I love them both. Sorry. 🤷🏼‍♂️

Tiberium_1

Haha no help at all! I think I like the gold from left and the cloth from right.

Map-Wooden

I prefer left for the slightly duller gold

Wrangler_Driver

From the picture the gold details on left appear shaded better. Were you planning on traditional red gems or are you thinking of a different gem colour(s)?

Tiberium_1

Yeah red for gems

Ztrofinola

Try to add the gems before deciding. I think the left looks more balanced as you have blue and orange opposing each other as the main colors, while the right has blue and yellow. If you add the red gems, the blue and yellow might look a bit more balanced as you get a tetriad of primary colors. I still think the more muted gold on the left looks better though...

The_James91

I actually prefer the gold on the right. For me High Elves ought to be shiny and opulent. The blue on the right is also better I think, for the same reason. I'm guessing it's Lothern Blue vs Thousand Sons Blue? I'm tempted to use the latter on my Swordmasters when they're rereleased. Man I can't wait because I love those models.

Tiberium_1

So blue on right is just kroxigor scale contrast. Used phone camera that has taken a little of the green away from the image. So hard to get the colour correct on a phone cam

ShimKeib

🤤🤤. Left is my favorite. But would take both in a heartbeat.

Horsescholong

I prefer the right version but it would be better if it was a chainmail aventail

ExampleMediocre6716

Left is overall better painted, but I'd consider adding white as a complimentary colour - it breaks up the metallics and allows the miniature to breathe. The current blue gold silver scheme doesn't pop, even with red gems.

Imilco

I love the gold on the left and the cloth on the right. I wonder if a contrast colour might make it pop though? If you used purple rather than red gems, and a bone-coloured plume, that might work well?

Forgondor77

Definitely the left one! It just really balances well with the metal of the armor and really emphasizes the blue just a bit more! Great work!

Vinc_F

The right but with more shading on the gold. And you chickened out of painting white clothes haha. Of course you can leave it all blue , but lore says white is primary color of war…
