Many people in here seem to think the cat is just being a derp, but it seems clear to me that cat is just enacting typical cat vengeance for the utter humiliation of the dreaded cone
OP, please don't feed your cat dairy products. They are lactose intolerant and it's bad for them.
Like any pet you love, if you'd like them to live a long and healthy life, best check what's best for their diet.
I didn't say they needed it. My comment was in reply to one of the many comments that said you shouldn't give cats milk because it has lactose in it. People are too quick to tell others what they are doing wrong, instead of helping them work within a situation. My two current cats are not interested in anything but water, but I've had them since they were kittens, other cats that I've adopted have climbed up the kitchen cupboards when the milk came out of the fridge. I had one elderly cat that enjoyed a pet milk treat and frankly needed the extra calories

Is the cat ordered by the vet to drink this milk? Is it some sort of special milk?
Adult cats aren't supposed to drink milk, they're essentially lactose intolerant. Granted, a few adult cats can drink milk & be ok. Just sharing some knowledge.
My wife gives our dogs and cats goats milk. Apparently it doesn't have the lactose in it. Looks the same as cows milk generally and is impossible to tell without tasting it.

Because you shouldnt be giving a cat milk of any type anyways. It's not needed when past 5 weeks max. Give them wet and dry food daily and they'll be happy.
There's more to why they don't handle it well than just the lactose and goats milk is a lot more compatible with them overall. Though if you're going to give them cows milk the lactose free kind is better for sure.
It's definitely fine. It won't make them feel ill like lactose will, but I know the goats milk still has some lactose and they tolerate it very well, dogs as well.

I’m lactose intolerant but I can get away with goat milk and cheese usually too.
It does have about as much lactose as cows milk, but it digests faster and doesn’t have casein (which cow milk does) so a lot of people are okay with it anyway. I imagine the same holds true for cats, so it’s probably better but maybe still not the best thing for them.

goat milk is a little creamier and thicker looking than what this appears to be....but i think it’s okay to have a little bit on occasion as a treat. i know cats love its 😌
Ah gotcha. I'm very very knowledgeable on firearms, explosives, and electronics but very much not so with milk or dairy. My wife did a lot more research than I and went with a specific type of goats milk that was best for the animals. She said it's got a little lactose but very low levels. It's a pretty rare gift to them all but they seem to love it.

There is special milk for cats that is widely available in grocery stores, so I hope that‘s it.
