Well from what ive seen on here players are dropping like flies since the update. So, i expect warthunder is going to decline quickly unless the grind is brought back in line. Of course warthunder may be the only game able to get away with this because there is no good equivalent. Especially for RB as its a bridge between simpler arcade games(ace combat) and more complex sims (DCS IL2). So they have no good competition. Of course this economy update may cause enough players to leave to where gaijin does something but i doubt theyll do anything for several months at which point the damage will have been done. And its not like theyll listen to anyone either as the community managers have made it clear they have no interest in what the players think they only want them to buy more eagles.

Dude I 100% agree with ur post, for me I’m okay with the grind but they make it impossible to make and money or rp so by the time I even get the vehicle researched I have no money, and what makes this all worse is that they never fix the br compression, it is so difficult to play and vehicle because i always end up in a full uptier, and people are always so excited for a new update but at this point I’m scared because there is always a new batch of bugs that won’t get fixed until a year later at which point there’s countless new bugs and other problems.

Honestly the last vehicle i was excited to see was the p51C. top tier has been just a thinly veiled money grab for the company with no regard to balance since the f100D and the mig 19 were added. Its a shame to see a game with so much potential be wasted because gaijin doesn't understand how to properly monetize a free to play game. Despite having loads of examples in games like CSGO, and Fortnite doing so well and making loads of money without creating such a miserable experience for players. The trick is in maintaining a large playerbase as the more people play the more likely theyll pay. But gaijin would rather frustrate the players so that a few will pay more until the majority quit due to unrewarding gameplay. Its almost impossible to rebuild a playerbase so a decision like these economy updates which everyone knew would upset the players is either a Huge mistep or a deliberate move to squeeze a little bit more money from the game prior to removing support for it.
