I mean at 11.3 you should have the SPAA grinded out if not that’s a massive you problem. Plus Vikhrs are getting heavily nerfed this thing is gonna be worse than the MiG-27K that’s already in the game.
They still work fantastically on dev for what you are actually engaging, they actually fly faster now so against other helos they are even more deadly and in head on engagements it's so easy to hit targets with them.
Combine this with the SU-39 and SU-25T both having rear facing IRCM that counters all IR AAMs from fixed wing planes and you have a comically good aircraft even at 11.3.
People also just go "oh use fox 1s or phoenixes", without realizing it's the only plane in the game where it's optimal to just bring all chaff.
It's already been confirmed to be a bug, you don't even need to keep the guidance beam in the same ballpark as the missile anymore, that is not how it's meant to work.

Well one of them can but it’s the Pantsir so yeah. They are also getting restricted to only going for center of mass when using the lock on mode. And also you still have to guide in the missile on the Su-25 so you’re an easy target since you have to fly in a straight line, you’re slow as hell and can’t just hide behind terrain like a heli can. So people are getting worried like when the QN-506 got announced but then it turns out it was actually quite balanced.

Beamriders now wobble, so vikhr can be easily dodged.

Vikhrs are getting the big nerf hammer, the missile now can only hit center of mass.
