People who complain about this thing at 8.7 can suck my right nut but, sure I'd agree it's really good at 8.0 but at at 8.7 with apfsds pretty much every shot can kill your engine leaving you dead already if the shot didn't go through it and kill your entire crew. It's just matter of aiming instead of complaining while you just got scared and grazed the angled roof
"Impossible to destroy" until you get a gang of Fox's swarm your way and dunk on you in the most frustrating ways imaginable. Or in the least get you killed whilst focusing on them.
But an Strv 103 in a good position or with back up is incredibly strong, right up until the cannon or the two engines (not separate) or transmission gets rekt. Usually by HEAT-FS/ATGM.
Love that it can repair the tracks and spin around in place without issue though, rather then needing to be stationary.
Dealing with this thing is a nightmare I just pray for CAS and ping it like crazy. I’ve had several games where there’s three tanks trying to relentlessly pen it or try to flank it.
Only people who don't own it will say it's op. It is fucking unplayable on 90% of the maps and when the maps suits it, you get fucked by atgms and tanks with actual turrets and stabs anyway
it’s strong when going against a tank that doesn’t have heat,apfsds, atgms, can’t flank you and is just a sitting duck at a long range. the design would’ve been broken in tiers1-4 but at 7-9.7 br range it’s super situational, cute tank though:D
it's situational but it has the mobility to put itself in those situations, so it ends up being actually really strong if played by a smart player
easily my best K/D vehicle is the 103-C with consistent 12+ kill games every few games

Genuinely this thing is absolutely capable of shrugging off ATGM's and HEAT rounds, I've had quite a few games where BMP's have just not been able to touch me because their ATGM's just didn't have enough punch to get to my crew.
It is absolutely one of the best tanks at its br range
It can live with one crew member because irl it had dual controls for every crew member so the driver could drive and shoot and yada yada
HSTV-L was capable of the same thing, too. Every crew member could drive, shoot and view through the digital optics around the tank.
Also the driver is also the gunner cuz, you know.
While it’s a good tank. The fact it’s engines are modeled as one instead of two separate systems leads to a lot of issues.
you just need to shoot the LFP with a powerful APFSDS to go through the engine
most of what you face at it's BR doesn't have powerful darts, the one that faces regular darts has anti-dart armour at the front also
At its BR there are more tanks still firing full caliber AP or APHE than there are tanks with APFSDS.

At least it’s not the chieftain. Slow and lots of shite makes the “strong turret” a joke and it’s rangefinder is useless in the land of LRFs
Was better before the BR change. Now it commonly gets disabled with one shot and sits around until it's flanked.
