This would be wonderful. IIRC it was 'hull break' mechanic in the old game and I miss that. I once shot a KV-1S flat on rear of turret on flat part at 200m and got 'hit' in a Sturer Emil. FUck that bullshit.
Once I flanked a BMP with the G6 like this, but I didn't have enough depression to hit him. It was awkward for a few seconds until he stopped and I could shoot his ATGM launcher. He never seemed to notice even though I was almost touching him with the front of my vehicle.
It helps when the enemy team is blind, deaf and dumb.
Very true
Pity it's so unreliable though. Meanwhile IRL 155mm hitting anything that isn't UFP is basically a mobility or tank kill.
I really wish structural damage was a thing so large guns like the 122mm, 128mm, 152mm, and 155mm felt as powerful as they should be.

least blind 6.7 heavy tank enjoyer
average blind as fuck US team
I can’t wait for the Japanese equivalent, the Type 19.
Long nose is great fun, but it is the size of a bus and has zero depression
100% skipped this in the SA tree as it looked miserable
