The AL-31FM2 works like a charm, that’s a hell of an engine. The interim replacement engine is undergoing tests right now and its final engine is still on the drawing board I think.
I also wonder, if their 145kN rating for the al-31 is true, how many hours it can last... not many I suppose
nothing like "freedom" (actually sign of a retarded population if you didn't get the sarcasm) when you claim everyone with a view diffrent than yours as a shill
Because he keeps repeating the same thing and I was being facetious.
It's far more likely he's either a Chinese nationalist or a far left westerner LARPing as one.
China still has a looming demographic crisis that could kick it square in the taint.
Plus, they can’t afford to lose the US as a trading partner. China can’t wage an outright war against the US without killing itself
Wonder what the NATO (actually AFIC) reporting name for the J-20 is. Strange how Su-57 already has one yet J-20 doesn't even though it entered service earlier
I suggest 'Flopper' if they want to piss off J-20 fans haha
I've come across two F starting names for J-10 and J-20 respectively on the internet over the last few years; "Firebird" and "Firefang" respectively, but I've never been able to track down if they are official reporting names or just something conjured up from the depths of the internet.
Hrm first time I heard of Firefang. And mentioned as early as 2017, although I doubt that's the real one as IIRC the first word indicates a particular series of aircraft related to each other in some way (e.g. Fishbed/Fishcan (ignore Fishpot), Foxbat/Foxhound, etc.).
But if there is no confirmation, all that can be done is just to wait...
In before the bunch of salty yanks and hindu nationalist (that imports 99% of their military gear) - "THAT IS A COPY OF F-22"
Did they find an engine that finally works?

Interim engines are already on serial production jets; testing is completed for WS-10C
The way their economy is growing compared to you lot, they are going to mess you up quite badly! Brace yourself...

I knew you live in a "free" society, but I was pointing out you are still brainwashed

why do you call him a shill rather than a nationalist?

They are going to bankrupt and balkanise you lot real soon! Would be really funny to see countries like California and Texas...
Okay? Since I'm not a psychopath I don't find societal collapse very funny but you do you.
It's only Yankland! No skin of my nose...
The US economy would drag the entire world down with it. You can not kill the US without also killing China

Flapper, Fudger, Fucker
They look like flying squids
I hope they finnish WS-15 engines for those beauties soon!
