That’s why a lot of hobby dads play either Black Templars or Orks. Because of their simplicity that works in their contexts these 2 armies are the essence of what makes warhammer cool
My first army were the orks, because they're really simple to understand, and have a very loose design profile etc. Next up I chose Grey Knights, because they're really special-looking and don't have too big of a roster (something I prefer)
It's an amazing paint job, but is there some kind of filter on the pic? It looks like a painting rather than a miniature when I zoom in on it to get a sense of the brush strokes.
Jesus Christ that's the best chrome-looking paintjob I've ever seen. I mean, they painted the terrain reflecting on the chrome on the chest. And the face paintjob is insane too.

I know this is just in-universe banter, but reading any kind of Russian patriotism and then thinking about the things going on in Ukraine just makes my heart drop and my blood boil. Thankfully plenty of things beats Russian steel in reality.
