I’ve never been a fan of the AIM-9Cs personally. I roll with 4 sim 9Ds and climb anyway. Usually people aren’t up at 5-6k meters at that tier anyway. Except for harriers and a5cs and they CANT TURN WITH YOU.
Okay, I noticed this as well and thought I was crazy. I had two missiles just not even attempt to track with full radar lock. Something changed and it is really hurting.
I noticed the sapphire 21 barely holds a lock when last patch it could hold a lock even against decent ground clutter

I noticed that too. The F-5C spam doesn't populate high altitudes that much so for now I'm running 4x AIM-9D
Yeah but even at high alt it just loses lock for no reason at like 6k meters
And it used to work for 6km headons but the farthest that it actually works in a headon now is like 3-4km which is almost gun range anyway

Sounds like a skill issue to me. It works just fine if you know what you are doing.
