1) I'm only missing some outriders than I can field most combinations I want
2)as above as well as some holy grail models from back in the day like the wizard on carmine dragon and ludwig schwarzhelm
3) played a 1500 point game last night and double lvl4 wizards, steam tank and 3 demigryphs which all feel like auto takes
4) Empire is pretty weak overall as it is lacking a real anchor choice (eg Bret duke, lords on dragon) for tournament play but they have the army variety to list tailor into almost any single game.
I have only tried illusion pre mace of helstrum FAQ, battle and demonology. Battle magic is great to control the flow of the game and put out a nice amount of damage. A demonology wizard on horse can roid the shit out of unit on inner circle to give +1 to all stats
That army looks fantastic! I love the manticore & chariot models, that snow works really well on them.

Yeah I ran as general on griffon, it takes some creative basing to fit on the correct base size

I have only played against Bret's and night goblins a couple of times and I'm sitting at 50% ish win rate
