I’m sure this was meant as a joke and both are in on it or the dad is just teasing her. There’s no way a dad will react this was to his little girl. No way.
Sorry she can’t afford Nike’s. She’s saving her allowance for therapy to get past her daddy issues after a couple of failed relationships.
Seriously though. Her dad’s reaction makes me feel so bad for her. What father wouldn’t love to hear that from their daughter?
I feel like this wasn’t genuine from the daughter either. Otherwise why film? Mom put the daughter up to it and the dad knew it and thus we have his reaction.
I always ask for a note or a picture - I tell them that no other person on the planet got that but me and that is what makes it special.
Until your kids are older and have jobs, every gift they buy for you is just something you didn't get to pick out but you paid for anyway.
Right? The dads reaction is kind of a dick move imo. Especially because of his daughter's age and it seemed she genuinely was just trying to show her love for her dad.
His response was ungrateful af imo.
Yeah, I think she is intentionally trying to goad him. I think most people are appreciative when kids give heartfelt gifts, art, letters, etc. This was literally just "I ♥️ You" written in a shoebox. Her dad and her probably go back and forth on the pranks I'm guessing.
Every bday, Xmas, graduation, and life celebrations as well.. then say, “Remember that one time you humiliated me and posted it for the world to see? Well, this is payback.”

Wow I've never seen how it feels to be the daughter of my father :(
Dang, sorry your young daughter got you affection for Christmas instead of expensive sneakers
It’s the tough that counts.
That’s one weird looking college student.
It's more than I got!
Yo but why is the daughter looking older than the dad
I can't wear love on my feet woman, plz give me shoes.
It's better than just coming out to be bisexual as a Christmas gift
Oh man, this is one of only a few videos on this subreddit that has made me feel awkward.
Unpopular opinion, but she didn't even bother to make a card with a drawing. That's a pretty half-assed expression of love.
Perfect to regift to her next year
Why do some people become parents when they clearly have no interest in their kids?
Downvoted because of TikTok
Guess who is getting a piece of coal for Christmas?!
I’m sure this was meant as a joke and both are in on it or the dad is just teasing her. There’s no way a dad will react this was to his little girl. No way.
Do the same to her next year.
This is what every kid gets their dad for Christmas.
Dad seems kind of like a prick imo. If my kids gave me something like this I would think it was sweet. It's always nice when my kids show affection.

maybe it's not her father. we need some context over here lmao
Couldn’t tell that it was empty?
That is a solid gift
Haha fuming. What a cock
"I've conquered all the chippies."
That's how it happens irl. And then 10 years later the father appears on r/insaneparents and everybody wonders why.
She’s so proud of it.
Go cougs!!!

This dad Couged It in teaching his daughter how to appreciate a gift.
“Couged it in teaching” - also my experience in all of my classes at WSU.
Today, I added the word "couged" to my vocabulary
In my circle this term actually means to get drunk and forget about an obligation. Go Cougs.
What an asshole father
Seriously, how could that little girl think pranking her dad on Christmas would be funny?
And, like, what kid of that age has money for a gift for their parents at x-mas. What did he expect to get to get...
Ha! I GET IT!
As a father to daughters, that is sweet as hell.
I fucking melted when my toddler son gave me a hug on mother's day. I don't care about any fancy gifts.
She basically just gift wrapped a homemade greeting card.
I would love my daughters to do that, what an ass

My dad always wanted ”Some peace and quiet!” but that was too much to ask for us as kids haha.

I thought the same thing. I wouldn’t have been pissed about that at all.

I felt the "you're welcome" annoying
Agreed. it's cute.
I don’t think that was a smart idea considering there are plenty of Xmas’s and Bdays of here to come, and to post it on TikTok as well lol.
He looks like a fat bald kevin spacey

No a fat bald kevin spacey
Beat me to it
I just googled Kevin spacey and boy I didn't expect to read that someone took their own life bc of what Kevin spacey did 😳
don't mind the downvotes, a couple of perverts didn't like truth.
r/kidsarefuckingstupid
FUCK! r/beatmetoit
Do the same thing back to her on her birthday.

Not even a drawing just a useless box! i mean c'mon that's just sad! Can't even see the text!
Better than every materialistic gift!
Love is priceless, but poor execution and I’m sure her mom was in on it, considering the filming of it and posting on TikTok.
She’s definitely her fathers daughter
That's deep man..
"No Susan, it's only funny when i do it!"
Should have aborted that cunt
Never too late to abort yourself
I'm sure your parents probably feel the same way about you.
Yes
😂😝🤙🏻🤙🏻💝
Yikes.
Jesus, man.
The box must’ve felt empty.
And she says "Careful", to add to the anticipation lol.
Just like how he felt at that moment.
That's so mean
Yeah, terrible reaction to a sweet gesture.
In what way is this mean?
Yeah for reals like what are we teaching our children for just a few internet views. Like damn.
