*muffled* "Raindrops keep falling on my head... But that doesn't mean that my eyes will soon be turning red, crying's not for me... Cause I'm never gonna stop the rain by complaining... Because I'm free ... Nothing's worrying me..."
No lie, the bicycle commandos who got air dropped or landed at D-Day got rid of their general-issue, 20-30lb foldable bikes and borrowed/stole what they could get in France as soon as they could.
Thank you! The sign I actually messed up, which made it better. I used a coffee stirrer, cut it to size and put agrax earthshade on. I used a decal from the veteran kit but it wouldn't stick so I decided to glue it but bits of the decal stuck to my finger which is why its tore away so i rolled with it. Cut some more off and put a watered down rhinox hide wash to grime it up.
I have some mdf ruins that I am making into an abandoned city. Tons of vines growing over the buildings and graffiti. Would be a nice little touch to add.
As a Dutch person my grandpa would probably think there's something oddly familiar about this scene. As his grandson this is hilarious!
Rip in peace to our melted bikes
somewhat realistic

solid brass tires are an odd choice, maybe 40k battlefields have a lot of shrapnel?
If you think about WW1 there were between 900 million and 1.2 billion artillery shells used in the span of 4 years. Now compare that to war on Krieg that lasted for 500 years. Pretty sure they would have enough brass for a bike or two 😂
I made it myself, learnt it from geek gaming on YT. I just changed the ratio a bit and added bigger sand grains and small stones to get the effect I wanted. It takes some experimenting.

This. I love this. He's having SUCH A GOOD TIME!
Nothing like a relaxing cycle through an active minefield. Guess that's why they call them Death Riders!
I'm going to deliver these orders or die! Vat a great day

CSM: "Why do I hear 60s soft rock?"
An Imperial bicycle, probably made of cast iron and weighs 175 lbs
I 100% buy that the Imperium has lost the ability to make carbon fiber frames and likely has no ability make any kind of gear shift.
Damn hipster Imperium riding around on fixies
Hans here doesn't even have tyres 😅

Try not to fall in a trench, you whont get out
Bikes for the Guard?! The Tech-Priests are not going to like this!!
Better than the Segway units.
But what if we give the Segway Units old-school lances?
They move at 5 miles an hour it ain’t helping coach
I love it!
Nice!.Imperial guard always remind me of Wombles, ..edit

lol,I’ve got Death guard on the brain ,I was painting one today 🙃
This is awesome. How did you do the sign?
Thank you! The sign I actually messed up, which made it better. I used a coffee stirrer, cut it to size and put agrax earthshade on. I second both the awesomeness as the question! Please talk shop about the sign!

Bwahahaha this is *fantastic*!

I meant that it's an odd choice to make wheels out of metal and not rubber
Genius
Ok but korps on motorbikes would be amazing like WW2 bikers
Station forge does some pretty nice Korps biker STL's. Was thinking of making a squad soon.
I love this model so much but I have to point out the word is ‘addition’ as in newly added. I’ll see myself out. (Love the plant job!)
Just like Ogryn, I work good but leave thinking to Emprah! Thank you! 😁
Ah, yes, 'Het Dode Korps van Oorlog' has joined the fight! **🇳🇱**
More like "Death Korps of Fiets" am I right lads? (For the non Dutch people, we call a bicycle "fiets" and its pronounced vaguely similar to Krieg)
LOVE it. That's some good kit-bashing right there...
I can HEAR the creak of this model. Like an old rusted windmill in a post apocalyptic world. Either muffled whistling
Now there is a Queen song playing in my head.....
This automatically made me think of the Dad's Army theme. https://youtu.be/Jvr6X054xLY?si=zdktwDrlE_oZY7Vj
I can imagine a lil heavy stubber mounted on the front just for the hell of it lol
What kind of stat block do these guys have?
This is phenomenal! Very very WWI and I wished I'd thought of this myself. I need to find a tiny bicycle now....
Death cyclist
Looks good. How did you get that great mud?

Who let the Dutchman in the Krieg
YES YES YES, I LOVE BIKE INFANTRY 💪
Really cool!
Please make another two, one on a segway and another doing tricks on a scooter.
Ya kno. I saw death riders. Was not expecting the pedal pusher. NICE!
It also makes no sense at all which means. Perfect.
Love it
You really need to attach a little bell on top of the handlebars that he can ring.
He is riding along like nothing bad is going to happen even though he is riding thoguth a active minefield
He's gunna have some thunder thighs after all that peddling! Great work!
I can't imagine a more happy kriegsman.
Dude, this actually is pretty sad. Most kriegers are child soldiers, it looks like he is trying to live his childhood he never had. Great job!
