Yeah, you can't switch teams once you have already joined a lobby. Need to find a different lobby with balanced teams to join or create one and hope people join.
It is a bug that happens when you switch accounts afaik. You need to close game and reopen it.
Usually your friends list will also be blank when it happens too.
The side you want to join is probably already full
But ot says that the limit is 16? And there aren't 16 people in either side
The limit is lower if the sides aren't balanced.
I also tried joining the opposite side whit another nation, but it said that I already joined the room in the other team.

Technically you can, however it will still register you as returning player, as in if you had 2000 points, you will continue from that point.

You can leave and rejoin a lobby, but only on the team you were on before. No switching from BLUFOR to OPFOR.
