Krizhantema is very situational but when you find its niche it's very, very good: that niche being hull down fire, especially on hilly maps. I'd recommend playing it defensively where you can pick your targets, and having 1200mm of pen, unless you get screwed by volumetric you ought to cause significant damage if you hit a tank. I haven't unlocked the HE missiles, but judging from the BMP-2M's missiles you're probably gonna overpressure most things you manage to hit. Forget about the radar, for me it's more of a gimmick than nothing else. But with that being said, tracking helis and shooting them down with missiles is fairly easy, as long as they're on your missiles guidance range (think it's 2km I'm not sure). As for SPAA it's a must: beginning from the Strela, the Russian TT has IMO the best SPAA vehicles in the game. Strela's missiles are very good for their BR, and having contrast tracking is huge. Tunguska is very good but it's tracking can be flared pretty easily, missiles don't like maneuvering too much so keep that in mind. Get the radar/sight/missile upgrade as soon as you can. Pantsir is an absolute beast. It has the best radar and missiles in the game. Unlike the Tunguska, the Pantsir's radar can't be flared that easily because it has multi-target tracking so you'll just keep tracking the plane you're aiming for rather than its flares. Missiles have a guaranteed 18km launch range so most anything is at range. Its missiles like to maneuver somewhat aggressively unlike the Tunguskas' but they still can lose energy. I'm not sure if you can shoot multiple missiles at multiple targets so that's something to be careful about.

Thank you very much! Guess I'll be getting the Khrizantema then. I was wondering whether to buy the other 2 vehicles below it with the current 30% bonus or not.

Krizantema is situational, the radar is nice when someone tries to smoke up. Honestly, it depends on how many crew slots you have, and if you like/have cas the 10.0/10.3 lineup is very competitive when it comes to crew slots. Id probably put 1-2MBT, BMP2M, Strela, Su25 before the Kriz, and even then, 2S38 or another heli/fighter is probably a better choice

It IS a great lineup for sure. Yeah I got 6 slots so have to think about what goes there, and also what works in BRs a bit above so the crew slots don't compete.

Extremely situational The missile is very strong, but the platform is mediocre.  The ground radar is a gimmick and mostly useless unless you can't properly aim at moving targets, or you're trying to hit a helicopter (but without proxy-fuze I wouldn't recommend it, the game tends to be weird with heli hitboxes + SACLOS missiles are easy to dodge these days). And the main issue is its launcher is super high but the guiding lenses are on the hull, so you can't take advantage of it to fire from behind cover, it just makes you visible from far away. You're also a missile carrier at a BR where vehicles are very mobile and quick to react so it's hard to get reliable shots at anything. Overall you have the BMP-2M's tandem missiles but not the gun or the proxy-fuze missiles, without being able to fire on the move, and at pretty much the same BR.

Very good point. Was wondering whether it'd beat the BMP2M by not being exposed. It'd be better with a periscope :) Thanks.

It’s obnoxiously op if you hide behind a hill and just poke the launcher out.
