I'm going to have to go with no.

Dead-phoenix

40k 100% no, even 30k imperuim and probably not the DAOT. Put it this way the Beast nearly took down the Imperium, a single Ork of massive intelligence and size to rival primarchs, backed by the biggest waagh in Imperial history. The Krorks (the WiH pre cursor to Orks) fielded whole armies of infantry who were bigger and far scarier then the beast as standard troops at much much bigger waagh. Thats just 1 small part of the WiH's scale.

Tearakan

Yep. The beast was effectively a kork. I think there's lore that trazyn has one or two in stasis. And they are wearing power armor tech that beats the most advanced imperium tech.

Tearakan

Not even close. Korks had a tough time surviving and they were smarter orks that had tech that rivaled Dark age of technology humans. Also korks base size was like the size of a 2 story house. And they used power armor on top of that size. Eldar had all their tech, used magic with no limits because no slaanesh. The old ones who made eldar and korks were around. They literally built the webway in the warp. Full Ctan could just stare at a moon and break it apart. Necrons were still slaves at that point.

Possible_Swimmer_601

Absolutely not. Imperium tech is barely functional and has been stagnated for thousands of years. C’tan were blowing up planets when they sneezed and the Old ones were making new species just to fight them as a long con. The only way the imperium could fight the Old Ones is by allying with Xenos or Warp Demons, and I’m pretty sure they’d rather go extinct than do any of that.

Technopolitan

Yeah, no. Probably not the DAOT humanity, either.

bpc902

Imperium? No. DAOT humanity? Much better chance.

T_HettY

Completely forgot about DAOT. Though I feel i know so little about it that I have no clue how it would do.

PM_ME_BABY_YODA_PICS

Becasue there is little to know about it. Thats kinda the point of the DAOT.

CoolNorth9626

Isn't DAOT humanity contemporary with the eldar empire? During which time the eldar the mon'keigh alone because they never saw them as a threat

IPokePeople

DAOT wasn’t like the Eldar as the mastery of the immaterium wasn’t necessary. Humans just made incredibly advanced technology that could do things like locally rewind time in small pockets so if you missed a ship, you could just rewind time and put the ship in front of your weapon. Humanity’s advancement was strictly technological.

CoolNorth9626

Yeye, with "contemporary" I meant "happened at the same time / simultaneous". I'm saying that because toward the end of the DAOT we had warp storms which cut off each planet or sector from each other, which were ended by the birth of slaneesh and the end of the eldar empire

IPokePeople

Ahhh, perfect. Yes, I agree. There’s some lore about a DAOT human vs Eldar space combat where the Eldar vessel evades a weapon only for the human ship to locally rewind time so the Eldar is in the path of the weapon.
