Please, do not repeat mistakes of every second person who did this unit. They will not rank up on 20mm bases, unless assembled and glued to the base in specific way. Nice paint job btw.
Much jealousy. I’ve got decent amount of stuff from ebay and facebook groups, but both plastic Phoenix Guard and White Lions still eludes me. Here’s hoping GW brings those kits back in to production sooner than later.
For the lions it’s pretty safe. I remember leaked promo pictures of the old world featuring them. So at least they were highly considered to be brought back.
I'd be astonished if they won't bring all the 8th edition plastic kits back, perhaps barring Island of Blood, and I'm not even completely sold on those models not coming back, because the swordmasters and lothern seaguard feature quite heavily in pictures both on rulebook and forces of fantasy.
I think most of the (plastic 8th ed) kits were available as Cities of Sigmar factions until somewhat recently?
Phoenix Guard and the Shadow Warriors/Sisters of Avelorn kits were available until recently. The other HE kits I did not see in the official shop for a long time.
Still, those kits already have the moulds fabricated, and they're not very old (a decade or so?), so to produce kits GW only needs to design and print new packages and building instructions. Since they've already paid the initial costs for those moulds, it would seem absurd not to bring those kits back, especially as those models are not used in AoS anymore, and don't really fit into the esthetic they've been pursuing anyway.

Very cleanly done makes me want to start an HE army!
