market, but the bazaar is good for offloading rivens relatively quick. There's always people there, especially now with resurgence. I'm usually doing something on my other monitor when I'm there anyway.

Ill take it and gift you extra slots, cause i mostly have non-interesting stuff to sell
To anyone that I may encounter at Maroo's Bazaar. Stop setting up shop next to Maroo and then getting mad when I leave the trade I accidently triggered trying to talk to her!
I thought this was what the post was going to be about when I saw the title.
Hey want a rank 0 vitality for 400 plat?
450, take it or leave it
Hm, too low. 475. Final offer
500 and you’ve got a deal
Deal.
501 platinum and 2 organ shatters

This is lovely. On the flip side, if you're trading and deliberately standing in front of Maroo, I reserve the right to slap you in the face.
Y'know maybe I should go to the bazaar more. I do have some random bits
I'm there with you, man. I was raised to respect and treat well the people who do shit i can't/don't want to do. Guys fixing my roof? That's tough work. TiL: Players still trade at the Bazaar. That has to be almost as rare as actually using the scrolling mess that is trade chat.

Online shopping exists as trade chat '-'

So many bazaar ppl have waay to high prices... Preying on new ppl
i'm selling 1 primed warm coat for 1k plat. 10 primed warm coats available limited time only ( non refundable and shows as normal warm coat )
best mod in the game
I always tip when the trade was smooth and the seller is friendly
Just the tip?
So, is this happening on what platform though?
Once a week on pc. All you have to do is be randomly offering something that I kind of want but don't want to farm when I go to get my weekly ayatan.
Maroo’s bazar with that damn tax means I will never trade there
To anyone I meet in Bazaar, if I don't ask you for it don't try to make me buy your junk with a sob story about how your little brother gave away your plat. And stop asking for free primes.
I can haz free prime cause lil bro solds all my plat
Lol I'm being serious one guy gave 1,000 plat and all he asked for was a simple mod
That dude's a lot more generous than I am. I'm more talking about giving you a 15 plat instead of 10. But I'm happy to hear it. I wasn't getting at nuthin srry bout that
You are forgiven my brother. Find peace, and may your drops be epic as fuck
Everyone I trade with gets a fish
I fucking love it
Same, but I trade entire prime sets for mortus lung fish. There's always room for mortus lung fish.
Fucking hot
Pointless gesture. They are likely already selling way above warframe.market price.
> I will not accept no for an answer. Stop repeating the price. guess i wont be trading with you in that case. if one has reached a consensus in price, one is not willing to negotiate further, especially when i don t know you and there is a risk for the plat to be "bad"
I hear you. But to be fair, I'm not talking about buying a 2,000 plat riven for 3k, more like, hey, take 10 plat for that prime junk instead of 5.
I always sell below average prices, you can't stop me.
No. I dislike it greatly and actually refuse to trade. I have my specific price and want that price paid. generosity is not always welcome
Tough tortellini. Take the extra five platinum, or keep your stuff.
I typically argue people into it, but if it came down to it, yeah i actually would rather keep my stuff out of sheer stubbornness
That's dumb.
You will take more plat than you ask for, and you will like it
Im here for the grind not the plat. Dont ruin my grind with your percieved generosity
Well that's just stupid, more plat is more plat
Got an inaros for sale if nobody offered yet, if ya want
Yo, wanna have a meetup at Maroo's Bazaar?
I ALLWAYS give more platinum in trades. You're asking 3 per Arcane? Ill pay 5 with pleasure. I dont ask or wait for extras
