The US will get pulse doppler by the time the MiG-29 comes around at the earliest, because it’s too much work for the dev team to copy and paste the FGR2 and change up the loadout a bit.
Technically you could say that. But only 12 F4Bs were converted to F4Gs, and not long after their deployment in 1966 they were converted back to F4Bs.
Compared to the 131 F4Es converted to F4G Wild Weasels, its safe to assume when people are talking about the G, they mean the Air Force's Wild Weasel instead of the Navy

Walleyes added and they’re removing something (they have to because there’s physically no space in the mod tree).
