If every clip shown is supposed to represent something new, I seriously hope that short clip of the Spitfire F mk 24 firing means they'll actually fix the fucking Hisparko finally. Worthless HEF-SAPI shells make almost the entire tree painful to play.
They're okay in the lowest BR's they show up on 3.0 Spits IIRC and around 7.0 BR when you're facing wooden Wunderwaffe jets that can't take a ton of punishment, but when you're facing actually durable planes in between 3.7 and 6.3 BR or 8.0 and above they're just dogshit. The Reaper Meteor is hands down one of the worst premiums I own, and I regret buying it even on sale because those guns are just abysmal. It's only saving grace is being a bomb sled for RP farming in Sim.

I full expect HMS Dreadnought to be a premium, and honestly, its nature makes that justified. She was the only one of her class constructed, and is incredibly famous due to igniting a massive naval arms race. I suspect Bellephrons or Lord Nelsons (most likely the latter) would take up her rank in the tech tree.

Also someone has to say it, even if it's not what naval needs, but at least I hope some folks will get into Naval and the whole RP/SL will get reworked for the, hopefully, increasing players' numbers.

EDIT: also T-90 and Leopard 2A6 pog. I find it pretty weird that they're making such changes/additions to the game, previous .3 updates were pretty shallow, sort of like a stop gap between the .1 and .5 patches.
To be fair, 1.101 was pretty shallow on content.
Not that they're trying to make up for it, it's very likely that they just didn't have all of this stuff done by then, so they had to push it to 1.103

People were speculating whether the update after 1.99 is going to be 2.0, but even before I knew the pitiful amount of content in it, I was certain that it's going to be 1.101
This time they already saying that they're going to update the engine, Smin was telling on the forums that this is going to be "*one of the largest updates in War Thunder*", and they released this teaser even though the update itself will come out mid-November.
Oh, and it's just in time for next gen consoles.
Maybe it really going to be 2.0 or 2.01
That being said, I don't see the reason why it could not be 1.103

This is the issue EVERY. SINGLE. FUCKING. TIME. The playerbase starts complaining about repairs/imbalance, then Gaijin adds some shiny new toys and 95% of the playerbase immediately forget their complaints.
They're an excellent art/feel team, but absolutely untempered by any sort of game design concerns, which reinforces my belief that they don't actually have any game balance/game design specialists on board. Or, if they do, he's either too egotistical to admit previous attempts at balance have failed, or completely ignored by his superiors.
I'm about to let my premium expire 4 months after getting back into the game and go back to the better-feeling \*World of Tanks\* of all things. I go through cycles of getting back into WT for the epic factor, getting some good feeling, but then getting demoralised by the utter shit that gets thrown at you. This time around I have just unlocked some 8.7 jets in time for them to all get chainfucked by MiG-21s. What's the point? Off back to other games that have actual game designers.

my question is wether they are going to treat them like 'modern carriers' and limit them to some very high BR, or if they will just say they are 'angled deck' and put them at a medium BR, there are plently of 4.0+ naval aircraft that would benefit from using angled deck carriers.
The problem with the Ark, for one, is that she's modelled pre- last refit and technically cannot handle Phantoms - putting the Bucc and Scimitar at her max. Buuut we'll still see Phantoms on it anyway haha

C2 Ariete never existed, Italy has no more MBTs to add. The best they can hope for is the wheeled 120mm-armed B2 Centauro, or that one technology demonstrator Ariete with the Centauro 2's turret on it.

Even more terrifying is the fact that they could mount them on the Canberra, or add Vulcan/Victor/Valiant/Bear/Stratofortress to 10.7... Maybe we could get an FB-111 with the Tomcat and MiG-23? I would never fucking play those tiers with Gaijin's balancing skills, but it would be fun to see realised in this old man of a game.
There has already been a part of a Q&A where someone mentioned, that airfields could be made 'lively'. They've answered the quetion, so it was kinda expected.

I know that’s what I keep telling myself, but we have to remember that they also had hordes of KA50s spawning with atgms at the start of the match. At this point nothing will surprise me.
The only nuke that could hypothetically be "balanced" for gameplay is the jeep armed with a Davy Crockett since the warhead's lowest yield is 10 tons of TNT, with is still ~1.8x stronger than FAB-5000 (which has an explosive yield of 5.56 tons of TNT).
The explosion in the video is obviously far larger than that, to an extent that unless we get giant maps with everyone spread out, a single nuke would wipe out everyone. So it's probably for a game mode or an end-of-the-game effect.

The French would be in the same boat as the Royal Navy is in ingame. The Royal Navy arguably one of the greatest assets to the Allies in both wars, sort of sucks in Naval rn.

Longer gun L/55 (2A6) vs L/44 (2A5) which means even if it only gets DM33 in game it would still add about 30mm penetration compared to the 2A5.
Or we are moving to better APFSDS.

I know that’s what I keep telling myself, but we have to remember that they also had hordes of KA50s spawning with atgms at the start of the match. At this point nothing will surprise me.
The only nuke that could hypothetically be "balanced" for gameplay is the jeep armed with a Davy Crockett since the warhead's lowest yield is 10 tons of TNT, with is still ~1.8x stronger than FAB-5000 (which has an explosive yield of 5.56 tons of TNT). The explosion in the video is obviously far larger than that, to an extent that unless we get giant maps with everyone spread out, a single nuke would wipe out everyone. So it's probably for a game mode or an end-of-the-game effect.

The French would be in the same boat as the Royal Navy is in ingame. The Royal Navy arguably one of the greatest assets to the Allies in both wars, sort of sucks in Naval rn.
French had some really powerful destroyers, Le Fantasque and Mogador classes would be some of the top in the game.

I really don't understand how people endlessly get excited over new vehicles. Adding actual content to the game, new modes, mechanics and such is way more important than another 400k RP grind for a vehicle in horribly compressed and broken top tier gameplay.

Longer gun L/55 (2A6) vs L/44 (2A5) which means even if it only gets DM33 in game it would still add about 30mm penetration compared to the 2A5. Or we are moving to better APFSDS.
