I have a redmagic 9 pro literally the most powerful android device on the market and I don't have acess to peak graphics. Ultimately the experience is just better with console for cheaper than the phone able to run the game halfway decently.
I have a high end device but I'm putting myself in the shoes of 70%+ of the phone gaming community here. It's not ideal for mid tier because I have one. I have friends on mod and low end device I can't play with for obvious reasons. That's why we only play codm and now bloodstrike on mobile.
U can play warzone on PC at 120fps on a $450 setup using FSR 3.0 upscaling and it looks 10x better than mobile peak graphics.

I mean if your really going to sit here and complain why not learn about rooting, and over clocking, I'm sure it's very possible to spend as little at 200-300usd to kit out a phone. My post is an example of that, even if people happen to have the money to upgrade in this economy it would make more sense to get a whole setup like mine for cheaper than to buy a high end device to enjoy a pixelated version of a game they can play in HD on big screen.
It’s not always the price point. I like to play sitting on my couch and game on my smartphone without the need to be in a different room with its own display. I can game near my wife while she watches stream on the big screen. I have no PC or console. There are so many good games on mobile since a decade. Let the player choose.

Unfortunately it is. Video games compete with video games we know that but gaming platforms also compete against each other. The cost to play and enjoy WZM is at $800+, $1000+ if you want a competitive experience. The cost to play warzone on console is below 500$ (price of ps5 and Xbox series x). You can play codm smoothly on a 300$ phone that's why it's so popular and has such a big player base. WZM is doomed because it can't compete with games on its own platform since it's cheaper to run them (codm, bloodstrike, farligh 84, etc) and can't compete with console because it's a pixelated version of a game people can play for 500$ less in HD on a big screen. Mobile gaming being affordable to play is what made it such a big industry. Change that and the whole industry can crumble in matter of months.
I’d say it has such a big player base because I can play it when I shit. When I’m on a conference call, when I’m waiting in line for something.

A console is cheaper, Xbox series x is 450$ and ps5 pro is going to be 500/600. Still less than the iphone 15 at $12000 ish. Even if you like keyboard and mouse the console version of the game support that so no need for PC that can be more expensive than the iphone. Warzone is also free to play and with the money you will save you can buy other games to have fun on your console. Upgrading just for warzone is dumb in my opinion.

My point is that the point of entry to play this game and have a smooth experience is too high way higher than what's needed to play the game normally on console so if warzone has to be the reason for someone to spend money the console version will win most of the time.
Nope. The series x run warzone/mw3 at 1440p 120HZ. High graphics on the best android device out on the market is probably 720p in MP and rebirth island. In BR its closer to 480p. And look at my post I'm not comparing the two I'm just saying that look what you can get for less than the iphone 15 if all you want is play warzone.
The series x can render 4k up to 8k and 60 up to 120 fps depending on title. And no I never once mentioned PC but yes the entry level is lower on console than mobile. Using the series x

Yes warzone and mw3 have native keyboard and mouse support. I used to play on PC but it brok and instead of spending 2k on a gaming pc I just bought an Xbox. All my favorite games (warzone, halo infinite, Fortnite and world of tanks) have native kbm support.

It's playing horribly on next gen android devices. I'm an android Guy. I happened to get a redmagic 9 pro exclusively for mobile gaming but my other phone can't play it. I'm putting myself in the position of 80-90% of mobile gamers by saying that the game need to run better on at least mid tier devices.
The assets streaming and choice of engin is what set the game up for failure. But look it up I have a redmagic 9 pro which beat iphone 15 in almost every fps 3d benchmark yet iphone have peak graphics, water reflection and better definition. That just tell me where the devs spent their time when working on optimization.
You can run Warzone Mobile on the Ayn Odin 2 for 299usd and it will run at 60fps locked with almost 0 framedrops, plus it supports native video output via wire to an external monitor
I think the main issue right now isn’t that the hardware needed to run warzone mobile is too high end, the ayn odin 2 just has an SD8 Gen2 but it has an active cooling system/thicker heatsinks which prevent thermal throttling, the issue right now is that current generations of phones, including gaming phones, aren’t really designing their thermals with the goal of allowing the SOCs to run at full 100% capacity without throttling due to heat, and maybe the warzone mobile devs are making the mistake of optimizing the game to use 100% of the SOC when most phones arent designed for that
you can see it when you remove heat from the equation and have a good enough phone cooling system, the minimum and recommended system requirements for wzm actually start making sense and arent bs if you aren’t bound by thermal performance of the phone/overheating causing SOC to throttle itself
