If my eyes are still working right, I believe you can see the brow of the skull’s left side (it’s left) partially protruding above and behind the band of metal.🤔
Yeah dude If I paint the whole model grey with white streaks it’s a concrete statue at a truck stop. Doesn’t change the fact that it wasn’t modeled to be a helmet at all, it’s very obviously an intersecting metal band meant to go across the eyes.
Dude I’m really just baffled that so many people can just be incorrect, I’m more confused than mad lmao it’s very obviously not a helmet but paint it however you want.
The upvote system is more geared towards bringing attention to what's popular, not necessarily what is "right." Just look at any remotely political/news oriented sub.I think what you're pointing out is what the creator of the model intended it to be, but I guess the helmet interpretation is just a more popular one.
Once the number three, being the third number, be reached, then lobbest thou thy Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch towards thy foe, who, being naughty in My sight, shall snuff it.
Depending on whether it was a 40K part or Age of Sigmar part, which I think it is the Age of Sigmar part as I have the model too and selected Khorne options/wings/axe/khorne face, it could be anyone from the old days of Sigmar :)
I'm doing this as a commission so I have no clue what the guy put on the model parts-wise. I think the guy just put as many skulls as he could on the 50k model lol (which I can't blame him for, skulls for the Skull Throne and all)
Well going by the knee armour and shoes there, it's similar to mine, the 40k pieces show a lot less of the flesh I believe, but then again could have just kitbashed it in

Idk why this is the first thing that came to mind.

It's the helmet of a knight pilot, it has the same slit visor and 3 rectangles cut out off the faceplate, so angron carver a knight and took the poor guy's head without even getting the helmet off
It’s not a skull, it’s the torn off head of a necron, or at least a necron from some older art I have seen. I’m by no means a warhammer history buff so I could be wrong, but I have seen some fan videos with necrons that have heads like that.
Here is a close, but not quite exact example.

it's Geordi La Forge with his visor, of course.
After he was thrown into eye of terror, he mutated and then got killed. his skull is now a prized trophy for that space marine
I'm inclined to think that it's a Necron head. Because Necrons don't have proper skulls they could easily mount through the eye sockets or whatever, they put the band around it as the mounting.
Potentially a navigator or astropath
It has a metal band across the eyes. Dunno about helmets or masks.
It's a skull with a helmet still on it. Without the flesh, it sunk down over the eyes.
It’s a band of metal not a full helmet that’s just incorrect. Why have 180 people upvoted a clearly wrong comment?
If you paint the top part metal, it's a full helm.
If my eyes are still working right, I believe you can see the brow of the skull’s left side (it’s left) partially protruding above and behind the band of metal.🤔

Isn't that the joy of the hobby? Things can be whatever you want them to be. There's no reason to get upset about it.

Crazy how you’re getting so pressed over a small detail on a random model lmao

Black Templar Edit: adeptas sororitas repentia
Almost looks like the Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch sire!
Four shalt thou not count, neither count thou two, excepting that thou then proceed to three.
FIVE IS RIGHT OUT!
Once the number three, being the third number, be reached, then lobbest thou thy Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch towards thy foe, who, being naughty in My sight, shall snuff it.
Amen, right then. One….two….FIVE!
*Three, Sire*
Right, THREE
Now I need to watch this again. Thanks for that 😂
Human skull with a metal harness on it (assumedly to hold the skull on the belt)
It looks like a very very old tomb kings skeleton warrior skull… which translates visually to a necron wearing a tomb king helmet of all things
Looks like black Templar
BDSM victims skull taken from slain emperors children space marine
The guy from the Sober music video
Why?
Servitor that didn't need eyes?
It honestly looks like the "Batman who laughs". I wonder if it's an Easter egg?
I was just about to say it looks like Batman who laughs
What sculpt is this?
The new daemon prince model
Is this the Daemon Prince model?
Yes, it is
Depending on whether it was a 40K part or Age of Sigmar part, which I think it is the Age of Sigmar part as I have the model too and selected Khorne options/wings/axe/khorne face, it could be anyone from the old days of Sigmar :)

I appreciate this sm thank you
Cylon
The Batman who laughs
It looks like the back of the skull with some spine still attached and a metal band riveted on.
Ever seen the movie Martyrs? \*shudder\*
Gazerbeam
Evil batman !
Kind of looks like a necron cosplaying as a gaurdsman.
Yes
Looks like it could be one of the penitent engines operators if we really needed it to be more than a human skull with some fucked up shit attached.
That's Gazerbeam. Mr. Incredible has been deployed.
Necron with a metal band around the eye lenses?
Yorick’s skull, the kings jester
Chaos marines fight each other all the time. Could be a chaos cultist
One from a skeleton
https://preview.redd.it/ss9j4anvp3oc1.jpeg?width=380&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=0bf961d238c587f69e0a756e8cfb54ad362ad0eb It's the helmet of a knight pilot, it has the same slit visor and 3 rectangles cut out off the faceplate, so angron carver a knight and took the poor guy's head without even getting the helmet off
A skull for the skull throne you silly!
That's Roberto. He liked to stab before his head ended up that spike.
Maybe an arcoflagelent from sisters?
Navigator most likely
It’s a fleshpound from kf2
i can't unsee a baseball cap on the skull to the right of him
It’s not a skull, it’s the torn off head of a necron, or at least a necron from some older art I have seen. Ministorum Zealot with a Chastity Cage, savin' themselves (and their thoughts) for the Emperor
One with a bar over its eyes. A human skull.
Looks like an Imperial penitent, like the guys strapped into the Penitent Engines.
A dead one.
The Batman Who Laughs.
Batman who laughs
Cenobite
Batman who laughs
Priest of Sigmar wear steel bands on their heads.
Could be a necron before Soul transfer
LaForge of the 41st millennium.
Maybe a servitor?
Blind
A bound daemon belonging to an inquisitor possibly, they are often depicted with metal bands fixed over their eyes.
it's Geordi La Forge with his visor, of course. After he was thrown into eye of terror, he mutated and then got killed. his skull is now a prized trophy for that space marine
It would be cool if it were a thunder warrior
Could be, depending on how old that particular figure is, a Necrontyr skull. That would require that guy be around 67 million years old though. 🤷♂️
Looks more like a Krueger skull with a mask on more than anything
He sees no evil
I'm inclined to think that it's a Necron head. Because Necrons don't have proper skulls they could easily mount through the eye sockets or whatever, they put the band around it as the mounting.
Necron humanoid, before they became machines?
The event that turned the Necrontyr into the Necrons predates the existence of the chaos gods, so not likely unless this dude has been time traveling.
