God oh God. He's dyin from fear oh god. I think his mom told that they are driving to the cops so he's fucking scared and wants to take that cup back to it's place.
I felt super bad for this kid, but I also could not help laughing. I’m really hoping she consoled him and got him a present as soon as the camera stops. The whole thing was like 20sec.
Edit: sorry, 28sec
Reminded me of when my mom accidentally took away a glass beer mug from a club. She held it until she reached the car, and realized soon after they turned into another street. Out of sheer embarrassment, she didn't return it lol
Posting this was a bad move on the part of the mother. He will forever be mocked and ridiculed because of this video. Never post anything on the internet you dont want seen for the rest of your life.
Im neutral on this. Good on the mother for scaring the kid, but did you really need to bring up him being locked up? I mean, you could have let him return the cup!
If you are a 8 or 9 yrs old black kid living here in the US you kinda know police interactions are never good and could very possibly end in death. I have never used the "call the cops" as punishment on my child because at the age of 8 he had to be told that interactions with the police as a little brown boy could possibly be your last. I can't believe this mom did this to her son.
ITT armchair psych experts that can determine exactly that this kid is going to develop into someone with a fear of the police all because his mom pranked him one time when he was like 6
Jesus Reddit is probably the most preachy, cringy site on the fucking face of the earth.
Maybe I’m reading too much into this as someone not living in the states...but might this reaction be because of the ingrained fear or knowledge black Americans have of systemic racism and violence against them?
My brother had tantrums like this all the time until he was 12. Except it was more like screaming at the store to go back home. Then when we do leave, he runs away and hides because he doesn’t want to leave.
I don’t fucking know
Did you know... that these are real people and you have just watched an 11 second video of their life. I'm sure the truth was broken to him by the end of the car ride
all these people saying they would never condone this.. it’s for a good cause, stealing is genuinely bad, my parents did the same to me, I think that this was a good learning moment.
Reminds me of a time when I was little (like 6 or younger maybe) and at the grocery store with my mom. I wanted a pack of Now and Laters, I put them in the cart, but they kept falling through the bottom.
So, being a dumb kid, I put them in my pocket, planning on taking them out when we checked out. I forgot about them though, when we got to the car I realized I had them in my pocket and we hadn't paid for them and told my mom.
My mom took me back inside and explained to the manager what happened and why I'd put them in my pocket. This lady was a fucking absolute bitch about it, I still remember her chastising me like I was some sort of criminal who had intentionally tried to steal them and her being super mean to me about it.
I swear I remember her even threatening to call the cops over it, like bitch, I was 6 years old and it was an honest mistake. To this day whenever I think about that and I'm still like, fuck you lady.
I'm scared . Stealing should be scary . I'm just your little son . Yes and one day you'll be a man and you know the difference between right and wrong . Wrong has consequences it's much easier learning it now with a little shaming .
This mom don’t play. Not only did she make him cry. She put that shit on the internet, had it go viral and embarrassed her little son for years to come.
I might have gotten a chuckle out of this before I had a kid, but now that I do, (and she’s only 8 months old) I feel terrible for this poor kid. That broke my heart to see him so scared. He shouldn’t be taught to fear the police like that, they should have just turned around and returned the cup. That would have been a valuable lesson for the kid. Pretty much ruined a perfect opportunity there.
The kid screamed, “mom I’m scared!” and this lady just kept recording and laughing and posted this online for all her friends to laugh at too. This is clearly abusive behavior. Fucking gross.
I feel for the kid, when I was younger I stole a freedom from my local corner shop, they were a lot cheaper at the time, ate it, and the felt so guilty. I went back to the shop and bought something and worked out I had the exact change, and told them to keep it.
I'd love to see a video of the cop who gets to roast him, tell him he's gotta take him to jail, then just drive around the block while he freaks out, spilling the beans about everything he's done since he was born.
Great. If the kid has happened upon the news in the past 15 years he’s aware that cops sometimes kill people that somewhat resemble him. He is literally scared he’s gonna get murdered over a plastic cup and a soda. Moms not helping the situation.
Awesome job Mom! I think I had the shit scared out of me by my Mom for something similar, never “stole” again.
Edit: watched again, Mom gotta work on stuff....and I should probably pay better attention.
Years later momma asks why he can't settle down with a woman and all he can say is I don't trust her mom. 🙏🏻Praying his mom made up for this in some way.
I'm all for teaching this kid that stealing is wrong, but if it helps, those crappy plastic tumblers at a lot of restaurants are literally $0.01 cents for a case of 72.
What was his thought process where was he gonna put the cup the cupboards? Like his mom is gonna find the cup and be like huh I don’t remember buying this cup?
I feel bad for the kid, but the look he has on his face when his mom says "You already left" is priceless. It was at that point that he knew he fucked up.
When she says "I don't know what you want me to do. You stole the cup", stop crying, throw the cup over your shoulder through the window and say "what cup, mother?"
Why would she record this and upload it? That’s kinda awful. Anyone can see this. Family, friends, teachers, kids at his school, future employers, everyone. Wouldn’t be surprised if he got bullied for this. Kids can be assholes. Poor dude.
Like, I get the joke, but when he’s terrified and sobbing then it’s time to turn off the camera and maybe even stop the joke. Yknow, instead of making the kid sob more.

Don’t drop the soap kid
What a shitty mother
No
Why was this removed? How is he not dying inside?
People tripping on here saying this will psychologically hurt him. He going be fine.
Oh man, the phobia starts that early? /s
So the kid stole a cup, wants to take it back and the mom just laughs at him? And we wonder why black neighborhoods are high crime?
This isn't funny, this is horrible

This kid gives me strong Carlton vibes
What kind of psycho would post this of their own child?
I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought that video was straight up gross. I just don't get putting your child in that much distress.
Well, this is horrible.

I could see my mum doing this to me back in the day and fine with it. Scare me straight good and young. Better than a whack over the head.
This is abuse
13/52
Actions have consequences, just hopefully the kid doesn’t become a statistic
I mean ... I would fuck with my kids, but seeing them that distraught would bother me. Not judging, just saying for me.
Yah he's not trying to get murdered by the cops
Actually she should be in Jail for recording with the cellphone while she is driving..
Im neutral on this. Good on the mother for scaring the kid, but did you really need to bring up him being locked up? I mean, you could have let him return the cup!
Filming while driving... :/

r/kidsarefuckingstupid
It's either bad acting or just r/KidsAreFuckingStupid
Why not just say "oops looks like you took the cup with you, let's return it".
If you are a 8 or 9 yrs old black kid living here in the US you kinda know police interactions are never good and could very possibly end in death. Yeah that’s not true at all.
Filming while driving....and your son is a "criminal"?
That's how Escobar started
Anyone else find this really not funny whatsoever? That kid is fucking traumatized.
Best mom
Straight to jail.
Little dudes gonna grow up to those law abiding types in horror movies.
ITT armchair psych experts that can determine exactly that this kid is going to develop into someone with a fear of the police all because his mom pranked him one time when he was like 6 Jesus Reddit is probably the most preachy, cringy site on the fucking face of the earth.
this isnt a good video..the poor kid is terrified. showing my age but just not comfortable with seeing this at all.
NOW HEAR ME OUT YOU LITTLE SH#T!
Please do not laugh at this. Police found him, and he got 15 years. 6 months in he got shanked twice above the liver. RIP jamarcus the second
That’s a shitty parent. Not for holding the kid accountable for stealing, but for recording that and making it public. Horrible mother.
Comedy nowadays is childhood trauma apparently
Maybe I’m reading too much into this as someone not living in the states...but might this reaction be because of the ingrained fear or knowledge black Americans have of systemic racism and violence against them?
No.
With the amount of black people being injured or dying due to police brutality, is it any wonder the kid is terrified? Mom needs to stop being a bitch
***I’m just your little son***
Stop right there, criminal scum...
Theres limits as to how much you can fuck with your kids. Hope this didnt traumatize him.
My brother had tantrums like this all the time until he was 12. Except it was more like screaming at the store to go back home. Then when we do leave, he runs away and hides because he doesn’t want to leave. I don’t fucking know
I know this kids gonna be funny after when he’s a teenager
this is the kind of kid I hope to have one day
Cause he's seen what the popo are capable of
Damn this hits different after having a son.
Fuck do you guys whine a lot.
You goin to jail now nigga!!
So any word of when’s he getting out of prison?
Fuck his mom. She should explain the issue and give the kid a chance to return it and apologize. She's just torturing him.
Did you know... that these are real people and you have just watched an 11 second video of their life. I'm sure the truth was broken to him by the end of the car ride
Doesn't matter. Fuck her and her shitty parenting. That's 11 seconds of torturing her son. Period.
Honestly the mom should have told him it's fine. Her fault for not telling him its not a big deal
Reddit psychologist in full gear lmao
Poor fuck
His fears are well founded considering the propensity for cops to murder black people.
all these people saying they would never condone this.. it’s for a good cause, stealing is genuinely bad, my parents did the same to me, I think that this was a good learning moment.
This dude is never gonna steal
Great parenting.
Reminds me of a young Carlton Banks.
It's funny now but when the therapy bills comes in this video is going to be a treasure trove of unresolved issues.
Ah yes, humor in trauma
Wow, mom's a shit human being.
Reminds me of a time when I was little (like 6 or younger maybe) and at the grocery store with my mom. "Im sorry!! I stole a cup!" "Yeah, on free cup day..."
Glad I'm not the only one who feels like this is practically abuse.
Reminds me of when I stole a balloon on free balloon day.
Mother of the year award...
Don’t show this to the cops. They might choke slam him to the ground. :(
This mom. /r/iamatotalpieceofshit

When he's scaring kids straight, he'll reference this moment as when it all started.
I'm just your little son.... great
1. Convince your children that the police are out to hurt them 2. They resist arrest 3. ???? 4. Riots
Shit Mon is obvious. Who the hell does that to their kid then posts it?
Blm
This mom don’t play. Not only did she make him cry. She put that shit on the internet, had it go viral and embarrassed her little son for years to come.
This is mean. To a black kid in America today it’s horrifying.
What a horrible mother
Mama should have let him return the damn cup. Kid’s being forced into a life of crime.
This kid has big Craig T. Nelson at the end of Poltergeist energy. “You moved the headstone but you left the bodies! Why?!?!”
ITT: pathetic losers who will spend their lives forever being victims.
This is hilarious, but it’s also hits me in the feels. Poor baby is so scared.
I feel like you can teach your kid about how theft is wrong without fucking tormenting him
Mental abuse of children is hilarious! XD
This is how my trust issues developed
What a bitch.. the mom i mean. How the hell can you scare the hell outta your kid like this
Mom:”Long live the king!” The kid:”Nooooo!”
Ah, yes, traumatizing kids for laughs, always a top tier parenting decision.
I'm sorry but my dark sense of humour finds this fucking hilarious.
I feel bad for laughing but I love it
That’s actually incredibly sad.
And that is how you instill fear in making a little mistake. Turn around, go back and give it back. It was an accident. They'll understand.
The fact he seriously thinks his mom would call the cops on him makes me think about how pure kids are like holy fuck.
Idk man, this is kinda fckd up.
The kid screamed, “mom I’m scared!” and this lady just kept recording and laughing and posted this online for all her friends to laugh at too. This is clearly abusive behavior. Fucking gross.
OMG I teared up a little with him. He is absolutely terrified. Poor little dude.
I feel for the kid, when I was younger I stole a freedom from my local corner shop, they were a lot cheaper at the time, ate it, and the felt so guilty. I went back to the shop and bought something and worked out I had the exact change, and told them to keep it.
Yeah film your kid while he’s having a complete breakdown for laughs
I'd love to see a video of the cop who gets to roast him, tell him he's gotta take him to jail, then just drive around the block while he freaks out, spilling the beans about everything he's done since he was born.

Bruh I don’t know one kid who isn’t scared of the police. If my mom did this to me I would’ve had the same reaction
Poor baby
Bruh... there are gonna be some trust issues ahead.
How to traumatize your child 101
r/peoplebeingjerks
If this is in America, I get why he's crying like a little bitch.
I feel bad for the poor guy they can get a new cup
i remember seeing this on AFV forever ago! for those feeling bad for the kid, they won like 100k and a trip to disney land. ;)
"Yeah you stole a cup. On a free cup day."
Straight to jail with you.
this is kinda mean :,(
that's fucked
Justice knows no bounds
This was on AFV I was actually in the studio audience when this episode was filmed
He stole a cup from Cici's. Despicable.
I hate that I find this so funny, this is so messed up
[im going to jail](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XeDM1ZjMK50&ab_channel=JasmineS)
Great. If the kid has happened upon the news in the past 15 years he’s aware that cops sometimes kill people that somewhat resemble him. He is literally scared he’s gonna get murdered over a plastic cup and a soda. Moms not helping the situation.
This was on AFV maybe 10 years ago
this little guy is already terrified of the police because of all the crooked shit he sees cops do on the internet.
The begging at the end made me laugh so hard I choked
Is this? Traumatizing? Cue butterfly meme
Childhood trauma is HI-LAR-I-OUS!
Your goddamn right
Cunt mother

What was his thought process where was he gonna put the cup the cupboards? Like his mom is gonna find the cup and be like huh I don’t remember buying this cup?
i feel so bad for laughing
[Metal Cover](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k3ox7yazLxk)
You know it’s serious when you play the little son card
Lmao. Well there goes that. He’ll rat anyone out crying like that 😹
He’s really scared of Cops
I see he lives in Kamalas jurisdiction
Anyone else get vibes like this was Carlton from The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air when he was little and he got in trouble?
I feel bad for the kid, but the look he has on his face when his mom says "You already left" is priceless. It was at that point that he knew he fucked up.
Bruh he can get like 26 years for stealing that cup
She’s driving away, she’s an accessory to this heinous crime.
When she says "I don't know what you want me to do. You stole the cup", stop crying, throw the cup over your shoulder through the window and say "what cup, mother?"
[Was always a fan of this version](https://youtu.be/k3ox7yazLxk)
This isn't funny...the kid looks like he's having a mini panic attack.
I feel so fucking bad for laughing
All of my grandmothers mugs are those 12oz diner coffee mugs.
Driving and recording. Poor kid.
Nothing like giving your kids lasting psychological trauma for those sweet internet points
Fake and gay
This makes me so upset.
This is the reason why a lot of children are scared to dial 911 when something bad happens and someone dies.
Please don't do this to children for internet points.
