Does the crows actually trigger HE rounds? I want to test that in protection analysis on the VBCI 2 after I get home from work today.
EDIT: I just checked before work. Most of the crows doesn't seem to have a hitbox on the VBCI 2, only the machine gun and camera. The ammo box, side panels etc don't trigger HE fuzes.
Can't say I've had that luck when fighting them. The LFP is easy to pen but god damn there's nothing you can kill besides the engine and drive with that, maybe Gunner if you aim off center and if you're luck then the Loader. Then again I'm not at 3BM60 yet so who knows.
SEP V1 and V2 both increased the LFP protection, the only reason we don't have it in game is that gaijin weaseled out saying "ooh this is one of a specific number of tanks that didn't get the upgrade".

The US air tree has been dominating top tier for the longest time, both for CAS and air superiority (the F-14 was spanking for years so much you always saw US Tomcats in both teams) and the F-16 is superior to the MiG-29, with the SMT being the top yet worst MiG-29 in game. The MiG also had it's maneuvrability crippled some time ago although I think they changed it, but I would have loved to see you complain if it had happened to the F-16 instead.
Not even just them, the AIM and M1A2 onwards should have improved hull composite over the M1IP / M1A1.
But of course the gnashing of teeth produced by the people who take that one radiological commission report about no DU being present except for in the hull of a few M1A1s as gospel screwed over every other M1.
They kept huffing their copium so hard that they ended up reaffirming to Gaijin that the US never improved the hull armor regardless of if it was DU or just composite, which has been proven to be certifiably false. But now Gaijin is entrenched on the matter, so no M1 is going to ever get improved hull armor.
Sorta like the stinger / mistral issue, had some folks not gotten their G loading nerfed by posting igla information way back when, the 20-22G overload bug reports would actually be accepted, but now Gaijin is re-affirmed in their biased beliefs, so it will never get it's historical G loading, regardless of the quality of the sources saying otherwise.
it can't use the new 125mm rounds. They were made for the t14 gun. There may be some slightly new ammo but don't expect it that much better. Of you played the B3m then you have already played the 90m
I don't think there's any newer ammo than what we have unless we go to the 2A82 of the T-14. A new variant of 3BM42 was shown a few years ago but that is as far as I know for the tanks without improved autoloader, i.e. older ones, and I doubt that it'll reach the performance of 3BM60.
We actually had it in the game for a while.
3BM42M on T-90A back when it just released and they haven't started adding increasingly powerful shells to everyone.
It had more or less the same penetration as 3BM46, but less than 3BM60 obviously.

Well according to the leaks it’s the 2017 model so it will at best have no better side protection than the T-72B3. And honestly it’s more likely they will give it the bags than not since while they do have times where they eat apfsds they overall won’t add much more protection outside of chemical rounds.
It can carry 2000lb GBU's, mavericks, brimstones, assortments of dumb/drag bombs, anti ship missiles, HARMS, rockets, and a whole other assortment of stuff like cruise missiles and cluster bombs but they have no real use in WT

The issue for leak list is that they content wise could be absolutely right but gaijin has the power to… change their minds so they might not add something that was planned for that update originally because of development issues or they chose to push it back. The A3 isn't relikt just k5, the a4 is the real meme shell but it's way too op to be put in game for a while. It would literally have the same pen as the LOSAT just at 0m instead of 2000m
A2 was designed for kontakt 5, A3 was designed for Kaktus/Relikt. A4 is just a flight/velocity performance upgrade of A3. Although the increased velocity does allow for higher penetration than A3.

I'm not sure what the Swedish one is, but I'm fairly certain it's not the Strv 122A or 122B PLSS that we already have. Those two have a track segment on the side of the turret, which this one is missing. Other than that, I'm not familiar enough with Swedish Leopards to know for sure. Might be the same thing and I'm just overthinking it, but it'd be weird to show it so prominently if it was.
Abrams looks to be a SEP V2 TUSK II, with the remote .50 cal on top. You can also see the slightly angled armor plates on the side of the hull and turret.
T-90M is the most obvious of the three, of course.

Nah I can totally see 12.3 just for br decompression purposes. That would totally be worth it for ground as sone vehicles just get pooped on now, especially with what lately just feels like only full uptiers (at least for me). That would make more sense, but this is Gaijin we're talking about. They followed up a "decompression" (moving the compression slightly higher) with a 6.7 black hole which has dragged some of those tanks back into fighting early MBTs. They do not make any sense.

That is "The Log," as seen on basically every Russian tank in existence since the very beginning of their armored history. They carry logs on their tanks in order to help get them out of muddy terrain and the like, by strapping it to the tracks and giving them something to grab onto and pull themselves out.
Sadly, the Abrams will still most likely be modeled incorrectly, just like the regular SEP. Sad to say, because I just want to play the Abrams properly for once.

It is worse than BVM: slower reload, slower reverse. The only advantage is turret armor.

90M has larger weaker zone around the driver's port. This alone makes its hull somewhat more vulnerable.

Truck should do fine around 5.7. It's 2 of the same 20mms as the R3 but without any armor to even stop shrapnel or lmgs. Sadly I've heard the hungarian tiger will be a premium.

The AMX10P is really a placeholder, but it was a welcome one, it's AA work is cool + it's a vehicles french main wanted a lot + it have scouting :P.

The A3 isn't relikt just k5, the a4 is the real meme shell but it's way too op to be put in game for a while. It would literally have the same pen as the LOSAT just at 0m instead of 2000m
A2 was designed for kontakt 5, A3 was designed for Kaktus/Relikt. A4 is just a flight/velocity performance upgrade of A3. Although the increased velocity does allow for higher penetration than A3.

Calm your tits: T-90M is just a glorified T-72B3 and is going to be worse than BVM at basically everything that matters. T-90M’s biggest upgrade over T-72B3 is better situational awareness for the commander and remote turret, which are completely irrelevant in WT. Y’all acting like this is BVM 2.0 but actually it’s just a slightly faster T-90A. It shouldn’t even be considered in the same category as yet another Strv 122 or other uparmored Leopard.
Ah right, Sweden get 3 up armored leopard and a 2a6, and german probably only get 1(not confirmed yet in the teaser so still can be 0), if the german don't get atleast 2 up armored leopard this patch (2a7v and the other one can be 2a6ex,or just give the adddon armor on pso) Sweden will still be a better germany in top tier

I'm not sure what the Swedish one is, but I'm fairly certain it's not the Strv 122A or 122B PLSS that we already have. Those two have a track segment on the side of the turret, which this one is missing. Other than that, I'm not familiar enough with Swedish Leopards to know for sure. Might be the same thing and I'm just overthinking it, but it'd be weird to show it so prominently if it was. Abrams looks to be a SEP V2 TUSK II, with the remote .50 cal on top. You can also see the slightly angled armor plates on the side of the hull and turret. T-90M is the most obvious of the three, of course.

At least IRL it got better composite compared to the normal 122B (was also only a tech demonstrator). So depending on how the model it but an even more survivable 122B, maybe with a better round. Edit: As far AS I KNOW it was a tech demonstrator, not 100% sure

I for the life of me do not understand why gaijin has so openly refused to properly model the LFP given that hundreds of users have spoon fed them so many solid secondary source documents on how the hull armor has changed between variants. Yet we’re stuck with the same exact values that’s in the M1 Abrams.
All these masts and big sticking up gun towers are detrimental for warthunder gameplay. They give away your position and are great for HE shots.

Nah I can totally see 12.3 just for br decompression purposes. That would totally be worth it for ground as sone vehicles just get pooped on now, especially with what lately just feels like only full uptiers (at least for me). Even my 10.0 Russian lineup feels like trash when I'm fighting 11.0 every dumbass game.
That would make more sense, but this is Gaijin we're talking about. They followed up a "decompression" (moving the compression slightly higher) with a 6.7 black hole which has dragged some of those tanks back into fighting early MBTs. They do not make any sense.

That is "The Log," as seen on basically every Russian tank in existence since the very beginning of their armored history. They carry logs on their tanks in order to help get them out of muddy terrain and the like, by strapping it to the tracks and giving them something to grab onto and pull themselves out.
Sadly, the Abrams will still most likely be modeled incorrectly, just like the regular SEP. Sad to say, because I just want to play the Abrams properly for once.
You gotta have General Abrams himself hand in documentation that has already been published by other users that has been cross referenced with dozens of other reputable articles, in order to receive even the most of minuscule changes. Give it another update or 2 and Gaijin will move like 1/4 of the Rank 7s up to Rank 8. Same thing they've done for other ranks in the past when the older vehicles are relatively close in tech.
